Very good! Yes vote!
This is really a great result! Well done! Voting yes!
Yes vote! ... Awesome score!
First vote and it's a: JA! :-)
Nice one! Yes vote!
Mark, is this game 1 or 2? Game category indicates game 2 but photo and your notepad say 1. Skipping!
Well done! ... Yes on ALL!
I'll try it out next time! Thanks! :-)
Omar, do you mean: 'Roar, roar, roar, UP!!! Roar, roar, roar! Bam, scramble, dash!'?
Successful run starts at 11:48'. Game 3 selected before each attempt. Avatar and switch settings can be seen in the beginning and the end of the video. Final score at 14:17'. Thanks for viewing!
This game is currently played on atariage.com. Are you on there too?
Awesome device that! ... Great score also!
Ah, another new game on Amiga (released 2018!)! ... Yes vote!
JML= Jedi Master Luke? I was always wondering what it stands for! ;-) ... Yes vote of course!
Is it even possible to play this game WITHOUT bouncing up n down to its music? This game is so funny it hurts! xD
Great score! I would have joined the score run on atariage.com but I don't have this game! Yes vote!
A truely strange pinball game! ... Yes vote!
Yes vote! :-)
I use a Sega Megadrive/Genesis controller for my SMS2 console. As it's also 9 pin it works. First I tried an Atari joystick but I wasn't aware that 2 buttons are needed! xD I can also imagine that an SMS controller would be more comfortable for some games on Atari 2600!
First yes! :-)
De nada mi amigo! :-)
Welcome to highscore.com! The picture of the light sixer convinced me that this isn't emulated! Well done and yes vote!
Yes vote! I like this version much better than the one on Colecovision!
Omar, I think you accidentally entered the preset 1st ranked score (initials are TAK). I think you're the score in 3rd place of the highscore table (initials are OFP). Skipping!
AWESOME!!! Yes vote!
I like this game but still need to get used to its controls! Yes vote!
Avatar and console seen in the beginning of the video. Played at default settings (difficulty easy). Final score seen at 8:40' to 8:46'. Thanks for looking!
You may want to set your initials to match initials entered for a score! ... No problem as your user name is in the text box and you took a photo of the screen! Well done!
I like that you took a photo of the screen instead of a screenshot! The textbox with your user name and information about the emulator is a good idea! Yes vote and welcome here!
Danke, C72! :-)
I remember I've played this game lots at a friend's but don't recall the gameplay now! Just seeing the name and the picture ring a bell! ... A big YES!
Yes vote! Great time! ... Mhhh, I'll have a look whether I can get this game too!
Yes vote! I like your collection of consoles! And the awesome TV!
Again, this is a nice story you're tellling! ... I've never been to the USA although since childhood I was fascinated about its people, history, culture and many places in different states! This fascination was nurtured by literature, (pop) culture and especially movies. It's only equalled by my fascination about the UK (where I lived for quite a while). Maybe one day a dream comes true and I visit the USA! Only problem is there are so many interesting places that I wouldn't know where to start! ;-)
Optically it may not be very appealing but on the plus side the SMS2 console has a game built in and it uses less space due to its more compact dimensions. ... I have to defend the poor thing a little bit now! ;-)
Thanks for all! :-)
C'mon, Omar! It's your turn now!
Yeah, the old space issue! xD
Ha, ha! That came straight from the heart! xD You could bring it as a topic, like: 'What do you think are the 3 most beautiful and the 3 ugliest consoles?'
Nice one, JES!
Yes vote! ... I didn't have much success with games like Defender or Chopper Command so far too! I've never played this game! Is it a ZX Spectrum exclusive title?
Improving my PB!
Avatar, console, cartridge shown in beginning and end of the video. I show switches too but they don't have any effects in this game. Selection of game 4 shown from 0:12' to 0:16'. Closeup of final score at 13:36'. Thanks for looking!
Welcome to highscore.com! Yes vote!
Yes vote! Nice score!
The game is good, but more difficult than I thought! Well, at least it's a start!
Set goal to beat it? Yes, set goal! ... Done! Now off to playing it! :-)
Great game! I have it on Amiga! Yes vote!
Nice improvement! Yes vote!
Ja Stimme! Gut gemacht! :-)
Awesome score! Voting yes!
Thank you, Evandro! :-)
Yes vote! Nice score! :-)
Vanguard was one of my favorite games as a kid! If I remember correctly it's the first multi directional shooter!
Setting a new benchmark here, eh? ;-) ... Do you know what license 'a', 'd', 's', etc. means?
Many thanks, Mark! :-)
I've recently got this on cartridge for the Sega Master System console. I was planning to play it a bit more. However I'm saying this for other games too! ;-) ... Yes for your score!
