Oh wow, I've never heard of this game. This looks really good. Nice run btw.
Also noticed you have a ton of records behind you? Unless I'm seeing it wrong lol
Good score, nothing out of the ordinary. I have viewed the entire footage provided.
On a side note, I can handle Donkey Kong sounds on the arcade version, but nearly an hour of the NES game nearly drove me insane! Haha!
I think it worked out for what it is. You showed the settings, start of the game, all the game play was clear to see, the death at 7:39 showed the same score as the one you included in the photo. Glad you uploaded that too, that should really help anyone who couldn't see the 460,700 with the final blow.
Nothing leads me to believe there was any fowl play involved. Good score!
I'm so happy when I go to do some voting that I run into video. My first score was this super dodgy USB capture thing. Then moved to filming the TV. Did a few trial runs to find a good position, make sure the sound was clear and all of that, nothing missed. Would be a good idea to give some trial runs a shot.
Excited to see future scores with your recording adjustments
Never knew there was an Odyssey 2.. Pretty cool looking. Typically I perfer video, but it works for me. Nice one!
If anyone watching this spotted how insane the dodging was in the begining, it's even better as it goes on.
This is nuts. THIS is what a score is about. That is some fantastic play. The music really helped get though this one, but it was also entertaining to watch such skilled play.
That was like watching a demo program, or a machine playing. Clearly a player who has put in some serious time to learn every bit of this game. I know, I could go on and on. That was nuts. That was so VIP it's redicilous
Great score!
I figured it was! I love building control panels. The one in my profile pic is one. Only in that pic is missing the plexi over the art. What kind of internals do you use? All arcade hardware?
I can go higher then the 150k for Medium >:D Some borning play, then it's board wipe city for perfect clears when you have 200 lines in the mix! Hehe.
So something I want to mention, this does not seem to be a valid score to this catagory. The #1 score is on the Beginners board
I just realised on your other submission you said the #2 spot you posted was played on easy but the rest were on normal. Each difficulty in Puchi Carat has it's own high score list, they don't show begineer, medium and expert togeather.
Each difficulty changes the paddle size, easy being very large but only 50 lines, with medium smaller sized paddle with 200 lines.
You recorded on your iPad and are trying to upload to dropbox then? What was the error messege? First thing I would do is search that and see what others did when they had that issue.
Can you plug the iPad into the PC and transfer the video right off of it and upload it?
For me on the first one was that stupid ezgrabber software, but the other two I filmed with a GoPro, just popped the microSD card in my computer, upload to YouTube. That's what I do.
Saving the 500k play for later Submission for exactly what score is played, and initials entered for.
Last two images considered quick reference, screencapped from video and less fuzzy in the video due to screen flicker.
Shown in video:

Yeah man defenatly understand how that goes, staying exactly around there with the 10-20k then hitting where you should be.
I've lost some pretty good ones recently because the camera died haha!
Glad you went for it. I take into account other scores and evidence and put peices togeather before voting. I mostly posted that for anyone else coming to this who might be questioning it, not to sway opnion (of course it happens) but to point out a few things they might miss
I laughed when I first only saw the first image, like uh oh... You submitting an 80 point score? ^_^
I'm really curious about that Easy setting at the start. Like how submissions for this would work, depending on what that difficulty function really does. I play on [Normal] in settings then do difficulty in the game (Easy - Medium - Expert). To be honest I'm not sure it does anything.
Good one though! Voting yes, I know continues wipe the score so it's no problem without video on this to me. Would be nice though, cause I'de love to see how you play! I used to spend so much time and money on this just praticing trick shots.
But so you know, you just declared war with that Medium score >:D I'll be taking this one, and I've got something for that Medium too!!
Awww haha! Oh no! Yeah defenatly needs streamlining. Great base is in place from what I can see so far though ^_^
I didn't play beginner it was medium, I clicked over to beginner to show '50 lines' then to medium to show '200 lines' then selected medium.
