It's a good game! I recently got it at a game store, pretty fun platformer game.
good score and this looks legit, but I think it should have a video since the top score has video evidence, and this beats the top score by more than double.
why do you have so many different accounts? I think you must have 7 or 8 by now 8/
didn't get my tag in this one but the score is crap. The controls for this are crap.
Highly recommended! My pick for the best home console pac-man cartridge!
Highly recommended for this game -- the music track called "Chykka Larva" from Metroid Prime 2 (on endless repeat).
still not the greatest evidence but that's what I was rocking in 2013. I think this is one of the first scores I submitted here.
I think I had that on photobucket and it disappeared.
see if this works...
what the... ?
Yes vote here, good video
I never played Meatball version, but I like this game better than Asteroids...
and Space Rocks even better :) (2600)
I don't see anything about "Hard"
This is actually a wonderful picture.
This looks great!
didn't know about it.
I would accept it, the Game Gear runs MS games with a little adaptor... and I would assume vice-versa.
which makes things pretty hilarious as far as categorization goes...
It looks good to me.
Great score in my opinion, and especially great dodging skills!!
That's a tough score! this game is at least as hard as the arcade game to reach 20k.
And -- this chart needs more action!
wow, sorry it took me so long I just saw this x)
yes, default is Normal.
I never knew those were so good until I played G&W Gallery.
these G&W collections are a great value!
dang, good helmet scores \o/
hey that's a great version :)
wow, lots of games for "first" trophies!
Looks like Intellivision
that's a really fun game!
wierd but still better than some arcade ports for that system!
I thought I'd gotten hit like that, not losing shields... had no idea why!
Yeah and the English version shouldn't be that expensive iirc. Seems like it should be more or less $10 or maybe double that if complete.
FB1 is special since it has its own versions of the games and does not emulate the original.
I know what you mean. Zenji did not leave a good impression for me.
Have you ever fought the final boss on the NES version? Maybe that's just part of the game.
AND... it has Robotron.
Wow I never knew about landing on the ground to power up!
Curious, how do you manage to take so many shots without dying?
Yeah I'm surprised there aren't higher scores on this by now. But for now you're the champ!
It's unfortunate that we have two charts that the same score can go onto. So some users will think it should be one chart, others think it should go on the other chart... But if they don't like the idea of it going on both (like "double-dipping" basically), then maybe they will vote no for the same score on one chart and yes on the other.
but also... yes we all get some nonsense no-votes x)
I think some people just pick a random reason sometimes.
Easy is not the default option, but I think it's actually a disadvantage for scoring, right?
haha ha h;we killed it at Anteater xD
Was that 30 points for team Highscore?
yeah it's great, I've always loved chess & still play a lot!
right! so that's a Keystone Kapers hack?
I didn't find out enough about it, does it play any differently?
oh, which page? It looks right under "Highest Scores" and "Metal Slug 5"
Is this the return of Zimer?
nice progression record :)
c64 version added!
yeah I had a really hard time with that game.
that doesn't look like "Very Hard" -- isn't that just "Hard" ?
Wow, you're aobut to break into the top 10 users already!
I used to play this at a different pizza parlour where I worked. I didn't like it very much but we got free credits after our shift so after getting good at it & competing with co-workers I was actually kinda hooked.
A recommendation: whenever possible, to get the picture of the info for how many balls per play, especially with 3 Balls (the "harder" mode) submissions.
I passed up a game called Jewel Master for DS at a pawn shop. Then I saw this score and thought "well if it's a game like that, for 2 bucks what the hey..."
Boy was I disappointed. It was a cheap Bejeweled clone!
Agreed, if you re-submit this you will have the top score. Fun video, and welcome oORaydenOo !
When I lived in Medford, Oregon there was a pizza parlour that had $4 all-you-can-eat chicken, spuds & soda at certain times! So my friends & bros & I spent a lot of time there and they had Fish Tales so we had a lot of competition on that. This place also had live arm-wrestling tournaments with balcony seating all around the arm-wrestling area. Fun times for 12-15 yr-olds!
This looks legit to me.
Agreed with GTi, the rules say to play on default mode unless otherwise specified and there are charts for the other modes. Also more points are awarded playing on Hard mode so it is not a fair comparison. Recommended to remove score & re-submit to the [Hard] leaderboard.
This was probably my favorite pinball game from the 80s & 90s!
Wow, that's tough!
Impressive, I had a damn hard time with this & got as far as beginning of stage 4. I didn't know about this scoreboard or I would have kept my video!
Strange that it doesn't give you a score...
I agree, original rom but not original hardware, so it goes under "Emulated."
Man, that PAL Super Mario is sure faster!
Cool! I didn't remember you rocking Dragon scores.
nice picture, love the chess set
Correction: your score says 64,206,390 [not 690]
Wow what a crazy score!
Oh, I see! It says "2017, "Spooky," and "Remake" in the icon below!
oops, I meant @omargeddon
Some admins (including myself) have added charts in the Flashback categories for games which have the same original rom that can be played on an Atari 2600 or 2600 emulator.
Since then I have come to understand that the Flashback 2 uses hardware emulation, while Flashbacks 3 - 8 and Flashback Portable use software emulation. (The original Atari Flashback is a unique system and comes with new versions of the old games. It does not play the original Atari roms like the other Flashbacks do.)
My thought is that having two separate charts for the same game emulated seems redundant and pointless. It also seems that this would lead to having more and more charts for the same game emulated (using different emulators). This would make it more and more inconvenient to find out who is the proper record-holder.
So, therefore I have decided to stop adding charts for Atari Flashbacks 3-8 and FB Portable, unless for some reason there is a game on one of these emulation consoles that we cannot play any other way. I also stopped adding charts in categories for other specific emulators and emulation consoles, such as Colecovision Flashback and Virtual Console -- unless it is a game which is only playable on that specific emulator or emulation console.
Voting yes! The flashback 2 hardware emulates 2600/VCS hardware, allowing it to play the same 2600 rom as an Atari.. Therefore: Correct category!
Haven't played any Metroid on GBA yet (wow)
I just got Advance Wars Dual Strike on DS, looking forward to getting into that soon!
yeah? I thought it was awful x) Only played it a little though. Just found out you can climb up the tree from here. Maybe I'll have another go sometime.
Yeah I really don't know what I'd rank above it!
Still a lot I haven't played though. I'm disappointed with Sword of Mana & Tactics Ogre.
Advance Wars 2 maybe next best?
And of course many of the ports of NES, SNES, Sega & Arcade games, GBA is a great system... it's too bad it's library is so bloated with stupid movie & cartoon junk & etc.
This is a bad score. I often let the GBA sit there during battles when busy with other stuff
Run starts @ 35:30
This is an amazing game.
The star by my level shows the game has been completed.
nice to see some Neo Geo scores
That's been happening for a long time, off and on. Only way to get that vote is with a video and being played on original Game Boy, I have no idea why. They are totally compatible hardwares and within the rules of the site. Maybe somebody just wants to see everything played the most "original" way.
Wow, great run!
Nice run! I've never made it that far
Did you watch the cartoon too?
Ok, I get it. I can see the playground is different! These are hard to check on...
Hmm... I'll try again, maybe I made a mistake!
wow, that's great, go Locomalito!
Cool! How do you like the c64 mini?
Is "2018" noticeable by the background?
I'm also wondering, Is it still possible to play these tables from the previous years' editions?
wow. I'm actually not surprised though. I played this game and it took me freaking forever. I think I ended up with 12k.
This is getting a lot of no votes. I don't mind voting YES. For one it does actually have the username in the snapshot, which makes it a slightly better piece of evidence than what a lot of these Google Breakout scores have, including the top score.
Same here! This doesn't count as a time for the footrace.
voting YES (evidence isn't too good but it's a small score so no problem!)
also appears to be emulated.
That looks so small it might be hard to control!
did you know about the highscore.com discord?
you might have to talk to Pearl to get access. It's fun, a chat server :)
Also the current top score has a video, so this may also account for the number of no-votes.
Yes this time!
I met a guy who was going on about his childhood favorite game, but he couldn't remember the name. Eventually I recognized he meant Megamania!
He was happy to know the name. :)
yeah it's tough. I've pleyed this off and on all my life and just got my personal best with this score!
Hopefully they at least have clear rules so people aren't prevented from submitting scores just for having a less popular interpretation of something, like what exactly constitutes leaching, for example.
Sounds like they intend for this to encourage people to participate in a discussion before voting, which makes sense but it also sounds very time consuming just to get some points in order to submit a score.
One of the reasons I don't do much at TG is the way the site is set up. That alone seems time-consuming :( It doesn't seem very fun to me. Highscore and Retrouprising are both really fun to use IMO.
Like you said it appears to herd people into voting on everything and running with whatever vote seems the most popular. They apparently figure the dispute system solves the problem in case an unfair score gets hastily voted in, but then again, it also sounds kinda draining to know your vote may not even stick if you are familiar with the game and know that's how you want to vote.
I'm surprised anyone can add a track! But at least that explains the nonsensical tracks I've seen there.
Still I think it's a great thing and if it were the only high score tracking site I'd be all over it
It's a very awkward & difficult version until you get used to it. And even then ...
But I always like Popeye :)
Oh I see! Didn't know that about Galaga & missed your point about TG. Yeah, sounds like the Rapid Fire option would be a disadvantage if anything. And a piontless track... no pun intended!
That points system at TG does sound pretty wierd. If you don't mind I have a few questions about that:
-- Can you see how others have already been voting when you go to vote?
-- What do the points do for you?
-- And does this points system replace the overseeing admin powers or are all three of those systems at work?
haaha no idea. x)
On Highscore the Galaga rapid-fire tracks are listed as "Fast-Shoot."
I agree about picture-only evidence being insufficient for a top record, or even any big impressive score. I actually vote no on a lot of those.
*Referees* -- by referee I only meant with respect to this Pleiades score in particular. Assuming that's what you meant by your first message, that this was verified by a ref?
Yeah it's a tough call whether to have admin oversight capable of overturning the vote. For many including myself, this nullifies the point of voting. I understand the purpose for an expert or panel of experts but it seems to me it should be either that or voting, but not both.