Yes here! ... It's a relatively new Amiga game as I just learned on the internet! I even watched a gameplay video. The game looks really good!
I've played it on Dreamcast a couple of times! Good call that you requested Arcade mode! What's the difference between arcade and original mode again?
I've got a european model 2 SMS console. It has only one game built in: Alex the Kidd in Miracle World. Others come with Sonic the Hedgehog built in. The SMS games I got on cartridge are Double Dragon, Bonanza Brothers and Forgotten Worlds.
Thanks, Bamse! :-)
Good idea! I'm looking forward to your high score submissions!
Avatar and settings shown in the beginning and end of video. Successful run starts at 2:52min. Final score shown at 3.34min. Thanks for looking!
Thanks for joining me on this score board! :-D Good scores for the start! The competition will improve our efforts further I'm sure!
Avatar and difficulty settings shown in beginning and end of video. Game 5 selected before each attempt. Successful run starts at 5:30min. Thanks for looking!
Yes vote! Nice score!
Yes vote! Awesome score!
I'm skipping for now! In your photo voters will look for a name tag with your user name on it or for matching initials. Providing these in your submissions helps voters to identify that the score is actually achieved by you. ... It's nice to have a new user so welcome to highscore.com! I hope you're getting into things here alright! If you have any questions feel free to ask folks here! Happy posting!
GREAT score!!! I need to get this game too! Yes here!
Beamrider is a highly recommended game I never played! Looking out for it! ... Yes vote!
Crystal clear! Thanks! :-)
Wow, nice and shiny 6er! :-) What repairs were needed? I have a couple of maintenance and repair projects myself. ... Big yes for your Dig Dug score of course!
Difficult game, isn't it? I played it on Playstation 2 Midway Arcade Treasures. It jangled my nerves a bit too! ;-) I like it anyway! ... How did you manage to film gameplay in arcade?
Ja, es ist super! Eine gute Portierung von der Dreamcast! Danke nochmal für das Geschenk! :-)
Wait, I think your score is 34,100! Look at Kernzy's and S.Baz' scores in the game's highscore table. Compare the 3 and 8 in each score. The 2 digits do look a bit similar but if you look closely you'll see. I nearly missed it myself! 8-) Skipping my vote!
Thanks a lot indeed! ... BTW today on the boot sale, I saw a run down Intellivision next to a grubby Atari 2600 console! Looked like real missions to me, so I bought them!
Reminds me that I got this game on cartridge! However I have a couple of new games and it takes time to get into them! ... Yes of course!
Yes vote! ... Nice score!
Hang on, do you mean like King's Quest, Space Quest and Police Quest? These are the Sierra adventures I know and they're great!
Many thanks! :-)
Mark, some of the platforms are not included indeed, but the search should show results for the Playstation 2 both authentic and emulated (only original mode, not arcade mode). You can also try 'advanced search' type 'Crazy Taxi', choose platform Playstation 2 and then 'show only games without scores'!
Nice score! Yes vote!
Table starting score! Scores submitted for Crazy Taxi on other platforms don't show the small change so I left it out too.
Nice setup of evidence! Yes vote! ... I also like your stories about the Atari sales! :-)
Thanks for your votes, Mark! ... I can imagine that you put that controller on your wishlist. It sounds cool!
Game selection from 0:16min. Successful run from 1:05min. Thanks for looking!
Ja! ... Gutes Spiel! Könnte ich auch mal wieder spielen!
First yes vote! Nice score!
Thanks a lot! :-)
Game selection from @ 0:08min, successful run starts @18:24min, close-up of final score @ 25:51min. Thanks for looking!
You're welcome, Mark! ... I remember the first time I saw Defender II on Atari 2600! My brother and me was at a friend's who had it: The awesome laser beam of the space ship! The star gate beaming! The aliens! ... Seeing scores for great games here often brings back memories!
I wonder how many versions of Battlezone on how many platforms there are! It's a great game, so it's no surprise there's lots! ... Yes vote!
Game selection @ 0:11min, final score @ 6:19min. Thanks for looking!
Yes, that are the two I know of. I never played Midnight Magic though. Video Pinball on Playstation 2 compared to the original feels like playing a different game (not in a good way!).
Wow, that was a lot of racing scores! Yes on all!
I played it a lot on Atari 2600 but it was never one of my favorite games. ... Thanks for your vote! :-)
Waiting for you to join in, Omar! This is difficult to play with a game pad! Apart from this it feels quite similiar to Battlezone on Atari Flashback 3.
Yes vote! ... I read the article about the development of Froggie with the Pokey chip on Atariage.com! It's fascinating that there's still new games being made for this console!
