That issue is because in mame there is 2 modes for using the keyboard: one for enabling the special keys, and other for emulating 100% the keyboard. For enabling the special keys for the mame internal gui, you need to hit scroll lock, then you can hit tab to show the gui or esc to exit the emu.
Yes, since version 0.180 mame merged with mess, so you can play arcades, consoles, computers and even handhelds...The amstrad support is quite good, but some games crashes or the inputs get disabled sometimes. Give it a try.
Mame, with the cpc6128 rom.

Pues dale caña, si lo practicas no es de los mas difíciles...Aunque la última fase es mas dificil que todas las anteriores, eso es cierto...

It's a pity I didn't remember to pause the game at the end, because the score should be much highest :(
The score for this game is showed when you hit pause. My score is highest than this but I can demostrate it since I don't hit pause anymore. So score achieved at 36:28 :)

The trick for this game is to master the running sliding attack. It makes the life much easier :)
Yes, the two loads are in the same video. I know this is a special game, and it's hard to measure the time...but I'm happy to show it because some people never saw a game like this :)
The key is get the orbs asap, after that, the final bosses are quite easy...
If I tell the truth, I've noticed the total score because you adviced me, I always believed the strength was the score...
So let see what Serious or other admin can do...
I think the strength should be the way to measure the score, since there is the most clearly and visible way even with the class table. Even the golden axe ii from megadrive/genesis measures the strength as you can see in my recent submitted score for that game..
But I don't care, if the admins of this site say to me what you say is correct, I'll erase this score, don't worry.
Final score for the duel mode at 45'10".
Final score for the hard mode at 35'50".

I've send a message by the link "Report a Bug" to the admins requesting to change the name of this game and the others with double load to part 2. Once the change has done, I'll request the part 1 of each game...Righ?
MMMm so I have to do that with all the games I've requested that features two loads...xd
Well. I requested it, and they accepted :)
Submitted score from the 2º load of the game.
The valid score is when the joker hits the ground, not when I enter mi initials because I started the second leg of the game after finishing the first one, and some points were added to my score.
First load completed in 11'34"; Second load completed in 12'12".
Highscore achieved with the euro version: Thunder Force 4
The first time you play the game seems to be easy but, after playing some tries, you realise how hard is to reach the goal in time...
Thanks, this game is hard as hell.
Submitted score from the 2º load of the game. For defeating the final boss, you must stand at the very left of the screen, and his bullets won't hurt you. It's just a programming bug and the only way to defeat this boss. Otherwise he always will kill us...
Score achieved with the parent rom Secret Agent, since I don't find the game entry at the database. If it's nos valid, let me know and I'll delete it.
Ups, this score is for Hang-On Jr, I've just deleted it...sorry :(
High score achieved at min 22:44. From this I just show the alternative paths and endings..
Thanks. About this game difficult, it's really very easy to beat with one credit...keep in mind that with the jumping attack you can defeat any enemy, from the first longmoan to the final Death Adder.
Yes, I've read the rules, but I don't make commentted longplays, trust it or not it's your choice..I like this site, keep the great work :)
All my videos are recorded with the mame/mess emulator. If you look at the video description from youtube, you can see the mame release version and the rom I've played...