*Vote pushed on public* -- At first glance, it may seem like there is pressure to vote a lot on everything, but after a while I realized the user points reward for votes is very small (avg. of 10 pts.) compared to getting scores accepted, and especially when cracking trophies. The amount of points I've earned by voting is comparatively miniscule.
As far as any newer scores that you do have video and/or pictures of, I'm sure they would be welcomed here in that case!
Using the 2-Player side for Galaga has been accepted here.
Galaga fast shoot scoreboards have been added to Highscore.
TG referee-verification doesn't carry a lot of weight these days, and probably won't get accepted here as evidence for a score. Personally I accept picture evidence if it's not a huge score or taking over the top spot. Otherwise, video required. I think a lot of other users vote like that too but each user has their own preferences. Anyway, external video is always best and recommended!
I agree the vote system isn't perfect but I can also see the drawbacks of other ways. Referee system is flawed for obvious reasons. Personally I like this voting system the best but it's really just a personal preference. I don't like being around abusive admins and we're free of that here. IMO these are all very minor complaints and all the highscore sites are actually pretty cool. I hope you'll stick around but I understand if you prefer to use a different site.
Also another note -- remember, voting no doesn't necessarily mean the user thought your score was faked or cheated. It can be in the interest of the integrity of this site. Personally I don't doubt you got this score.
I think part of the reason too is -- some users here want to be able to verify it for themselves. Just relying on TG isn't good verification in some users' opinion. Part of the incentive for both the creation of highscore.com, and for players to use hs.com, is the reputation that TG has gotten when it comes to referee verification and so forth.
So some people will always vote no on this type of evidence, which we've seen from a handful of other sites, giving us nothing to go on if we want to verify it for ourselves, for this site.
I usually vote no on these unless it's a relatively low score (which this one is). I'm not sure I want to vote yes here though because it will be the only score on the leaderboard and leave a precedent for this kind of evidence taking the top spot.
I rarely skip a score when voting but I'm skipping this one at least for now.
my #1 wish!
I guess no-votes are due to no Atari in the picture? Or maybe someone required video.
Wow, I was curious about that! I heard a rumor it fails after 50 votes if it's got less than 80%.
37, that's a strange number to me.
Submit again, I bet it will get accepted! The consistent 2 no-votes for most every score isn't happening lately.
I don't remember, but I have reached 415,000 on this game when I was playing it all the time. After that I went to the arcade and put up 360,000 so it's a great port, works exactly the same.
I still don't have a single CBS cart!
I have over 400 titles, over 700 atari games including variant labels... But no CBS
that was fast :)
nice CBS collection!
Yeah great score!
thanks, I like this game x)
ah, the days... [8
hey, it's high time for some good ole Pipe Dream!
actually just fyi, if your game is over you can still switch the difficulty back and forth, opening and closing those holes while your score remains on the screen.
but I'm still voting yes since it's not for the top spot.
that's hardcore. I was playing this recently & it was getting very tedious... not to mentioned I actually died with less than 100k.
The run starts @ 5:21 !
my best run on camera so far...
fun game as long as you don't mind dying and hitting reset a LOT.
good to see you back here!
yeah it's a really tough game. I think I got to that level years ago on the Genesis...
I plan to have another go at it.
doesn't even have a label!
yet another nads max score! I wonder how many of those you have now :D
that's my personal best too I think. Biggest score I've seen is 76.
run starts at 0:51
looks like I forgot to get my tag in there.
Hopefully y'all can recognize my TV & Atari!
I didn't catch up, but I found I still had my picture from a contest a little while ago!
It was one of the contests started by classicgamer_27330 in the "High Score Clubs" forum. Don't know about the next one but he does special contests from time to time. He's been talking about an upcoming multi-platform HSC for a short season.
played during the namco museum contest at atari age.
In my opinion playing on Tournament Settings is legit for this scoreboard! Even though it's not the default mode as the rules say... Tournament settings is harder.
I think your score is legitimately achieved and the reason for the no votes is, that it's a really great score and people want to be able to verify the settings and see all of the gameplay. Highscore's twitch connection doesn't seem to work properly. The link to your twitch video should help a lot if it goes to the full video. When I followed that link, twitch told me the content is unavailable unless I have a time machine.
If this doesn't get accepted, I would recommend re-submitting with the twitch link there from the start (and making sure it's still available).
Or, even better yet, you can screencap the video and put it on youtube so it can be available here. Some users I think don't want to go elsewhere to verify a score.
is there an indication that this was on the hardest difficulty?
ok I found it, the score has been removed by "Shaynard."
voted yes, sorry !
hmm, I just noticed this is john676's score page
I thought there was another user with the same picture. What was I smoking??
that's funny, the NES version? Are any of the others like that?
HAHAHA I play a lot of Game Boy.
Thanks, I'm still playing, trying to crack a million!
yeah, know what you mean. I'm trying to come up with a better method than I have.
crazy, it's completely different!
nice GG streak xD
what a hilarious choice of movies to be made into a video game.
big game boy scores!
maybe I'll give it a try...
you'd think a bike race would entail some type of penalty for crashing every 6 inches or so...
Is it a homebrew?
probably being a pretty high score & people wanting video and/or ID tag in the photo.
Rodland is a great game! I played on NES & Game Boy.
voting YES to welcom thelatestmodel to HS.com!
So is that basically Othello / Reversi ??
that's a solid scoring strategy!
Nice! another maxout
what a funny game
In your picture, it looks like the difficulty switches are set in the "Novice/ B" position.
Thanks Maxwell... I see by your score picture as well, the scores are higher with each harder setting.
Wow you can jump off the elevators!
hey john676, how come a different user is using your same picture & score for Ice Hockey? http://highscore.com/scores/GBA/ActivisionAnthology/71129
hey, wait this is John676's picture!
is there any indication in the picture that this is played on Expert level?
love the PSP!
so is Bayakuya the name of the guy in the picture?
I found out the scoring is the same either way, and not only has Lucky to drive while shooting with 1 gun, but Wild can use both guns while the car drives itself. Basically Wild is easy mode I guess, so I think I'll add it.
"backwards long jumping"
reminding me more of how great that game wa, in the 90's M64 was amazing!!
hey that's a damn good score for only one controller... do you not have a 2nd controller?
Users can actually do this independently. You can just submit your score in the Genesis category. And then also click "Remove This Score" in the upper left here, to delete the Jaguar submission & prevent getting more no-votes.
thanks! I love how it just lets you keep trying as long as you can. I would have liked this game growing up.
I read it's easier to play as Wild, since you don't have to drive and can focus on just shooting. Do you know if there is any difference in the scoring between the two?
hey welcome to highscore.com, MrSome1 !
I'm not familiar with this but I got that game last year & look forward to playing. I played Mario 64 a crapload!!
I like the new look!
No worries, you can remove this and re-submit under Sega Genesis
Awesome, one of my old favorite arcades. How does this one compare??
YIKES dude !!
hey nice choice of PS2!
That's an awesome score! Unfortunately it isn't getting a high acceptance rate, most likely due to the fact that (a) it's a huge score, topping the world trophy score, and (b) it doesn't have a video. With really big scores like this, people are more hesitant to accept them without video.
I hope to see lots more of your scores, you rock!! (on Crystal Castles at least)
I played that locally here at Blairally arcade. Back in the day I played it at TajMahal, MetroCenter in Phoenix, AZ
hey, this looks way cooler than that game we got on Atari!
got it back!
It was amazing but I never found any games. The Gauntlet game unfortunately sucked, it was like they didn't finish the game before rleasing it. But the colors & graphics & sound were wonderful. I wish I knew what happened to that thing...
thanks! and thanks for that video
oh, yeah that's unfortunate. sometimes I play pinball and just try to do what I can so I know what you mean. well no worries, rock on!
Oh, fun! 1 point for Sean Stewart and 1 point for ichigokurosaki1991 in the "Meet Highscore.com People" challenge!
I have a request -- in the future when playing [3 balls] can you try to get a picture of the tags up front showing how many balls per play? It helps us with voting since players may have played with 5 balls and it wouldn't be fair. Not that I think anyone intends to cheat the site, but people do make mistakes sometimes.
I like Mario Kart better too, but Diddy Kong Racing is WAY better than Mickey's Speedway
ONE OF THE BEST DAMN SONGS EV ERR !!
pretty good game! I was surprised.
yeah great score!
strange machine... that's not a MAME cab, is it?
the music was a big part of making this seem like a crappy game to me back in the day. I thought it sounded "cheap."
These days it's ok and kinda makes me laugh. It sounds silly. and quixotic.
oops! fixed now.
This game sounds great !
I think that says 5,600 actually
awesome xbox setup!
nice video !
now i have another question -- do you ever use both A and B buttons alternating, to fire faster?
the Lynx is the only system I had BITD which I haven't recovered in recent years.
I never got to play one BITD ! Only saw them in magazines.
I had a Game Boy and an Atari Lynx (but only one game, Gauntlet).
ok, nevermind, I can hear the button clicking. Man, you fire fast!!
I can never fire that fast & your finger looks to be holding the button down
great score anyway!
are you using an autofire with that controller??
looks like a fun game?
Is that a Pengo hack?
NGPC's are actually pretty cheap if you wanted one. Like $25 or less I think.
YES ! very impressive copetition for the Game Gear and Game Boy. Maybe poor marketing and maybe too expensive?
these days, I like the NGPC but it's unfortunate it had no light, and the joypad-stick thing can be a pain in the ass even though it's very comfortable to use.
The TurboExpress was fucking incredible but unfortunately we couldn't get our hands on one!
wow, LOL !!
this game looks like it can't be true! for Odyssey 2.
I think oyama, being from Brazil, what he means is... if you want to remove the annoyance,
then you can remove your submisison... and then re-submit using only correct evidences.
Also this game is called "3D Ultra PINBALL Thrillride"
I think this chart, "3D Ultra Thrillride" has been entered by accident
wow, this game is already in there: "3D Ultra Pinball Thrillride: Normal" -- and you already have a better score!
nice to see those Ataris!
voting yes! I don't see the system but it's not an earth-crushing score and it does look as though played on a CRT.
nice, I don't think I've ever seen this one in action! It looks impressive.
ha, funny... that sounds about right
and yeah Harem is easily the best one. I think there was another company too that made X-Man.