Yeah, it's good value for money! Did you get your Activision Anthology on Playstation 2 yet? ... Thanks for your vote!
Yes here! Nice improvement!
Yes vote! ... Ist das Spiel gut?
You should've seen it before it had the works! ;-) Thanks for your vote!
I would have thought that a Sega Megadrive/Genesis controller works on all Atari 2600 and 7800 with joystick controls as it's all 9-pin!? The other way around wouldn't work as of the limited active buttons on Atari joysticks.
All Sid Meier games are great! The Civilization series is also hugely popular!
Yes vote! ... This game is probably much better when you play it at Christmas time ... not! xD
And yes votes on all of them! ... I've never heard of this game before I saw your scores for it here! Checking out availability I realised that it appears to be a US only release!
Mark, sorry, but there's a little mistake here! Your score is 24,050. The 4 is funny shaped and it can easily be misread as a 9. At first on some other game with these digits I also had trouble telling them apart. However if you look up the other boards for Defender there are scores with 4s and 9s to compare. Skipping voting!
Yes on all! ... I finally had time to play Pirates! on Amiga today! Took me a good part of the day to complete! Not as good as your score but it was great fun to play again!
Yes vote! ... Well played!
Well done! Yes vote!
Nice one! Yes of course!
Yes vote! ... Good score!
Many thanks! I playing this for most part of the day today! Time well spent I'd say! ;-)
Yes vote! ... HUGE score!
Yes vote! ... Great score!
Voting yes on both your pinball scores!
Well done! Yes vote!
Good to hear that you managed to hook up your Atari 7800 console! Looking forward to your new Atari 2600 & 7800 scores! Yes vote for this one! :-)
Avatar, console, cartridge and settings shown in the beginning and the end of the video. Successful run starts at 9:22min. Thanks for looking!
Yes on all!
Improving my PB! Successful run starts at 0:44min. Thanks for looking!
Voted yes on all! ... The pictures look somewhat familiar so I think I may have played the game myself (a long time ago)! ;-)
Many thanks! ... Welcome to highscore.com! It's nice to see another user from NRW here! Your avatar suggests we'll see some fresh Atari 2600 scores here soon, right?
Many thanks! ... let's see how long it lasts! I invite everybody to beat it! ... The score may not appear as a big one but it was ststill very hard to achieve due to terrible controls! This game should play much better on the Jakks Atari TV Paddle console, but hey! everybody will have the same challenge here!
^^ I'm trying again some day, but so far I'm quite happy with my 84K!
Each level has a different musical tune don't it? ... Yes as always!
Thanks, thedarkbanshee for finding out about the difficulty settings in the first place!
Pressing the select button and directions left and right allows to switch between difficulty settings (see directions shown in video and photo). In the video before starting the game I switch the paddle a couple of times from large to small to show the difference between the difficulty settings: normal (large paddle) and expert (small paddle). Successful run starts at 4:50min. After conclusion of the game I show the paddle difference again for easy identification that I achieved the score with the small paddle. Thanks for looking!
Welcome! Yes here!
HUGE score! Congratulations!
Awesome score! ... Voting yes!
Thanks! ... Do you want to join in? It's a fun little game!
Awesome score! An epic battle for the top spot!
Welcome to highscore.com! ... It's great to see more Amiga scores here! :-) ... Mark gave you good advise! Thanks for including the photo with the Amiga 1200 console! ... Here's another yes vote!
Thanks, Mark! ... I'll go and have a look for your new score now!
There's a spiked trap I didn't figure out how to pass yet. Well, at least an improvement of my PB! :-)
Awesome score!!! Yes vote!
Thanks for letting me know! I'll check it out!
Voting yes! ... Great score!
XD ... Them demons never do!
I like Demon Attack! Yes on all!
Yes on ALL!
Great score! ... Yes here!
Must get it too! I love Activision games!
Great score, BM! Yes vote!
Great score! Yes vote!
Cheers mate! :-)
Nice score! ... Yes vote!
Mark, are you still also playing games on the real Atari 2600? I saw many of your old scores here but as far as I remember no recent ones.
Congratulations! Absolutely awesome score! I love this table!
Concluding from the list of games Activision Anthology is a great compilation and I'll get it if I can find it at a good price. Atari Anthology also includes great names but so far I find some don't play and feel like the originals. It's still worth having for the competition here on HS! So the answer to your question is: get both! ;-)
Why am I not surprised? ;-)
First time I see a Jakks Pacific paddle console! It looks great! Your score too! ;-)
Huge score! Well done!
Great game, great score! Yes vote!
Switch settings and avatar shown in the beginning of the video. Successful run starts at 12:08min.