It's a step up for hardcore Arkanoid players IMO ^_^ Like Arkanoid / Space Invaders
Settings good, play is good. No score jumps, no continues, no skipped parts, seamless video. After Game Over, initials set to game reset and menu.
It's a good one ^_^
Nothing looked out of the ordinary here. At first I questioned the flawless inputs on some moves, then I started seeing common input mistakes for this one, it was defenatly played.
I tried to really break down why the legit percentage is so low. I wonder if the entire video was viewed. Or perhaps someone didn't like the "cheesing" as I can think of some who might consider some of this that kinda play. No matter the ranged work, everything in between showed that it was not nuckleheaded play.
I even watched it twice, as I wanted to be sure I was not missing something that someone else had seen.
I think part of your problem might have been the fact the video was edited to trim it down in length, which seems like you were trying to do a service to those judging, sparing them the extra cut scenes and such, however with each cut there were no score jumps.
I think it's good, and it gets my vote.
In fact, it made me want to go up against you (versus, not score).
Defenatly should include a peice of paper or a card with your initals in the photos. Typically I don't vote on anything without video, but it looks legit to me.
Shows cart/system, switches in correct position. All rules followed on this one. Legit score :)
That paddle is too funny. Man that's nuts. That's a really sweet spot too! Nice one
That is a pretty good score score.
I'm against pausing myself, as it allows a person to recouperate or compose themselve. But the pause happened at the very start of the round at least, so the resume is easy to follow and wouldn't allow any creative editing.
Watched the whole video, it's good in my book ^_^ it's at least a believeable reason, I've seen quite a few of your runs and have no reason to believe you did it to take a breather (when in fact it sounds like the opposite).
Hey, I think you uploaded a wrong photo for your evidence.
Have two screens of the same thing, player select. No showing of your score! Comment on this when you get it sorted and I can vote, I say comment so I get the notification that you updated it ^_^
Good one again
Huh. Just noticed the HXC Floppy Emulator. I've got one on one of my samplers. Those are great.
Nice one Frankie!
There are quite a LOT of arcade compliations for PS2. Good list here: http://www.usgamer.net/articles/The-Best-Arcade-Machine-is-Your-PlayStation%202
Oops, wanted to mention.

Better video this time, no more USB capture. It was especially annoying doing this because I did a 150k score and thought, yeah I feel alright pushing this score. But my stick (in profile picture) died.. And I really struggle with a controller on these games.
But I landed (only..) two trick shots.
I really never wanted to just toss out medicore scores for the heck of it, but this is an okay benchmark till I get a new encoder board or just pad hack a controller.
Good score! That was a good watch. This is my top favorite football sim for this era of machines!
Oh wow, good one!
You should use FRAPS or something to start recording these runs :)
You should pull this down and repost it, you added an extra zero! :)
Sorry but without evidence of you being brave and trying again...
Only joking Good score
All evidence in the video, stuck with the rules, orginal hardware, no other devices plugged it. Good score.
Would have been my words the first and third deaths haha! That few minutes had the pressure on me and I'm not even the one playing I used to be so ill at the R-Type games. Makes me want to play them all the more >:D
Electromechanical pins are incredibly difficult to fudge the numbers on too. The tilt mechs in these are interesting too. Understandable why they don't allow nudging, these things are becoming very valuebul living peices of history.
Great score!
Even though I could not see the gameplay, this was clearly in a public location on a non-private machine with access to settings, and absolutely nobody is going to set a score and let someone walk up, enter their initials and say on camera that it was them.
Gets my vote.
That is a solid score on a great pin! Not sure if you have seen it but there is a mini-documentary on the design and build of this :)
Accidently sent the messege, I see this score is for the 5 Ball Count. My appologies ^_^ All good.
Curious about the ball count on this table. I see it says 5, is that the standard ball count for Big Shot? On a previous score I saw you were using a standard 3 ball set.
So kidding? That was really solid for not being very good! Of course who say they aren't very good, aren't terrible and those who say they are great are awful usually Haha!