This game was the reason my grandparents wouldn't get us a nintendo!
They didn't know the difference 'tween Atari & Nintendo and didn't know that it was just an adult game not available at toy stores & PayLess or whatnot. They thought this is what the games were like in the video game world for kids!! hahahahahhah...
I think they relied on church pamphlets or something.
That final speed really hands it to you LOL
hey omar-- I've been voting yes on these, but how do we know it's "Amateur" in the video?
Oh not again... I score a lot but you guys are kicking my ass.
Great attack!! I don't know if I can shoot that fast on a NES controller...
AND... Nice dodging !!
you're gettin' good at this game now!
which one do you like better between this and Star Soldier?
you're killin' it at this! I had a great run today but suddenly lost 4 lives in a row on stage 6 with 700k
yeah watch your skills come back!
voted yes: small score.
good scores, but screenshots don't usuallly get accepted for the top spot... if you can't make a video yet, I would suggest at least taking a photograph with your id tag.
for video I use: aTube Catcher, or a smartphone
hm. too bad, you'd think on PS2 they'd make a damn good one.
I guess I should be happy with my Gradius III :)
still haven't got good at it yet either.
Is "Grandprix" something different?
I'm still hoping to find a copy of Gradius 5 some day...
nice avatar xD
great score, but you'll probably need to have better evidence for that since it tops the leaderboard. A photograph with your name-tag in the picture would help a lot, and a video of your game would be best.
"you're fuckin A it does" LOL !!
yes I want to remove that onto the correct chart, however I don't have access to do it, only the site owner does and he's currently got his hands full with other stuff. But we have added it to the list of corrections that need to be made.
Not an easy task !!
for some reason I always get it into my head that this is a horizontal shooter
this at least has better evidence than the one on the chart.
Love the tag!! LOL xD
how do you like that game?
sometimes people just pick a nonsense answer. I just ignore it if it's not helpful.
ha perfect timing, it begins and ends with the Lost Boys
Ha! I hear ya.
yeah, it gives you the option of a scrolling screen or entire screen, very nice of them!
my PB is 104k
keep crakkin' I've just improved again and not stopping yet!
...plus head-butting through the glass window to escape !? it's too much!
thanks! trying to crack my pb on video...
wowser. never heard of it, I gotta try that!
but I love this game anyway. Reading about Mr.Do!, I find he's supposed to be mowing the lawn! ...So why do the apples zoom to the south?
oh! got it
nice, got your name in there :)
hey euphonium, can you tell me where to look to find ball three?
The 1st one to get the score keeps the trophy.
I was waiting for this one :)
Similar to Atari 2600 games are acceptable when played on a 7800 console, or Game Boy Advance games played on a DS or DS Lite.
...looks like I was mistaken, GBC games do play on Super Game Boy.
for reference, the rules for Game Boy Color submissions:
"Rules: Play with default settings unless otherwise specified. No hacked ROMs. No passwords or cheat codes. Must be played on a Game Boy compatible handheld device, Super Game Boy SNES/Super Famicom attachment, or GameCube Game Boy Player attachment."
same with Game Boy Color games, except that they don't play on the Super Game Boy.
Game Boy games can be played on a Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Super Game Boy, or Game Boy Player for GameCube.
And still be considered original hardware. They have Nintendo Gameboy hardware.
Awesome x) I was aiming for 600k all day and just broke 500k once, finally.
This seems different than what I've been playing. It looks like everything is moving faster than my version, similar to in Gustlik's video when he played it on SNES. That's not a PAL version, is it? Also the screen stops and goes black for a moment before bosses?
anyway, yes vote from me.
Hahaha I like when you shoot with the music.
yeah it's true! 100 is posible, perfect knockout. Toymailman was highly trusted and a well-known player at AtariAge. But yeah that score really should have a video! especially on the A/A setting (although I don't know what difference that makes for this game.)
check this score out also: http://highscore.com/scores/Atari2600/Boxing/68208
Pitfall75 came close!
right! much appreciated
this reminds me of a Commodore game!
Ha same here, hadn't played it forever, like since not long after Super Bowl came out. Same score I got too using Raiders, hahaha
Shouldn't we keep it consistent with the other Winter games by using [Score x 10] ?
so the score would be 43?
I never knew about this one. Is Gradius you favorite game?
hey I want my trophy back
what emulator is that??
geeeez... lettuce quit monkeying around already.
a Subway marquee read: "LETTUCE MEAT OLIVE YOUR EGGSPECTATIONS."
har har, but they bew it! "your" ??
what is that ? couldn't they find one more pun? hmm... ... I know!
they have a restroom, right? "Lettuce meat olive urine eggspactations."
I'm emailing Subway.
Wow, nice one
the graphics on that look amazing for 2600!
hey omar, this is actually "Star Castle Arcade"
there is a different chart for Star Castle Arcade.
check out Serious' video for Star Castle: http://highscore.com/scores/Atari2600/StarCastle/76
I think Mythicon double dipped with this game and Sorcerer.
I don't know, but if you go to the video page that everyone else can access publicly, that's the one with that stuff in the url.
like, if you're using the video manager or "Creator Studio," then click on the title to your video and it should take you to the public page. then, use the url from that. Hopefully that will work!
I never had this problem since when I started I would go to the public page first to make sure it was playing and set to public. Then, I just kept this habit.
Oh, good. then you can show Atardi a thing or two!
That's a pretty nice Atari though
I'm curious, why using playier 2?
always crakkin those top scores
Bub snuck him some donuts, maybe?
wo,wait, is that...
is that.. .. a decent Superman game ???
A buddy of mine scored a bunch of uncommon games and brought them over to let me have first pick for cheap prices! Unfortunately I couldn't afford all of them and this was one I passed up
this game looks pretty badass. and lives up to its name!
BTW, saw the video and voting yes
if you go to add evidence, and add the video again, using the url which includes "watch?v=" in the url. That will work better here. it's the one that the public can see when they watch the video.
You may also want to re-submit the score, and it will replace this score page and the voting will start over. That way you can get a better acceptance rate :)
nice dodging around that end boss x)
impressive. I wouldn't have thought to go for a NARC record.
I'm curious -- when you're talking to people, can you hear them speaking, or are you reading comments while playing??
disappointed with this game.
didn't get good at it though so there's that...
anonymous voting is trolling in your book?
So we're in Troll Village !?
great style of evidence!
I'm pretty hesitant about the whole "trolls" thing, as you may have gathered.
remember Scootablue? that dude was definitely trolling IMO.
no-votes? idk, can people troll like that?
I'm getting an error when I try to play the video
Ah ok I get it
and adding to the corrections list...
that's the path! I almost got that down...
didn't play enough I guess
is that MESS?
ha, good strategy
No problem! I know they already voted, but I hoped people who still haven't voted yet will take a closer look and not just see there's no-votes and follow suit.
Anonymity is part of the voting system, it has to be that way, I don't think that can change.
The site would be a drama mess if voting was not anonymous. People would be accusing and bitching and arguing with the ones that voted no. Then users would hesitate to vote no when they actually thought the score shouldn't go up, just to avoid the drama. Some users would be afraid to vote how they see fit due to getting verbally bullied.
I just want to remind people to use their logic. What is a legit score? What are your evidence standards for voting and follow that instead of guessing and suspecting and rivaling against users etc. that's stupid!
what purpose would it serve to show who voted what?
anyway it looks like a couple users have it in for you. I just want to encourage people to vot based on the validity of the score based on the evidence given. That's how I vote!
"Dino Eggs Rebirth"
made by the same guy who did the original: http://www.dinoeggsrebirth.com/
he actually emailed me himself in (I think) 2015 to tell me about it. He had seen my emulated score here
Someone else also made a sequel called Dino Legs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_v9oeJC7ss
don't know if it's available though
aww crap you gotta write that s** down!
my brother doesn't come here anymore since he lost his password. Maybe we can get the man to create a password retrieval option.
maybe if you used an external camera. I know that's awkward though from doing a few game boy videos. anyway it'll be what it'll be.
I vote yes on these Free Fur All scores, but accidentally voted no on this one, sorry!
if anyone who meant to vote no here, would kindly hit yes instead?
that would correct it :)
that's a lot of Free Fur All
what I mean is, how did you get the video to show up in the comments like that?
whenever I try it malfunctions, same with pictures.
did you lose your password?
ah rats, should have gon with my first hunch, I tossed Schecter out of my head and then tried to guess. I even have one of those *_^
I know what you mean about Jackson & BC rich necks I felt the same for years until one day I picked up a Dean and suddenly I could play better than ever before so that's my fav. now!
most of the game play is missing
the biginning of the video you already have like 50 million points.
this is one of those games where my skills mostly stuck with me!
Yeah I still want to gat back at it some more. I was surprised I couldn't catch up to my emulated score, just sitting down with it for an hour or so. One of those games I found challenging to re-learn after not playing for a couple years. And it always tricks me into forgetting I can walk across to the other side xD
Did you see the sequel from a couple years ago?
I think you're the fastest masher ever x) very impressed
Star Soldier in the Caravan Collection looks like it plays faster, yes?
nice recovery at the end there!
nice to see more Mario Kart scores!
voting yes but you actually scored 3,708,160
you had one more life after the posted score
which one's the real DrJosh?
is that a Jackson?
it was back then, during those comps actually. I'm surprised I don't have a score posted, or anywhere on my computer actually. wierd.
how did you do that?
yes vote here
screw the twin galaxies rule
I say you can let a boss escape once per stage. I noticed in Stage 1 there is a miniboss that never appears unless you back up.
bring 'em on!
great logo x)
nice job getting those videos embedded in there!
voting yes, y'all
in my opinion this is quality evidence and looks legit to me
it even shows the emulator having default settings restored.
seriously, big improvement
too bad it's muted tho
I got more confused with kernzy's recent submission.
it says 50 but in the video it's 5.2 and he doesn't even make the jump ,"/
I dont' know if it's a change in rules or just voting letting it slide.
title says meters.