A combination of Frogger and Q*bert sounds just like my kind of game! ;-)
Why not? I'd love to see some new authentic Atari 2600 scores from you! ... Yes vote!
Nice set up of evidence! I don't think I ever played this game but I'm considering to buy it!
I remember Ninja Gaiden. Don't know which system I played it on back then, probably Amiga.
Jakks Pacific Atari TV Joystick console, unchanged settings (default) and avatar shown in the beginning of the video. Successful run starts at 1:18min.
Very similiar to Double Dragon, isn't it? I didn't know this game. It looks good! ... Yes vote of course!
Omar, I will be no match for you! Maybe if I practise more. However I was never good at this game! Last time my brother visited me, the game caught his attention. He used to be very good at Double Dragon! Maybe I can convince him to play and post here again!
Evidence looks good to me! Settings match those in Frankie's video (beginner seems to be default). The other scores don't even have video. Congratulations! Yes vote!
Interesting way to ID your score! Good idea especially when there's little light in the room! I've seen your PS3 console in one of your other scores! ... Yes here!
Ha, ha! Double Dragon again! This game appears on so many platforms!
Good competition for top spot! Yes vote!
Thank you! :-)
Yes it would be time as I'm about to lose my top spot in Boulderdash! I also recently played Castlevania Adventure on Gameboy. A game I used to play loads as a kid! Only now I find it more difficult! XD
Nice one, Omar!
User name is written on the paper sign above the TV! Yes vote! Nice score!
Welcome to highscore.com! Great score! In your video you show the console and there is a sign on the TV (I saw in your other post that your user name is on there)! I'm voting yes! :-)
It took me a couple of attempts to get this score! Successful run starts at 23:45min. Switch settings can be seen in the beginning and the end of the video. Thanks for looking!
Thanks a lot!
Game selection from 0:15'. Final score shown from 2:16'
Well done! Yes vote!
Fühlt sich ganz anders an als das Original, oder? Die Flipperarme sind vergleichsweise langsam, was etwas frustrierend ist. Gut gemacht!
Game 5 is quite a challenge, eh? Well done! First yes!
Yes vote! ... Good score!
Well done! ... Yes vote!
I think there is also a PAL SMS console where Sonic the Hedgehog is built in. I'm not completely sure though.
Many thanks, Mark!
Same here: yes and great competition! :-)
Yes vote! What a competition for the top spot!
Thanks, Omar! :-)
Welcome to highscore.com! Great score! My vote is yes! It's clear to see that ARA stands for your user name aralani. In your account you may want to additionally set your initials to ARA. If you can't leave initials in a game you can include in the photo a piece of paper with your user name on. Also consider voting for other users' scores to collect points and to participate.
This game looks good! Awesome score!
Thanks, Omar! I have 3 carts so far: Double Dragon, Bonanza Brothers and Forgotten Worlds. The console also has Alex Kidd in Miracle World built in.
It is the second model! It has only one game built in. The other SMS games I own are Double Dragon, Bonanza Brothers and Forgotten Worlds. I have very little experience with this system.
Sorry about the bad video quality! I didn't have much time as later some friends come over for a pen & paper role playing night! Beer is chilled and snacks prepared!
Console and avatar shown in the beginning. No cartridge as game is built in console. Score shown at 4:50min. Thanks for looking!
Console and avatar shown in the beginning. No cartridge as the Sega Master System 2 has this game built in. Score shown at 4:50'. Thanks for looking!
8-o You finished that final boss real quick!!! Great score, yes vote!
Well done: Weltmeister! ;-)
Correct, switch settings have no effect! Good score!
Nice new scores! Yes on all!
Amiga fever forever! ;-) ... Many thanks!
Great, bring it on! :-)
It's much more fun if there's a crowd competing for the high score! So you're right, we need at least 3! ;-) ... Come on all, join the action! :D
Eddie, the score on screen appears to be different to the submitted one. Maybe the wrong picture? Skipping voting...
Many thanks, Bamse!
Game 6 selected in the beginning of the video. Switch settings, my avatar and final score shown from 3:05min.
Omar, I thought your score for this game looked so lonely! Now it has some company!
(Game 4 selected in the beginning of the video. Switch settings, my avatar and final score shown from 3:00min.)
Yes vote! ... Skillfully played!
Well done! Voting yes!
Well done, Omar! One of my all time favorite games!
It's been a while since I played this! I've got Pirates on original Xbox but the Amiga version is the best!
Great! I just saw that some of your previous scores are for the Atari 2600! It's my favorite system! :-)
At first I was confused as the title of the game is different to the one on the screen. I looked it up and now I know it's the first game of two on Pinball Jam: Elvira and the Party Monsters! All correct! ... Great score! Yes vote!