This is a good example of a skilled run, with good timing by a player who really knows the game. Nothing out of place or unusual, Good evidence. CIearly shown with a single credit, and only that single credit used.
I feel comfortable giving this a yes vote.
What a death. It was just as you were going to move forward. Quarter theif there!
I didn't realise the game takes place in a sink till you completed the first level haha!
And I have a feeling every time I click next, it's going to be an OG score on Midway Arcade Treasures You were on a score killing spree with this one!
Good video, no continues with continue clock run down and shown, clear by play that no cheats were used. Initials valid to website and other scores posted.
Good cautious play on that one well done!
Clearly shows game being inserted with no additional devices, score easily identifiable. No continues, done on single credit. At game over screen, countdown to continue shown with 'GAME OVER' selected recycling to the start showing high score -- same as shown during final death in game play, current score of 0 shown along with it. Seamless video, with no edits.
Clear evidence of a legitimate score.
Great run by the way, I felt it too at the end, that one fateful shot! Haha. Good stuff!
Good score for sure
Multi-Cart is such a blessing. So many games are skyrocketing in price, even for the MVS now.
My main issue is using a subpar computer for capture. Did a test run on my gaming rig with the VC500 recording and it was fine.
Smart setup!
My TV has a total of 6 video inputs, with L/R inputs for audio on each, then a single video and L/R RCA output jacks. So I can run all my systems on one tv which is great, but to play through my receiver and speakers, I ran all the systems into an audio mixer to one input on the receiver.
So much easier when I only have to change my video select :) Plus the receiver doesn't have enough inputs for all the systems.
I take high scores very searously. So I sat down and watched the footage in it's entirety, and without any doubt is legit. I know this game and the speed at which the player runs and fires, the damage taken and loss of life are all solid, including enemy hits taken.
On a personal note, that is the most impressive Contra run I have ever seen. That score is insane. It's clear to me that you really know this game! :) Well done!
I've got the PS2 going into the TV and the TV's Video Out to the USB Capture device. Audio is going into a mixer and out of the mixer into the USB capture also. No noticeable lag when in the preview window on the computer, only after I view the recorded video do things not look so great.
Thanks so much Derek It's funny because when I was watching the playback I kept thinking about how undisputibly perfect your recording was. And you just happened to be the one that inspired me to go for a score in Section Z!

It's the idea of being watched that puts the pressure on you for sure! Recording/Uploading is pretty simple, just having the tools that work properly is annoying. I was almost tempted to pull my rig out from my room and bring it in here so this awful Diamond VC would hopefully work a bit better.
There are some inexpensive one click USB capture devices out there that will work better at least, should check em out sometime!
Thanks for the welcome, I'm really excited about it. I really like this setup here
That was a good watch. That Bison match was ruthless. You read him right in round 1 but he came with it. Intense score to watch, well done!
This was intense to watch, very well done. In the few minutes I saw how precicely your evasion was, and I was leaning over almost like it was me playing. Soon as that one hit you, I said the same thing as you.
Great evidence by the way. You showed the game being put in, system turned on, settings selected, and at the end let the continue timer run down completely. Transparency like this is great.
First one so far I've been able to give a vote to with confindence.
Hey thanks so much! Next one attempt I'm going to try and film with the rear camera of the Surface 3 instead of the VC500.
It's wild, because as soon I hit record and know I'm filming it and going to submit it, my nerves start to get to me. Before the first death I was all over the place, soon as I died, I said to myself, "Okay, calm down and focus". Then I did much better
I made sure to record all approperate game screens, such as resetting the game to show it was a fresh start, and letting the continue timer run to 0 and reset after entering initials. I felt like especially since this is my first score submission, and I've just joined today this was especially important.
Maybe from now on I will setup a camera to record viewing the system and the TV rather then capture going forward.
Quite possibly the worst setup you guys will hear of on here, so please if you have any suggestions let me know on how I can record better gameplay.

Also, congraduations on the #1 spot
