It's another one of these games where you best snap the pic immediately after game over of you're screwed. In fact I paused to take a couple right before I might die, which I unfortunately did so was glad I took the pics.

Safe to assume that FIM mean Finished / "Game Over".

I thought it was interesting that this particular version was utilized in the MSX I Mania Collection. I figured, other than the language used, that the game itself would be identical.

The same characters and goals as the Famicom version but completely different perspective making it more of a action, puzzle solving type game then a platformer.

The interesting thing about this particular port is that it's the only one, that I'm aware of, that changed the graphic representation of the ship to match the the appearance of the fighters in the 1979 movie and subsequent series that ran from 79 - 81. The intro screen also features the theme song that was used in both the movie and series.

@DuggerVideoGames:

The reason for it's superiority is that it was made as a computer and not simply a game system. It was considerably more expensive. In fact several times the cost of the 2600 when initially released in 1979.

The 5200 is practically a 400 computer, the lower line of Atari computer to the 800, but without keyboard and with altered controller and cartridge ports.

For more detailed info and the 800 series of computers go here:

Targ was an old Arcade game by Sega / Exidy in 1980. (   http://www.mobygames.com/game/arcade/targ  )

While there were no "official" ports, Telegames made one called Universal Chaos which is an exact clone. (  http://atariage.com/software_page.php?SoftwareLabelID=573    )

Even on Exidy's own system they renamed it for some odd reason.

Thanks. It was surprising, after finally finishing the Broken Path tower, to also get through the next one, Swimmers Delight". With the amount of elevators, doors and short gaped floors I thought it would be a lot tougher.

I've looked at the contests. Both the modded 7800 console and the 2600 Book would be nice to have. I would have loved to get the NES and Everdrive that's still highlighted on the main page. Since I can't find anything about that one on the contests page I have to assume that one is already over.

You're doing great in the contest. It would be  real challenge to catch up. Especially with how long it takes for scores to get 25 votes.

The second pic is from when I submitted that score on Atari Age on 2-25-16 for Week 6, Season 5 of the 2600 HSC. The paper with my user name isn't present on the first pic since I've never bothered doing so with any of my score submissions on AA. I'll start doing so from now on since I'll be posting scores on here as well. Obviously, any older scores that I've previously achieved won't have it. I searched through the forums on here to see if there were any prohibitions on using previous to the current date scores and could not find any. If I am incorrect in this assessment then please let me know.

Thanks everyone.