Awesome! Your video is even featuring a Donkey Kong board game! ... Great score also! ;-)
I got 4 games so far: Alex the Kidd (built in), Double Dragon, Bonanza Brothers and Forgotten Worlds.
Yes vote! ... My Sega Master System is now set up and I have 4 games so far: Alex the Kidd (built in), Double Dragon, Bonanza Brothers and Forgotten Worlds.
Awesome score! Yes of course!
Awesome score! ... Yes vote!
Thanks for clarifying! Yes on all!
Yes! ... Nice one!
It's really difficult to estimate the height of flying objects in this game (including the own spaceship's). Additionally there are barriers that are not easy to pass. I guess these two aspects of the game lead to some frustration! At least it felt that way last time I played it! ;-)
I've always been very bad at playing Space Invaders! Really stressful when the aliens start to move quicker! xD ... Well done!
Well done, SCP! :-)
Gute Idee so ein Computer Club! :-) ... Yes vote for all!
I like Atari 2600 Bowling! Good score!
Nice setup of evidence! Great score!
I'd like to vote yes on all your scores. I don't doubt that you achieved them. However did you play them on an authentic NES console or is it emulation? Maybe I missed something but I can't tell from the video. Skipping for now!
Well done! ... Game 5 is really difficult! And I thought I had a good score! xD I have to try harder!
Wow Mark, I checked out your list! Awesome! ... I am interested in homebrew games, but I don't own any as of now. A while ago I watched zeropage's video (currently placed No. 1) and I knew that Wall Jump Ninja is just my kind of game!
Willkommen bei highscore.com! ... Voting yes!
Nice setup of evidence! Yes vote!
My most wanted homebrew game! :-)
This is actually a very helpful review of the game! Many thanks! :-)
I'm looking for an Atari Jaguar since I first saw it! However it's really expensive! Must be because of its limited release (~300,000 units) ... or because of its great looks! Or both! :))
Yeah it looks great! I was just joking! Correct is to say: a robot lawn mower looks a bit like an Atari Jaguar! :-)
The Atari Jaguar looks a bit like a robot lawn mower! ;-) ... I like it, great score also!
You really like your fighting games, Omar! ;-) I'm rubbish at most games of this genre. I remember my brother beat me nearly every time at Toshinden Battle Arena II on Playstation! He would pick any character and I didn't stand a chance with my favorite one!
Nice score! Yes of course!
I was always curious about this game, but so far never played it. ... Voting yes!
Thanks, Mark! I'll go and check it out! ... There are two local game shops here. One is also a Gamestop. Their oldest games there are PS2. I was telling the guy working there about highscore.com to describe what kind of games I'm interested in. He looked a bit stunned and didn't really have a clue and definitely not the vintage games I'm interested in. The other shop is not a chain and around since over 30 years. It's still run by the same guy. He does sometimes have Atari 2600 games but (other than me) locally he doesn't seem to have many customers for them. Nowadays he's heavily focussing on online trade. The nearest retro game shop is in Appeldoorn/The Netherlands and there's one in Dusseldorf.
:-) Good luck finding one! I'm looking for it myself. I have a Super Gameboy for my SNES console to play GB games on TV but there are so many good GBA games also! It's better for me old eyes to play them on the big screen! 8-)
Wow, you're a real philosopher! And you describe the sense of nostalgia really well! I probably gotta read this a couple of times to fully understand it though! XD ... And don't worry, I really enjoy my trips down memory lane but also the present time and life ('das Hier und Jetzt' if you allow a philosophical German term)!
Yeah, I learned that only recently myself. As far as I know all the 3rd party adapters and devices to run original GBA, NES and SNES games are systems that emulate the respective authentic systems. That means the game's data is processed in a similiar but not same way as running them in original hardware. Sometimes that effects the game speed or other aspects of gameplay. The Super Retro Advance is powered by the SNES console but is basically its own system. That's why the AV cables are directly connected to the device and not the console. Same applies to other devices to run NES games on a SNES console or whole consoles running original games, like the Retron77.
Unfortunately this would need to be posted in the GBA emulated category. The Super Retro Advance is a device that emulates GBA hardware and therefore games run on it are emulated. Opposed to this a Gameboy Player for the Gamecube console would be real GBA hardware. That's why it is allowed under the rules as an exception to a GBA handheld console. There are sometimes great differences in gameplay between authentic and emulated. I hope you don't mind me saying and that this is helpful! :-) I'm skipping voting!
But then sometimes it's the other way around: as a kid I was very good at Spiderman on Atari 2600. Now when I play it it feels I lost the knack of it!