I'm realizing this game is way better than I previously gave it credit for!
I feel like I don't even have a good score yet xD
But at least I got back to the top, back at ya Gustlik
...and thanks for the motivation
also isn't this for [Meters] ?
I think this chart is messed up, lol
is this right? At 9:30 I saw 5.2m with a miss, knocking the bar down.
Criminy, what is going on with the votes on this one??
this looks pretty solid to me, folks
I tried this and got hosed
you've inspired me to challenge one of your scores!
good LAWD that's alotta points !!
hey good point! I'm making a note.
ha, yeah nice video!
and this looks like a great game
this is the origin of "Groggle"
or "Grohgl" or whatnot.
and this game looks better than I thought it would.
ok nevermind, I figured out how to fire like that
to be honest I probably would have left it there if I had noticed there weren't any scores I was beating. this isn't a very big score. maybe I'll repost xD
crap, I can't seem to get a photo to load.
Wow, it's Brock Lesnar!
I agree this title should be renamed to allow infinite lives/level restarts.
For now I can add a deathless chart.
Deathless seems to make the most sense for this game but since there are already submissions on here with either no evidence of lives used, or runs using multiple attempts, this one is best used for multiple lifes runs.
looks like this and Star Voyager both wanted to be like the Star Wars arcade game!
and all of them wanted to be the real Last Starfighter.
A video that only shows the score at the end counts as picture evidence to me.
my suggestion: when submitting a score that beats the top ranked score, look at the evidence provided by the user with the top record, then make sure your evidence is at least that good. At least, that's what I look for when I vote
they should have made it work with swipes...
10,800,000 + 500,000 + 76000 = 11,376,000
wow, how did you know when the ships would appear?
you can also go to "add evidence"
At this point though, I would simply submit the score all over again, this time with a video.
otherwise it doesn't look like this score is gonna get accepted since it already has too many no-votes.
the Game Boy was a great invention
Great game and high on my wish-list!
this game was a pain to play and I deleted it from my phone!
Oh, nevermind I see!
reset @ 2:50
thanks Pearl :)
I do see now the Normal ending at the end of the 1st loop.
Still this is confusing me. At about 1:58 I see is where you reset and go back to the options again... but it looks like you set it to hard again. After this 2-minute mark I don't see another reset...
so how did this happen?
yeah, 1st for me
well actually I saw Surround before this, didn't get to play though.
your score is off by 100 pts!
looks good to me
...why not 0:05:59.40?
voting yes but you actually got 45,210
that last lap, rockin !
top score has a video, so I wanted to require video to beat it.
you're on a trophy-cracking tear!
hahaha why are Airwolf games so funny?
this looks like a pretty funny game x)
this looks like it was played on [Hard].
looks good to me !
ok sounds good if that is the consensus for Battle Garegga!
yeah really fun game, very addicting!
You gotta be... !
I don't know. My guess is I named the wrong file then deleted the right one.
which one do you use?
i think those last 2 pictures weren't there before
... or else I'm trippin!
ha thanks >_<
I don't know how I did it
funny Raizing used the Konami code '~_~'
Well, I guess the rules don't specify anything about "cheat codes"
However, I still wonder...
Would that qualify as default settings?
I always loved this game x)
never got very far though
nice name card!
yeah great job!
gotta love a super game boy :D
I usually want to see the video here, but I watched at twitch and voted!
great MK run
no-votes is not trolling
and I vote yes, low score
score @ 7:13
looks like it needs more evidence
that was fun, good run :D
I'm gonna try your bonus pattern...
Drat! I was hoping to take over before you put up something like that x)
maybe I can still pull something out...
this seems like a fairly hilarious version
needs better evidence, & looks like multiplayer
sounds about right :D
oh funny, 236 again
You got that right!
I'm finding the bonus rounds are a lot harder on this version too.
yes vote, but I think you actually got 25 here...
although I don't know why rushing attempts is tracked here
where's your score?
looks like a pretty funny versin of Congo Bongo!
and they're both Chuck Norris
best way is beat your score using proper B mode, that fixes it.
but i have to admit, I do think it's pretty hilarious.
I figure, I played that game, it's the best I got
It's my high score
I'd like to see this on the VCS
I like the look of that game!
I think it's a little more difficult, although I haven't played the Colecovision one very much.
actually, I've been doing it all along, there are just so many!
nah, I just couldn't get any points.
I played several times and gave up, lol
That should be a good starting point.
ha what a find
looks well-made, I suppose PB was about to slose their video games division. Seems like they should have released it.
thanks TB-303 for helping me find this video!
wow this is the first time I watched a touhou game x)
had no idea it was a ball-bouncing game
with shmup elements? or is this moreso considered a shmup with pong elements !?
ignore the top photo, grabbed the wrong one...
Played at RetroUprising:
#19 on the list, my RU user name is Thundarr
and you can see my avatar here: http://www.retrouprising.com/arcade.php?act=Arcade&do=stats&gameid=5842
Magic Sword: my only 1st place trophy at RU :)
well still good run, that game's hard!
totally! I didn't think much of it right at first but it grew on me a lot.
so yu can't punch?
wow I never saw this before.
made by Parker Bros?
I had it as a kid and just played it a little for something different, whenever I got tired of other games. I think I didn't know I could play it with paddles...
yeah, fun game!
isn't this the game called Google Image Breakout?
i think this title got entered by mistake.
I never got too good at Astroblast.
that was your first time playing?
Wow I never knew about evasion mode :D
I don't think it starts over, just keeps tallying votes unless the % gets up to 80%
so if the score had 10 no-votes it could eventually get accepted by having 40 yes-votes. (I think.)
I remember Scott Stilphen complaining that his # of votes needed to pass a score kept getting BIGGER. So this is why I'm assuming it remains in voting after 25 votes & not accepted.
I've also found myself several times grinding through a bunch of scores that had already gone beyond 25 votes. These were times when I hadn't been as active in voting for a month or something, in android iOS & web games.
It's confusing though because what would that mean for newcomers? Do they have to wade through years of unaccepted scores before getting to vote on recent submissions? Or maybe they only see stuff they haven't voted on that were submitted AFTER they arrived...
you rock in my opinion
huh. that's kinda lame scoring 8/
thanks for the info. I'll add that to the list of stuff to throw at Serious. We might also ask Jesse to replace his own in the meantime and re-submit that one under the right setting.
Score more by joining the gang! LOL
I assume this is fair play & can only be done once?
one easy way is to get a cheap webcam. there should be a webcam application in your laptop. if not you can download one.
another is to record video with your smart phone if you have one...\
do you know if the scoring is the same on hard mode?
I wonder if the top score here (which was done on hard mode) is fair. usually I think it's fine to play on a harder setting, but if that means you get more points for everything...
and considering you got basically to the end, I'm not sure how one doubles your score.
(i guess it could be like Double Dragon where certain moves are worth more points.)
wow, CoCo on N64!
shame it doesn't say the name of the track on that screen!
it's hard for me to recognize which track it's on in the screen with the times. I'll have to get the game out & check, but probably this will be through with voting by then.
So I've never been clear about one thing at this site:
if a score gets 6 no-votes, then it stays in voting for some time, right?
what if it gets tons of yes's after that, do you know how that works?
Anyway I'm accepting this one and ones like it as long as they're not picking up extra lives in the process.
seems like we should require video on this chart especially.
well, it's photo evidence, but honestly I don't see any problem with photo evidence.
It's just that's a massive score and probably impossible without leeching. I'm not knocking you for leeching, but I think a bunch of the people who accepted this don't mean to accept leeched scores unless it's a chart specifically allowing for that.
So, it seems like what happened is, they just weren't being very careful.
cool, I gotta try that out
oh I see!
this looks awesome
So far the way I've been looking at it, as long as you're not earning extra lives it's not farming though. Like if your lives are running out there's an end point, a maximum amount one can use that strategy.
I thought that's ok to avoid death, then use up your lives at wherever one can rack up the most points.
Like Super Mario Land (GB) for example. People save up as many lives as they can then use them all up in the last level earning points collecting coins.
nice, it gets pretty hard after about 20pts. :)
man, that happened fast.
I came to this score far too late to get my no-vote in!
I would never have voted yes to this with just a picture, even if no one ever mentioned point-farming.
Folks, this is not a cheating problem.
This is a VOTING PROBLEM.
Let's be more careful when voting everybody!
that's the way to do it x)
you may want to include video here at highscore.
although I'm not sure that's the whole reason for no-votes
I voted yes though.
folks, this is not an incredible score. especially on Low
I don't see any reason to vote no.
I'm amazed there wasn't a score for this yet!
I'm looking at it some more, but I think I'll probably call this legit.
derek, what do you think about my comment?
and should this still get voted down for the speed-up, even if it's normal point-pressing?
I don't think NGE gained any extra points by speeding up the game.
just the same amount of points. I think NGE just sped it up to save real time. since this isn't marathon gaming I don't have much of a problem with that. It does seem kinda lame I guess. However, myself and others have used that feature to speed past the cut-scenes in pac-man games. essentially the same thing here.
Definitely not leeching since there is a timer.
It's just allowable point-pressing, IMO.
Only question is should the player have to spend the full amount of time doing it? Or, is it ok to speed it up while the time counts down?
definitely seems questionable but I'm sure that's not leeching.
I still don't understand how to read the # of errors.
is that the .0?
fun game ;)
in addition to showing video for rollovers, videos should also be included for special requirements like [Start at score 0]
hey, ILL, what emulator did you use?
makes so you can map keyboard buttons to your controller
rad pictures overall in my opinion
I'm thinking these would have gotten more yes votes without the confession topic. ?
as far as I know, all no-votes always count unless somebody got caught cheating.
(for example, using multiple accounts to abuse the voting system).
all issues of cheating in the games themselves, or faking videos or what-not,
is left entirely up to the vote.
man this should have been voted legit.
I would try again later.
Rockin score, man after 10k I have a hard time...
welcome, love the name & avatar!
and I like the game room :)
I voted yes, I hope some more people do!
