Apologies this one is clearly C64. Removing score.
Thanks Mantalow - just looked that one up & definitely didn't know about it. It looks like a good copy-cat clone of Gauntlet. :) There were a lot of games that borrowed the principals of Gauntlet back then & Ranarama was a good example of those that only borrowed the ideas but created a different look & feel.
One of the best Gauntlet clones for home computers. :)
Yep, thanks. I must have hit the wrong category. I'll remove this one.
Thanks, Trickster. I'll kill this one off & re-upload (making certain) before adding it back in. Youtube has done this a couple of times to me recently. :(
LOL, I don't actually have that much N64/Atari 8-bit/C64 in the back catalog, alas. :(
Thanks, Ben. "Stay left" is the best advice I can give. :)
Video upload got cut off - will remove score & check footage.
I achieve the 2048 tile and that resets the game (I used the "Never reset score" option prior to starting). Just in case the "Never reset score" is a problem, I terminate the recording there.
Scoring based on Frankie's comments in his submission for 43 at http://highscore.com/scores/Commodore64Emulated/180/10561
2x 2-0 wins = 2x20 = 40
A score of 19 on the round the clock challenge = 19
40+19 = 59.
There's a significant gap between the "cup" rounds and the round-the-clock challenge as I was reading Frankie's notes to understand what it was that was needed. For the record, the round-the-clock challenge is game 2, not game 3 as in Frankie's notes.
It was Kernzy who tipped me off about the place via YouTube. :)
Thanks S.BAZ. :) This is footage from 2002 - I knew I could play the game reasonably indefinitely (an extra life after the set of three levels) but had become bored. So I aimed to discover any max/rollover... Had a couple of missed attempts before this. Turns out this one rolls over.
@TRB: OK, well, let me state that TRB is a brilliant player with many fine scores to post too. :)
Thanks TRB. :D While I know a lot of people know me from other sites, this is a new site for me and there are, of course, going to be people that have different ideals. I just have to get used to how things work here too. :)
@derek: Thanks for the tip, alas this is old footage & the hardware is boxed up in the loft. I don't understand how a disconnected picture somehow supports direct capture. I guess I've got some learning about expectations around here. :)
@Frankie: Yeah, I was like that when I had 8 at first. I think 10 may be possible with some very careful "parking".
@DakotaKid: I dunno how to make direct capture any better attributed when there's no-where to put a name in the game. If you'd like to check out more to help make your mind up, I post almost everything (muted) to YouTube (follow the link in the above or my Videopac playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41YqUDX7k_g&list=PL_2Hq7eC7-gaL70tNgoJ0GsjljApS9wmQ ) and submit most stuff to Twin Galaxies with audio (where available) - the full footage which contains this is at http://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/144211 . Let me know what you'd expect otherwise.
Note: this is "Game 0". There are other mazes available in different games.
Note: this is "Game 0". There are other games available via the numeric keys but 0 is the first, I guess.

Ah, this was emulated & I've just noticed the emulated option. Sorry.
Score for the level is 192070. The 292070 is part of the Adventure score.