Selection of game 5 in beginning of video, close-up of console and cartridge at 4:25' (in Berzerk switch settings have no effect), final score at 4:40'. ... Watch out for Evil Otto! He's a jumping smiley but if you're not quick he'll toast you! Thanks for looking!
Well done! ... Voting yes!
I'm taking my hat off! ... Funny, I got the same green Gameboy Color! I need to find it as for some reason I'd like to play Boulder Dash! ;-)
Awesome score! Yes vote!
Great score! Congratulations!
My favourite 3 pinball tables are Arabian Nights, Theatre of Magic and Addams Family!
Nice scores, Mark! I bet the event was great!
Good score! ... Yes vote!
Good score! Yes vote!
Great game from a great compilation for GBA! :-)
Welcome to Highscore.com! :-) ... Yes vote!
Yeah, I bet you do! You got the max points out of it! :-o
Yeah, I can imagine that a rotary knob would work better! I can't believe I have missed out on this game before!
MisterVCS, now I know what you meant when you said 'Obelix wave is crazy'! ;-) ... Happy New Year!
The game is totally bonkers! I like it! ^^
I like this game! Great action, very intense! It's relatively new to me so I'm still learning to navigate the Enterprise! ;-)
The tech data of my TV quotes that NTSC playback is possible via AV. However I'm not sure whether this is relevant at all.
Many thanks! ... Happy New Year to you too!
Yeah, you're right! All those dedicated and emulation consoles feel a bit different. Sometimes that's frustrating but then it's kind of a challenge to tackle that. There's nothing like the real thing that's clear! ... I wonder whether a plug & play that I order from the US would work on a PAL TV. I heard some TVs run NTSC also. I gotta do some research into this unless you know?
Thanks for the film tip! :-) ... Voting yes! Happy New Year!
Yes vote! ... Happy New Year!
Everytime I see a score from this console I'd like to have it too. ;-) ... Well done!
Yes vote! ... Frohes neues Jahr! :-)
Arkanoid! Great game I used to play it (if I remember correctly) on a friend's C128D. I'm looking forward to a score from you!
Cheers, matey! :-)
Excellent, yes vote!
Many thanks, Mark! ... I'll have a look for your new score now!
First New Year's Atari 2600 scores here on Highscore! Yes on all! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Successful run starts at 5:23'. Highscore table shown at 8:10' (my initials are 'RR' this time as game only allows 2 letters). Final score shown again at 8:45'. Thanks for looking!
Congratulations to your Demon Attack special trophy! It looks awesome! ... Happy New Year!
Yes on all! ... Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Mark! ... Yes vote!
Feliz Año Nuevo mi amigo
NICE score! Yes vote!
Thanks! Pixel designed it myself, printed and glued it on a beermat! ;-)
Omar, yes vote! The video shows the score. I think you posted the wrong pic though...
Thanks Mark, that's good to know! I go and check this out soon!
I like Centipede! Relentless action and great fun! ... Yes vote!
I looked this game up in case I get my Megadrive console repaired. However this game wasn't released in Europe.
Beep beep! ;-)
I'm so curious about all those homebrew games out there! ... Yes vote of course!
I played this table on the PS4 console. Well done!
Yes, I think Retron consoles are considered hardware emulation! The same applies to adapters running NES games on an SNES console. That's why they aren't allowed in the authentic SNES category and games played on them would need to be posted under SNES emulated. There are exceptions with the following adapters for Gameboy/GBA games though: the Super Gameboy adapter for the SNES console and the Gameboy Player for Gamecube don't emulate the system. They allow original games to be played on original hardware. ... I hope I remember this all correctly!
It's been brought up in the discussions area a while ago. I hope the following helps: http://www.highscore.com/discussions/topic/retron-77/1130
Yeah, good choice of game! ... The sound when you get fried is quite startling, isn't it? What platform you playing it on?
Thanks for the heads up, but that would require a lot more practise! ^^ I wouldn't mind to play it a lot though! The game is great!
Nice score and I like the cameo appearance of your Christmas tree! :-)
Well done! Very clever! ;-)
I didn't know about these possibilities! Awesome!
The history of video games is full of twists and turns that's for sure! ;-)
It's a fun little game for a while but it gets very repetitive!
I heard of masses of video games being dumped on landfills after the video game crash as the were excess production! I saw a documentary where they recently excavated a few of them! I think it was Pacman and ET games!
Thanks for your vote! ... I like your story about the game! Good memory that you remember the exact year you got it!
Ha, ha! That's from Falco!
No need for video here! Yes vote!
Yes vote here!
Welcome to HS! ... Voting yes now as it's a small score. I second what Mark said about guidelines!