Wow, how long did it take you to get that score??
yeah, if you can playback the inp you can just record that.
This is also the exact same score and picture from your Jakks Pacific Super Pac-Man: Pac & Pal score submission. They can't both be entered correctly!
These headings are kind of confusing. Most of the Jakks machines are listed by game, and the name of the machine as the system. This one names the entire dedicated system (with game specified) as the game, and simply "Dedicated Console" as the system. If that's not bad enough, the emulated chart is listed as "Dedicated Handheld Emulated."
If you can get the Super Pac-Man jakks system in the picture with your score, you'll get a much better acceptance rate. also getting a name tag in there helps a lot.
It is up to us to vote no if the evidence does not support the score. Serious has given his word that he will not remove a score which has been accepted through the voting process. If the one who submitted the score requests its removal, then that's different and Serious has taken down a couple scores that way. MatthewFelix is attempting to correct this the best way which is to simply submit a new score with better evidence. If this passes it will replace the old one.
This looks solid to me, y'all. That's a good video in my opinion and the score matches.
yes vote here
I don't personally suspect people of cheating even if they did in the past. I just go by the evidence presented. I vote yes on most of MF's submissions. This one I'm voting NO just because it's a strong score with no video.
score #3 on the high score list.
more IGBY goodness...
ya sounds right
I hope we can begin to edit older titles...
have you ever played "Rubik's Cube" on Atari 2600?
Yeah, good score, you can do it! One time a stellar run will appear...
I'm very good at not having a Flashback Portable. I wish I sucked!
Ha just what I would have said too. My first time seeing a game for this. It looks kind of like Apple II graphics but a little better. I look forward to seeing more!
thanks for the info! I'll be happy to correct that. :)
hahah hence why I don't play this game xD
Nice, that's a great collection, I love that one for the PSP!
Are Video Cube and Rubik's Cube exactly the same game, or is there a significant difference between the two?
appreciate the video too
Asterix, |Obelix, AND Waterworld ??!
wow, I always thought this game worked the same as a real Rubik's Cube.
This should be under Atari 2600 (Emulated). That's why you're getting no-votes.
If I tried right now I might not even break 4k :D
probably have to get back to practicing for a week...
Ah, rats. Have you tried repeatedly cleaning the connectors in the cartridge? I use Q-tips & rubbing alcohol but other stuff works too.
When I was growing up I thought I didn't like this game very much. But I only had about 20 or so games so I kept playing it from time to time and in the end it was one of the few games I still played!
Also Joust, Ms. Pac-man, I want my mommy, Missile Command... maybe space invaders.
Thanks! Lots of playing to find a pattern which can get you past the level after the difficulty has max'd out. From there one can roll the score with a lot of patience to keep focused for hours :)
I got about half way there when I threw in the towel...
this one's not working for me, i think it should be consistent with other users on the chart.
another score is already accepted on this chart, not using decimals. I don't think it would be fair to the other user.
also the maximum score doesn't require a decimal, and has been achieved here in hardware category.
that's different from how it's been scored on the hardware chart for the same game, that could cause some confusion. It's a better way to score it though I agree.
I don't know. the other ones say "score*10" in the title and this one doesn't.
I guess I'll skip this one at least for now.
good score! Mine doesn't even show up on the list any more.
PAL games have not gotten a separate category. The games are the same although sometimes the PAL copy runs a little slower or faster. Which may or may not affect the difficulty. Maybe certain games should have separate charts, but personally I don't think it matters for the most part.
I have a "Joust" cartridge with the "P" on the end label. But, I can play it on my North American Atari 2600 console.
What does this mean ??
this isn't contending for a top spot or even top ten. Same user regularly posting scores recognizable photos, the score in photo matches and there's the tag and recognizable scene.
just my 2 cents. I have no problem with people demanding video every time. I just think that isn't necessary for lower ranked scores.
fun game !
welcome to highscore!
good to see your 2600 Popeye score!
not a big score, no need for video in my opinion.
however I don't see anything wrong with users requiring video for any score submission so I don't mind getting no votes when I only use pictures.
unfortunately I'm not very good at Metal Slug but I did give it a good bunch of tries!
Maybe the arcade game kept the same scoreboard going like that, even if you adjusted the settings. If so maybe they were just keeping it authentic!
wow this doesn't seem to play like scramble x)
nice to see this !
right, HEADS UP voters, this improves the scoreboard integrity!
on this one 100k is a tough challenge.
this version unfortunately doesn't compare to the original in my opinion.
could also be that they just don't agree with multiple loops.
big vote here!
I know, why did they do that ?!
should be [ckong]
now it says "Video is unavailable."
I'm sitting here voting on a bunch of scores and suddenly I get logged out.
welcome to the site :)
just f.y.i. -- this is probably gonna need better evidence-- a lot of folks here prefer to see a photo of your device, or a video... something moreso than just a snapshot, especially when it makes first place.
it also helps a lot to write your user name on something and get that in the picture too. Something to show that marcos13 made this score, and something to show that the score was made on an android and not iphone or windows phone or something.
thanks! good points.
by screencap I was referring to how I do it with input files.
Many users will not take the extra time to get the proper emulator to play back that file, just to see the video. Same with going to other sites to verify scores. So what I do is record the playback as it plays back. Now I have a video I can submit to Highscore.com !
So, what I meant was if I had a twitch video I would:
(1) play it back for myself to record;
(2) record it (screen capture or maybe external video);
(3) submit the video to Highscore.com !
This way the score submission would receive fewer no-votes.
I've watched them, great score runs
The reason for "photos insufficient" votes is due to the evidence presented here. Yes, it's technically in video format, but all it shows is the screen with that score on it and then the video just ends.
this is essentially the same evidence as a photo, hence: video desired.
I think this needs to go under Emulated.
here is further discussion about this multicade:
agreed, these are emulated.
they do not belong in the (Arcade) category not being original arcade hardware.
they do not belong in the (Pandora's Box) category not being played on a Pandora's Box.
thinking of it that way it is very simple.
these scores belong in the (Arcade Emulated / MAME) category.
these scores do appear to be on a multicade.
i think I would screencap it so I could show it here
for a while, I had my name tag taped to the TV, so it was already there when I had to act fast!
ha, wow I never heard of this one.
lol how did you do that?
I got to watch the video, but I don't see any sign of the hardware NES.
Is there a way I can tell you played on a NES?
This too my eyes tell me, has the score at the top of the screen.
DIE is killing it!
As I recall, your score is the money earned.
so, voting YES
I'm seeing 350 revenues at the top of the screen (top right).
now I have an itch to get back at arcade Qbert.
I played for several weeks to get my paltry score posted here, but then I went into Ground Kontrol and broke 100k my first try AND got kicked out before my game was over!!
wow I'm impressed
I had a hard time getting anywhere with that game.
yep, centipede by a different name, looks like
I didn't know that, I only played it for high scores!
funny, I only played it on Genesis
yep, sure do x)
It was a struggle to say the least, trying to compete on this one.
I still have scores from 2014 I haven't posted yet, hahah
that version is so wacky/frustrating !
great version of Dig Dug!
almost perfect to the arcade ...
know what you mean but I still like Mappy on the Game Boy...
good to see you're digging the game boy games :)
I had a game boy in my middle/high school years & played the crap out of it 'till it broke -- then got another one & played the carp out of that too...
yeah good score !!
This game looks badass on Super Nintendo!
do you mean in this game you can continue AND keep your score?
cool multicart :)
maybe less no votes if your initials were set in your profile? so people can recognize it on screen.
as far as I know, NeoGeo console & cabinet are the same, no difference in the games or hardware.
yeah, this is Pac-Man 4K or Pac-Man 8K.
that there's a quality Gauntlet game!
in this game, the score stays on the screen even if you change the settings.
this one may need a video
the score stays on screen if you change it from Novice to Advanced
I sure hope I can get one of these!
at any rate it's a really cool picture actually.
do you like it as much as original Boulder Dash?
So many games for the GBA that I haven't played still...
I use "aTube Catcher" for 70's/80's/90's - type games.
if you have a digital camera, or a webcam, or a phone w/ camera -- even better!
a lot of games people just use photos but for top scores it gets more and more demanding... welcome to the site btw
Wow, nice one!
yes this needs a video, not just a link to the same picture and some digits representing the same score.
So is it true, the Pandora's box has altered versions of the games?
derek's right, if you have the inp you can playback the run and make a video of it.
I don't think anyone thinks you cheated, but the fact is all we have to vote by here is screenshots without even initials.
every time I follow links like that there is no video that I can watch, so they just waste my time.
the current top score has a video.
it's preferred if you beat the top score to use at least as good evidence as they did.
Harder version of Galaxian. they shoot more too.
personally, I find the Genesis controller a little awkward for atari games & I prefer the good ol' CX-40.
you could click "add evidence" I think as another option.
Wow this is the first time I heard of this game :)
why are [hunchbacka] and [hunchbackd] both called Hunchback (Set 1) ?
how do you like this game, Larquey?
looks like a fun time
I thought it was the same game loaded on the multicart.
kinda like "Genesis 6-pack" with Sonic and Streets of Rage, Columns, etc.
you been here a long time CousinVinnie! I remember from when I first started, CHEERS!
I all I see is a bright blank screen. nice cartridge though.
Am I missing something? I probably have to vote no on this one but your scores are normally solid in my opinion.
isn't that fantastic?
you can use a Master System controller too.
I think that is the best way to do it.
However, unfortunately it has already been done the way you have it:
Also, it's not to far fetched to get the max score of 10, which is exact at least.
Did you ever see Krull? It was pretty awesome in its day. Maybe not a box office hit, but really cool and original nonetheless.
Not to mention having a young Liam Neeson.
nice one !
glad to see people are using the strength rating.
you have really excellent scores, but you'll probably need more evidence than this to have them accepted here. If you have an inp you can record it playing back in order to have a video to show us. :)
Also, getting your initials in there will help out a lot too.
ultimately, external video is the best.
I know I did better than this, just couldn't find the damn evidences!
but at least I have a keyboard again now...
made for 2016 contest !
the score is the little blue number above the red zeros.
more old IGBY scores on the way x)
submitted to the hardware category by accident.
plus, people voting didn't pay attention apparently.