Yes on ALL!!!
Yes on all!
Yes vote! ... This console would be too tiny for me to play on but I like its design!
Yes of course!
Good old Bounty Bob at his best!
Awesome! Voting yes of course!
Awesome! Yes vote!
Set up of evidence is shown in the beginning of the video. Activision's Laser Blast is one of the games on the 32 in 1 video game cartridge released by Atari in 1988. I scored better but recording stopped due to lack of storage capacity. Thanks for looking!
Many thanks, Mark! ... Yeah, I always found Imagic games great! I don't know how to say it, but they were a bit different and innovative. Think about the marvellous Riddle of the Sphinx, Demon Attack or Atlantis. Trick Shot is another game I like! ... Whenever I buy a used console they get a real thorough clean on the outside and if necessary on the inside! Maintaining and repairing vintage consoles is another aspect of my video gaming hobby! :-)
Yeah, knowing games from back then always make them special! In case of this game I only know it for a couple of weeks and immediately liked it! :-)
Much appreciated, thanks! :-)
Yeah, I looked the FB5 games up already. Apart from Video Pinball it's not one of the games I requested. My completed FB3 requests are Centipede (easy&normal), Frog Pond, Outlaw (games 13-16), Air Sea Battle (A/B), Video Pinball (A/B), Asteroids (A/B). Good games to chase scores for, eh? I still hope they're available when the site refreshes.
Were the FB5 games newly added? Maybe my request for FB3 games was completed but as games also appear on FB5 they were added there? I think the FB5 console was not made for pal systems unfortunately.
My beginner's score! It's really lousy, but the game is so difficult, it felt like an achievement to have completed the whole course! XD
I bought a cheap old camping 7 inch LCD TV with an RF connection. I was curious about having something to set up for some retro gaming where I want to and where it suits. I'm not sure yet whether it was worthwhile as it's all a bit finicky to set up and the picture quality is not great. I guess maybe it was an okay investment as finally I managed to get some scores recorded today!
The more I play this game, the more I like it!
Improving my PB!
... Frohe Weihnachten!
Great run! Yes vote!
Nice one! Yes vote!
Cosmic bowling game 5!? You surprise me all the time, Omar! Well done!
Nice new scores! Yes on all!
Nice new scores! Yes on ALL!
Game 7 selected in beginning of the video. Final score best visible at 3:43min. Thanks for looking!
Great! The erstwhile so quiet category 'Bowling game 5' became a real action hot spot! Bring on your scores everybody! XD
Thank you! I won't keep the trophy for long though! My fellow countryman atari2600forever is already challenging it! ;-)
Yes on all and a happy Christmas! :-)
Yes on ALL! :-)
Nice that you're back here with a fresh score, scorechaser! :-)
Well done! Yes vote! :-)
Mhhh, I see what you mean now! I also don't see them when I search for a single game! However I saw all my 13 Flashback 3 requests being processed in my list of completed requests. Maybe it just takes some time until they're on here. Similiar to the monthly top scorer list where there seem to be weekly updates.
Omar, just letting you know that requests on various games for the Atari Flashback 3 console have been processed! Feliz Navidad!
The Atari Flashbacks are cheap to get here too. However I haven't found a bargain for the Intellivision or Colecovision yet! ... I noticed that you processed a couple of my requests for games on the Atari Flashback 3 console! Many thanks! Maybe you got this console too? Anyways I'll let Omar know about it and maybe we can have a little competition over Christmas! Have a good one!
Awesome score!!! Yes vote!!!
Nice to see a new score from you! :-) ... I can see that you previously scored this as it shows in the top scores towards the end of your video! Well done!
I haven't seen a C16 console for a long time! ... Yes vote for your score!
Some real 0'Skul Donkey Kong score! ;-) I like it!
Welcome to Highscore! :-) ... Great setup of evidence! YES vote! ... Nice console collection also!
Great game, great score! ... Yes vote!
Alles klar! ;-)
Yes on all! :-)
I like this game a lot! You're right it's difficult and yes, it can be annoying also! ;-)
Awesome score! Congratulations!
Many thanks, Omar! :-)
Yeah, I remember that I saw it before now! But I think the cartridge version is a homebrew hence I don't really know the game. Funny thing is: I remember things from 35 years ago better than if it was coupla weeks ago! XD
Hang on, this is also on Atari 2600!? I'll have to look it up!
It seems to be a tough game! Well done!
Congratulations to the Weltmeisterschaft! ;-)
YES! ... Nice score!
Well done! :-)
Evil Otto may look friendly but he's a deadly beast! XD
Well done! ... I just received this game among others today. I hope it runs okay! I remember I used to play this at a friend's!