Thats awesome to get, and #1 on my Intellivision wish list!
I reported this should be removed. If needed I can enter a score of zero which is at least better than nothing.
HAHAHAHAHAHA !! LOL
Wow, I just noticed I entered this in the wrong category!
I gotta fix that...
do you know which rom this was?
f.y.i., the fat ship doesn't prove difficulty A.
you can play the game on difficulty B, then switch it to A after your game. (the score stays onscreen)
looks like google image breakout
...what the hell is google atari breakout ?
I just watched popeye the movie
Better than i remembered but I still didn't think it was too great.
you will get more yes votes if you get a name tag or something in the picture
also - if you set your initials so people will recognize CRP as you
Good to see scores for this!
nice Beluga !
im really slow lately (broken keyboard)
ill do it now though !
looks legit to me
wow now that takes some determination xD
welcome to highscore.com !
I'll vote yes on this why not. It got some no-votes due to having no name tag. Also for Game Boy sometimes people require videos.
just a name-tag in the picture will help a lot though.
for some games and depending on the system, you may need to provide a video, especially if you beat a top score.
good to see those Atari scores!
I hope you had a good time at PRGE
"Video is unavailable"
yeah it's not looking good
So is there a diffference between the AES & MVS versions for this game?
Great score, but a photo alone isn't good enough for this game. You need a video to show it was done legitimately. Or re-submit under [Any Tactics].
and you can possibly get banned for talking to people like that.
I tried and tried to like this game growing up. But I thought it was the worst one made by Atari. One day I finished the game, and it repeats over and over. From that day I liked it better :).
Now playing many more atari games I know E.T.'s not the worst ;)
yeaH good score.!
nice! I'll be back for this one!
if you don't mind my asking, what is Xbox 360 mode and how can I recognize it in the video?
is this emulated?
It looks like 0:33.07 in the video. The timer starts at 0:00.0 at the exact moment you take control.
That's what I'm wondering about. Why not 33.07?
I know it's not much of a difference but your video timer seems to work very well & it looked accurate. I was wondering if you knew of a reason for this discrepancy? And why would frame-counting be more accurate than your real-time clock timer?
See what I mean? It looks like your evidence is saying 33.07
it will be in last place, 55 minutes, 50 seconds.
nice graphics for the O2 !
or it's the emulator perhaps?
ha! nice I actually like this one too. I didn't enjoy Burgertime until I played the 2600 version, but now I like most versions.
if there is an emulator called Intellivision Flashback this is not the chart for it.
that would go under Intellivision (Emulated)
if you just got a name tag in there, it would help a lot to get your score accepted.
wow excellent run !
now if we could just see the video screen in the picture with your face... w/ cart & power on... that would be about as good as it can get.
Did the people who frame counted it give any notes about how they determined that?
The reason I ask is, when you take control of your character, it looks like the time starts at that exact moment. ---And, I see it changes to 33 seconds before making it to the castle and the screen flashes and the timer stops.
Maybe you lose control when entering the final screen? I just don't understand.
leeching/milking is usually not considered fair unless under "Any Tactics" category or something like that. some users allow it in all cases though. It's not a written rule, just the opinion of users voting.
I vote no to milking like this unless there is a stage timer in the game (like in Double Dragon or Donkey Kong) to prevent indefinitely staying somewhere & racking up points.
also it appears to have a lot of scores posted with nothing but a snapshot.
wow great score!
Yeah, the current top score has much better evidence, so this score would go through easier if it had a video.
so how come it is not considered 33 seconds?
hey I'm sorry I can't make it!
I meant to let you know earlier but life has been ridiculously crowded & busy for me this past month. I lost money, almost got evicted, had stuff stolen. I have no money and must keep busy working for a while. It's annoying that I can't make it to PRGE 3 years in a row but that's just what's crackin'.
Thank you again for the offer I really appreciate it!
Good score anyway... at some point you'll have a BREAKTHROUGH !!
I'm at that point right now with Pac-Man Championship -- can't seem to crack 100k. But eventually, something has to give! :)
w13rd gqmE, |3 u + fun!
I bet that was fun, one of my favorite 2600 games
oops, tripped it again xD
small score on the chart, so the evidence doesn't need to be great. I'm voting yes!
not a big score so I'm not demanding much. voting yes.
this game is both annoying and comical at the same time when the screen disappears so fast! It reminds me of an old kung-fu movie that suddenly ends as soon as the bad duy dies...
i guess the bright side is, it doesn't threaten to topple many high scores! xD
I hadn't figured out the controls yet, but at least it's a score...
And a new record!
maybe you should re-submit this one?
I've tried several times, refresh and still the pictures and/or videos don't show up.
Ok it wasn't exactly a couple days. Sh*'s been crazy last week.
Yeah I'll plan on going if your offer is still available! Thanks again for the thought.
I can meet you at Ground Kontrol!
the current top record doesn't have a video, so I'll give it a yes vote
I like the avatar!
I'd love to. I'll have to get back to you in a couple days to confirm. Also, sometimes shit happens and I find myself broke as a joke and having to take some work instead or something... but I think I can manage to make sure I get there. I just hope I have some #@!% money!
I was planning on going this year with a buddy and setting up a table but now he bailed so I thought I wouldn't be there at all.
thanks again, I'll get back to you soon
cool, rock on!
I spent a lot of quarters on Guerilla War and 1943 and Black Tiger xD
Overall probably Ms. Pac-Man takes the cake.
wow, great score!
love this one! one of my favorites growing up.
the NES version plays a little more like the arcade so it takes some getting used to for us 2600 kids. xD
thanks, it's a tough game!
I don't have any moderator status, only admin. abilities for adding requests.
It's up to you to re-submit if you like, and it can be judged by everyone voting.
I just noticed that according to your time calculator the total is 3:01.807
the time you entered is 3:01.087 (which is a better time than your actual score).
I've gotten all kinds of reasons & sometimes they don't make sense, so I just don't worry about it. I think sometimes somebody votes no for some reason & chooses one from the list that doesn't match their real reason?
Personally I just remember, the no-votes are just no-votes and users aren't required to give their reason at all. so if the given reason is unhelpful, no big deal. if it does help me improve my submission, then great!
Looks right to me
You have the time entered incorrectly
I always liked this game & I always sucked at it!
& didn't have enough quarters to improve :(
So I played games where I could last longer.
Like Moon Patrol.
But I was happy to throw one quarter at Rally-x!
Looks fun, i always liked 8 or 16bit baseball video games!
YEs vote from me (photo only but not a huge score and does not break top record).
I don't think the no-voter believes these are photoshopped. Seems more likely they dont think photos are enough evidence.
But don't forget, it could just be that user voting no to almost every score.
one of my favorite arcades, yeah maybe top 20
but also just because I got lucky someone in town was selling it cheap x)
I don't doubt that's true, but there's not really any way to show that using pictures or videos.
And basically I'm just not sure if it works to compare scores of players who are starting out with different numbers of lives, you know?
Oh I see :)
ha, strange looking cart
holy crap, lol xD
so you beat the game, and yet far more points could have been available?
hmm. another one where you can buy extra stuff to trade in for continues?
I haven't voted on these yet, but it sure seems like these should be single-life runs.
I'm not sure buying continues with your coins should be allowed.
I got this game, and I noticed you can buy 10's of thousands of coins online for a few dollars. So players can literally just pay a little money out of their pocket to have a stash of coins for trading in on extra lives.
It seems like this game should be scored according to a "1 Life Only" basis.
I always check everyone's score for mistakes but I do get a little lazy with regular users' videos. sometimes I just look at the picture & vote yes.
scores are going through fast right now! lots of voting happening, yes we're voting well xD
I see, thanks! I'm going to get this game & play before I vote :)
plus it just looks fun.
my 1st arcade machine!
I'm not sure how to judge this. you get lots of continues but it costs you more coins every continue, while the coins you pick up earn you more as you progress farther. Also you can apparently build up your coins before starting a new game so you'll have lots of continues to work with? Wouldn't it be possible to rack up 100,000 or more coins before beginning a high score run?
I think maybe these continues are more like "lives" for this game, but it seems a little hard to get how scores can be compared for this game while using continues.
Wow, great run
I just caught up in voting :)
just waitin' for that video :)
looks like you actually got 1,000,000 more than your posted score.
excellent evidence, as always
almost voted no.
I want to see a video the next time someone beats the Devil World (emulated) record!
I think this is legit but I also think a score submission that beats the top record should have at least as good evidence for it. It will also help to get some kind of ID in the photo.
looks legit to me!
this one will probably pass with a 96% (that's great these days!)
and without video... I wouldn't worry about it, congrats
right! Back under the bridge x)
just keep 'em coming
I'm just gonna keep posting scores, no worries about the voting.
I know my evidence is legit enough to get accepted! And if one of my scores did get shot down I can always re-submit that later...
oh, right! it's emulation
I've also got 3 no-votes on all my hardware scores and 4 no-votes on all my emulation scores.
maybe 1 or 2 of those no-votes because of the video not showing the NES ?
there are a couple users on a no-vote rampage currently.
getting something in the picture to identify you made the score, this will help your acceptance rate.
for this chart I think any tactics are allowed. I think JEO got 999,999 in 1:49:01 or FASTER, so for this submission I voted YES.
for Castlevania III, I vote according to Twin Galaxies' rules -- which means:
- 5 lives maximum
- no going back & forth replentishing candles to leech hearts and money bags.
so for this submission I voted NO
yeah! I just got my 1st arcade machine x)
it's Do! Run Run in a Berzerk cab, watch for my score soon, ha!
man, that voice would get annoying!
that Pandora's Box looks awesome!
YES vote: small scores don't need to have good evidence IMO
true! try to get a way to id your score and that will help you get a better acceptance rate.
screenshot-only isn't very solid evidence but I still vote YES unless it breaks the record or a great score.
yeah, also try to get your hardware in the picture as well so folks know it's the plug-n-play and not something else. (or another plug-n-play)
personally, I'm voting YES since it's not over 100k score, so I don't mind limited evidence.
back up to 80% !
another Pennsylvanian on the chart! :)
forgot to rotate!
yeah that looks like a fun game !
cheers! I think I played it on the commodore a couple years ago...
I'll send him a note :)
yeah that ain't cool!
I watched again and saw you scored 126,363,384
Is that not correct?
I haven't tried contacting him about the no-voter.
when I make a video of something like that I use a webcam, or a phone-cam. Setting them up on something or using a tripod.
all of my most recent scores have gotten 1 no-vote as well. (with videos)
do you know if any scores have stayed at 100% lately?
as far as your legit-rate, the plummeting will slow down to a halt as you approach 96% if you consistently get one no-vote per score (96%).
Yeah I dig it!
it got more addicting each day x)
I don't understand "Elements destroyed + 1 * percentages"
Is your score meaningless in this game?
Gridrunner is a Centipede clone, I think?
I see this has gotten a lot of no-votes.
Perhaps this is because there is no name-tag or any sign that mjacobina took this photo.
Also, there isn't anything in the picture to show the game was played with only 3 balls. For all we can tell from the picture, it could have been done with 5 balls.
hope that helps.
good to see a bunch of sharp scores!
this is a good video, if you get a name tag in there you'll definitely stop getting so many no-votes, IMO
-- no ID
-- picture gives no indication of what level the score comes from
--> NO vote!
I can't see your evidence for some reason.
if you exploit a glitch the score has to go on a different chart. you might try requesting an "any tactics" chart for this game or something like that.
if you get a photo of your device with a name tag or something like that in the photo, you'll probably get a better acceptance rate.
it seems none of your scores submitted match the ones in your videos, but in this video you scored more than what you submitted, so I'm voting YES.
the last score I saw was 135,429,900
the current record holder only gave pictures so I'll vote YES to this one.
"MILK IS FOR BEBIES"
"REAL MEN DRINK BEER"
web games scores don't do so well getting accepted here unless you have a photo with a name tag! or a video even better.
personally I don't care and vote YES unless it's a huge competitive score!
My top 3 favorite GBA cartridges!
* Namco Museum
* Final Fantasy Tactics
* Advance Wars 2
YES vote here
your legit rating (97%) looks pretty good to me!
I like to keep in mind: picture-only evidence is always a good enough reason to vote NO in my opinion. So I never complain about any NO votes I get for picture-only evidence.
But I just still submit my picture-only evidence when I think it's good enough by my own standards, and it almost always gets past the voting.
some people will demand video for MAME scores, to verify the DIP settings. MAME is the toughest category for voting, some folks keep it pretty strict.
I vote YES anyway!
But, for winning the top position I think it is fair to ask: provide at least as good of evidence as the user with the current record.
I see at the beginning (both versions) you have these other ships unlocked. How does that work? Do you know how I can play with those other ships?
(notice in my video I only can select from 4 ships)
looks like a DS.
I wonder, can one tell it is from Classic Mode?
I played this and I remember getting over 30,000 so I think this score isn't very hardcore. So I have no problem voting YES with minimal evidence.
uhh, I'm pretty sure that just means you can't sell at the store.
Be that as it may, no one can see that from your evidence.
See what I'm saying?
Just trying to help. It seems to be the reason your submissions are getting no-votes. That and there is no name-tag or something identifying the user.
not a huge score, so it won't change my vote, but for this game the video should show the option settings, there are many options easier than default.
yeah no one can tell if it wasn't played on a Retron or laptop or whatever.
maybe if you get a photo of your score, including the system in the picture? I bet you'd get a better acceptance rate.
this would have a much better acceptance rate if you had a name tag or something like that in the picture.
The Mexican Abobo!
thanks for voting :)
looks like fun!
Wow I didn't know you could do that!
Watch out for that Mexican Abobo!
I'm voting YES but your score is actually 42,910
good score! this version's really hard.
the asshole with a machine gun!
I'll give it a YES vote!
I take it this is a pretty good game??
this game has good music for a 2600 game!
finally we have a score for this!
Not a big score, folks. so I'm not sure why the no-votes.
I only vote no for lack of video when it beats the top score or it's just a huge score.
or, YES if it's an obviously small score that beats the current top score.
Just sharing my way to vote :)
correction: score is 18,800
thank you for showing dip settings.
are there many games like this where different versions of MAME require a different rom set to play the same game accurately?
a great game!
I don't know, I chose the one-player option. I thought it just worked that way, but maybe I joined the other player in unintentionally.
I'll make a note to try it again some time. Maybe I need to play again & submit a new score.
the way I would do it with MAME is record an inp and then run the playback and record video of the playback using a screen capture program -- I use aTube Catcher.
hey that place looks like fun!
dang! good score
these really should have a video if it beats the #1 score
yep... totally acceptable to press for points, the game has a timer!
welcome, Gamegod! this score has come CLOSE to getting accepted.
for future reference, a photo of your device gets a little better results.
a video pretty much assures your submission will be accepted.
Looks like a fun game
Welcome, zev! Don't worry about all these no votes, it's just like that with web & android games, users want to see a little better evidence than a screenshot, since it's so easy to make a fake pic. Personally I always vote yes anyway on scores like this, which aren't close to the top score.
Just fyi, if you want a better acceptance rate, video works best, AND photo of your device with a name tag does pretty well too. EXTERNAL video is the best.
do you know how we can verify what romset you used?
So, does that work for the title of this score page? Do we need the game title adjusted here?
Yeah fine by me, works just like Double Dragon or Donkey Kong. Pressing totally acceptable in my opinion.
I'm curious, why the 2-player score?
so you mean, I can put it onto a usb device? and play from that?
just want to let you know, "The Tower of Druaga [todruaga]" is now in the database. (someone else requested it too)
"Very Hard" shown by star in upper left corner
thank you for all your voting!
not yet but I read about it & am downloading now!
Wow, what controller did you use?
thanks for introducing us to Lakka !
this is the only homebrew game I have for the 7800 x)
correction! I scored 75,372... (my error)
it's now corrected :)
no, I haven't used it. Although it is very nicely modded with an RF connector for modern TV's, it also has a bad connection at the power input, and will have to be re-soldered before playing. But this is easy to fix & I'm very happy to have the Coleco Gemini.
I see you're getting some no votes on this score. Users mostly want a little more evidence, especially when the score ranks highly like this. I know it's not a particularly huge score, and so to welcome a new user I'm voting YES, but just FYI, if you get a photo with your name tag it will do much better in the voting.
big score! :)
wow, nice score
Wow, I didn't know you can drop bombs!
wow, I see I actually played this game before the HSC round!
Wow I never saw a picture of that game cartridge !
oh, I get it now!
Yes vote from me :)
I saw "Wave 1" and "Medium" at the beginning. so how is this score for [Wave 2 - Medium] ?
I played Mr Driller and Mr Driller 2 for weeks each and I just kept getting a little better by playing more. but only slow improvement.
don't worry your scores will go through... sometimes it just takes a little while
that's a pretty addicting game!
the small rabbit-holes indicates Difficulty A
I vote on everything so I will do!
welcome to Highscore
I mostly get 80-140k but sometimes above 200, so that's why I think you can get 200,000!
but if I go to the barcade and they have Joust, my goal is 100,000!
I'm gonna vote no I guess.
the top score for this game has a full video and no point-farming.
yeah good version!
nice shootin' !
some atari 2600-compatible systems have inverted difficulty switches for some reason.
examples: Atari 7800 and Sears Video Arcade.
nice... I tried to reach 1 million for years, still never quite did it!
yeah frustrating, lol
not the best version but it's still fun :)
improvement for me, but still falls short of the top 10
oops! thanks guys
how did you respond to me within 1 min. ??
and this score is from 20 days ago, just luck I guess?
but, I don't see my submission for this game.
ha I didn't know this game was on Colecovision!
go for 200k you can do it!
thanks for the votes!
this score isn't a huge one so I don't require video, so voting YES here
this is pretty good evidence for picture-only. not a huge score, not sure why this is getting the no-votes.
maybe people requiring video I guess...
I still haven't figured out how to play this game
nice going, nads!
I'm voting YES even though the video doesn't show the Atari switches in the A position.
One of them has no function and the other one just toggles music on and off. So, the difficulty switches don't matter.
i see it now.
& I see your point, you make a good point. We should really get into requiring better evidence. I remember another guy who made a similar point with a fake maxed-out Ninja Gaiden score.
he didn't get banned but he would have if he hadn't bowed out voluntarily.
he had multiple accounts and was voting for his own scores and giving multiple no-votes & that's what gets people banned.
I don't remember what you did though...
I gotta check this game out.
wow! nice goin'
wow I've never seen that cartridge :D
yeah I thought maybe that's it, looking now it was already :20 for a bit when you start... and just a little into :54 @ end.
your scores are legit!
Voting YES !
I thought it looks like it starts @ 0:20 and ends at 0:54
which would make your time :34 -- is that not right?
anyone not seeing the score, it's at 4:42
just for information's sake,
in this game the Difficulty A setting doesn't make the game necessarily harder, it only adjusts your preference whether your shots come out automatically when holding down the button.
so some (including myself) prefer the (B) setting.
I would not require any better evidence for Galaxian when the settings are (A) difficulty.
I like those Polyvox cartridges! I never got one.
yeah and the face in the video definitely looks like the same guy in the avatar photo so that's just as good as a name in my book.
I think this chart was entered mistakenly.
It should be POINTS, not time.
Mushroom cup / 50cc from start to finish, ALL tracks and the final score (points) is your score.
somehow GAY got this score passed with 100% careless voting...
WOW, yeah great score!
thank you :)
yeah at that point it becomes just a game of patience & endurance.
... which means your score is still a greater feat...
so we'd still like to see your video!
oh nice. x)
I've been realizing jamma is legit arcade hardware. I still don't know why Jamma Pandora boxes have separated charts though.
I like the quarters!
I was reading about JAMMA Pandora Boxes, and it seems to be legit arcade hardware, and not emulation. Does that sound right?
And, do you know why Pandora boxes have separated score charts?
Yes vote here, BTW :)
good pictures but I don't see where it shows what level that was...
wow, this is a slightly different version?
the arcade game normally gives you a score like 53 or 63 or something.
hey that's pretty good evidence for kuku kube, I'm voting yes on this one!
your marp score is 2,435,700 so that doesn't help.
few people will want to download more versions of mame & work on trying to get your inp to run playback.
in the future, if you have the inp, you can play it back and record a video to post here for evidence. That will help your score pass!
pac-man games just beg for a joystick!
wow good run
yep, not emulation.
Crystal Mines on NES ??!
I just gave this a try, after a few runs I hit 11. First time recording I got less than a quarter-lap from the 12 finish line!
tried a bunch more but with no improvement. Good job, it takes sustained focus and I think you're right 12 is probably the max.
good score, but it looks like that's probably a MAME cabinet, right?
shouldn't this be in the emulated category?
ya, good video!
so that's not a MAME machine?
... that's not bubufubu, is it?
looks right to me, good score!
holy crap, fantastic score
great score, that must be a lot of fun! to be able to play Defender like that :)
unfortunately I don't think this photo will get your score onto the scoreboard here, a lot of us will require to see a video with a score like that.
this stuff can get pretty confusing!
just fyi, for Android & iOS games people here are beginning to require some more evidence for scores taking the top position. A photo of your device will help, and definitely a video of the gameplay will get your score accepted. A video would leave no room for mistakes as to whether cheats got used, or whatever people are looking to rule out.
This is madness!
that's a nice lookin screen right there x)
i don't understand the title
I'm wondering, how can I tell that this is "[Arcade Level 1]" and "[Arcade]" ?
probably they just thought the evidence isn't good enough to put it on the scoreboard. I think usually that's the case with no-votes -- voter thinks submitter did earn that score, but votes no based on voter's criteria for what is good enough evidence for a given score/scoreboard.
personally, I vote YES. (it's not a huge score and doesn't beat the top score so I do not require anything more than minimal evidence)
things the voter may have been looking for:
-- some kind of identifying sign that it was Zayd811 who played the game
-- photo rather than screenshot
-- video evidence
i see this submission got a lot of no-votes.
just FYI -- these kinds of games need a little better evidence these days if it beats the top score. Probably just a photo of your device with the score and a name tag in the photo would be good enough.
good evidence as alwys
i don't think I've ever played this :)
yeah I had to do a double-take when I went to submit this x)
Wow, awesome thanks for that!
I still have a box FULL of jittery paddle controllers I was about to give up on...
Moon Patrol's style of graphics in the arcade game, seems a perfect fit for Colecovision!
HAHA I know they're the most frustrating botched controllers ever!!
kind of a genius design, but it needs an off/on switch for centering the joystick, like the Wico controller does.
video not available in usa?
wow, nice run!
cool, I'll remember that...
oh! I see. x)
one of my all-time favorites x)
I thought the idea was PS2 slim emulates PS1 games whereas the PS2 fat plays them with PS1 hardware. I didn't know someone is saying PS2 slim emulates PS2 games.
Also, I thought that atari games emulated on a disc, and played on an Xbox one is atari 2600 emulated (not atari 2600), although for consistency sake we put it under Xbox one category.
kind of like how if you load some emulators onto an original Xbox and play NES and Atari, etc. -- it's emulation.
I'm agreeing it should go under Xbox one category since it comes on an official games collection made for Xbox one.
I just thought it can be moved into that category once it gets requested and made.
Meanwhile, it is an emulated score under an emulated chart, so it seems legit to me in the meanwhile.
cool ichigo, I lived in Michigan for 6 months.
looks legit to me.
voting yes. I think if you submit this same score again (with the same video), it will be accepted. It'll replace your current submission.
in the future you may get a better acceptance rate by also having a sign in the picture in front of the screen, showing your user name.
voting yes (small score)
i hoped you would do that >)
users here usually require some gamer ID in the picture
I don't mind accepting this since it's not taking a high spot on the list, but it looks like it's not going to pass so you might want to re-submit with some more evidence.
hi DakotaKid! just for the record, can you say how many points per bonus life?
Waterborn2o2p scored his 33million with extra lives every 25k. My score was done with extra lives every 20k. so they might need to go on separate charts eventually.
I liked seeing your Pengo score. I've never seen a Pengo arcade machine!
looks like a pretty good version!
so is that a homebrew version? it looks enhanced.
great evidence, as always!
my favorite PC controller is the Saitek P220:
there's one with analog sticks, the P880:
i'm not a fan of the xbox controller for retro games but I also don't like the 4-button pad. the Saitek controllers work great I think.
I vote yes on scores like these but if it smashes the top record I think it should have at least as good of evidence as the top score has. so this score I voted no, sorry!
I trust you made this score tho, peyo! just to be fair I have rules I vote by.
and, it's good to see the Lynx photos, good pictures. I'm still dreaming of getting a lynx. :)
and props to your teammate, that's a good score :)
it's fun to see your systems!
I like that cartridge!
I'm just starting to get more into pinball!
so I'm not very familiar with them & only played a couple of the old Stern tables.
The local arcades here have lots of them but I've been more hooked on the classic video games, like I was in the '80's, so I played a little pinball but never really got into one game.
exception: Funhouse (played a lot of that at a pizza place I worked at)
right, submit under iOS
hey good choice of music! :)
the general consensus here is if it's a collection for a specific console that you can get on a disk, we put it under that console even though it uses emulation.
I can't really vote no though. It is emulation, similar to how some of the flashback scores get posted under emulation, or Virtual Console. It's not incorrect but should maybe get moved to Xbox one category whenever Atari Classics gets added, just to keep scores for the same game in a single chart.
that's how I'm looking at it so I don't mind voting yes.
and it gives you a score, that's great!
3 balls setting, so a little more evidence required in my opinion.
ha yeah it was one of my favorites
Actually played this with 3 balls but the other pics didn't turn out so I don't have evidence,
therefore submitting under 5 balls setting.
i will say that it's personal and I'm very happy about it ;)
yeah that's the way to go lol
yeah new changes happening in my life, but still gaming and still have many evidences waiting to upload!
funny I was just going to ask about the head lamp this time and you answered me first
i tried strapping a phone cam to my head once & it worked ok, but that's bad for the brains!
some will also want to see evidence of the number of balls used on the 3-Ball scores.
funny picture xD
I'm glad to see you're submitting for pinball as well :)
yeah it was called "Action Force."
agreed, props to Coleco for the music in this game!
I remember when I finally figured out about the double jump and suddenly I could get into this game, it was great, like I had a breand new game even though it had been in our box of games for like a year.
I grew up playing this game and all I ever knew is avoid the purple pickles, eat everything else!
oh I see. thanks!
great score man, that game's a doozey
voting yes, but I though you had a better time.
I counted it from: 0:01:01 to 0:15:59
-- which would be about 0:14:58
looks like 84,080 though.
ID is there - you mentioned who you were in the video.
nice one :)
nice, that's a tough score!
great score, nice pictures :)
Si, cheers & beers amigo!
good to see you back!
I think we need a different chart for this, there is already a score submitted and it's from the other Space Raid (which is a more acurate version of Zaxxon):
Maybe this Space Raid should be under the title "Space Raid [Megamania hack]"
I think that game gives you rapid fire automatically.
hey I like that picture!
yeah cool cartrudge!
I don't think I've ever seen that :)
to me that's a good score! that game's really hard for me.
I love the Parker Bros games! they were one of the best for sure :)
You need to plug the Video Touch Pad in the player #2 controller port, and the normal Joystick into player #1.
you'll also need to use the difficulty switches...
to understand the controls check the manual here:
yeah that game'll do that to ya!
one of my favorites back in the day!
yeah it's true I have that same one :)
that was some awesome action between 8:00 & 9:45
Happy Holidays, Oyama!
got it! cheers
great avatar, btw.
Thanks, I love it! my only complaint is the joystick flies off the controller sometimes, not cool. xP
I always prefer to play on a console and this last round HSC were all games I don't have, but they're all 3 on the Flashback.
yeah, I wouldn't worry about it.
this version handles a lot differently than the others I've played. It'll take some getting used to, but I look forward to playing it more.
I don't know. I don't see a problem with notifying people to include their name-tag and you welcomed JML and gave him a welcoming yes-vote. I'm glad when someone tells me what's wrong with my evidence. Everybody's different so maybe some people feel like it sounds rude sometimes. maybe pathebert thought "like everybody else on the site" sounded rude. Or maybe he just prefers to vote with the honor system and give yes votes without identification. Possibly he still has a bad impression from when you yelled at people for voting no.
Anyway it could be lots of things but to me it didn't look like JML had any problem with your comment and he even thanked you for the note.
it looks like your score is actually 6,466.
Lester got 6,740.
wow, pushing the bar once again!
I recognize the sticker!
I use a phone-camera to record my game for rollovers and big scores. If you don't have one a webcam works too and they're pretty cheap (especially used at a thrift store, like maybe $2).
Since you've just arrived, and also since rolling the score in Turmoil isn't too incredible of a feat, AND it's not taking over the #1 spot -- I don't mind voting yes!
yeah this game will put your hand to the test :)
your cartridges are in beautiful shape, wow!
this was one of my favorite games in the '80's
you may have trouble getting a score to pass on Expert/A setting without a video, but since this doesn't beat any current scores it will probably do fine.
and, a yes vote from me!
we use to get them at KayBee :)
to get your score accepted, you will have to submit it with a video or at least a photo of your device with the score & a name tag or something. See the current top score as an example of what will probably work.
and, welcome to HighScore!
heads up, ichigo!
that looks like 57.7
for Merged! scores, users here are now requiring stricter evidence, meaning probably at least a photo with your name tag or something like that. A video would definitely work.
nice game room :)
oh, nevermind I get it.
both runs are in the same video.
what I'm confused about is, it looks to me like the first screen of the game starts t about 0:00:13, and the final message appears at about 0:24:13
so, wouldn't your time be closer to 0:24:00 ?
I guess that is a good time-frame for this game, I'll accept it.
ah, ok. I knew there must be a way!
oh right! next time.
I actually hadn't tried that yet
I think that was intended for you above :)