Ha ha! Dann muss ich mir das mal holen!
Thanks, my friend! ... I find it frustrating myself to see scores but can't vote as there's not a minimal effort of scribbling a user name on a piece of paper or entering initials. Often new users just need some advise and encouragement. However some just want to drop their scores here.
Ah, you're already working on it! ;-) Maybe I should get this game too? Is it any good?
Many thanks, PJ! :-)
It's been too long ago that I played the arcade version. Too long to tell how difficult it was in comparison to the Amiga. Maybe arcade felt more difficult as inserting coins hurts more than resetting and starting over on Amiga? XD
It's not a strategy game though. More like an action/simulation game. I like the dual screen, a radar and a bridge view. The action is quite intense!
Wow! Many thanks! Lots to study there! :D
Many thanks, Mark! That's interesting as I just learn more about the SMS. I only know the most popular titles from playing them at display stands at the time. My friends an I had Atari 2600 consoles and later our platform of choice was the Amiga. Although I was interested in Nintendo and Sega there was no way to have all those consoles!
Congratulations! Yes vote!
Welcome to highscore.com! :-) ... Yes vote here!
Yes vote! Nice improvement! :-)
Gratulation zur Topscore! :-)
Great score! ... Yes vote!
I like the Amiga version of this game best!
Thanks, Mark! :-)
Great evidence and score! The principle of scoring in this game is quite peculiar indeed! I like the game from what I see in your video. I'll check whether there's a PAL version of it.
... and it's a yes from me! :-)
Yes vote! ... Welche Konsole findest du besser? Atari 2600 oder Intellivision?
Ich hab aber auch ganz fleißig für alle deine scores gewählt! ;-)
Wunderbar! Danke! :D
Na, da simmer avver ma schwer jespannt! XD
My beginner's score from the first few times playing this game.
Just my beginner's score! :-/ ... I'll be back with an improvement!
Many thanks, Mark! ... Let's have a challenge on a couple of Atari 2600 scores! Is your console ready for action? Would be great fun! ;-) ... B.t.w. I got my Sega Master System running too now!
I hope I understood your question correctly: There are many ways to record video evidence. Only recently I started to get into it myself. For now I just use my phone's camera to record a video. Then I upload it to YouTube. Then I enter the video's web address on Highscore when adding evidence.
For a quick view see in video: score rolls over at 43:46min. Final score after roll over at 1:07:38min, then switch settings at 1:08:03min.10,000 and 5,037: total of 15,037.
Thank you for your vote!
Thank you, Omar!
I find especially the latter two interesting too. For me this may be a good way to get into ColecoVision and Intelivision games! ... The name of the first Atari Flashback console is really 'Atari Flashback Mini 7800' as it resembles the 7800 console and it's also got some 7800 emulated games on board. After it's release there was much criticism as most people weren't even aware of the 7800 and were looking for that 2600 nostalgia. On top of things the console ironically runs on an NES chip and some games are not very well balanced! Flashback 2 was coming with a chip that resembled original hardware. I was told about hidden games and even a cartridge mod! Flashback 3-8 and as far as I understand 9 are all the same type of emulator but on each release they add more and different games. At least the 9th edition now allows software updates & upgrades via SD card. ... Usually after Christmas you will find brand new or once played Flashback consoles on the various online market places and can pick them up as a bargain! :-)
Yes of course! :-)
This is the only version of R-Type on Amiga that I know. Do you know different versions?
I already started to believe it ain't possible! :D
Same here for my new Battlezone score! Single game was only a couple of minutes but I played it like 15 times before I finally nailed it! :-)
Nice one, Mark!
Great score! ... First yes vote!
Sounds like most of it was a great experience! ... From what you're saying I reckon those events must be huge then! I'm already trying to figure out when a retro gaming expo is coming somewhere near my place! I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures of the event!
I've heard about the everdrive. It's similiar to gotek, isn't it? If disks would be more durable I would stick with them. I still like to use modules, disks even CDs more than ROMs on an sd card or USB stick.
Uh, I understand! That really sucks!!!
You really like this game, don't you? Which one's the best version?
One of my favorite games on Atari 2600!
Many thanks, Omar!
I think I don't know this game but will check it out! ... Many thanks for your votes also!
Many thanks, Mark! ... It's interesting that you mention the Sega Master System! I just bought one last week but need to do it up a bit and equip it with accessories and games. Now I know one of the games I could get for it! ;-)
Cheer up, it goes top spot! :-)
My first Amiga score here on Highscore! ... In the pictures you can see the original game disk but the game's ROM is running from a Gotek drive on a real Amiga 500 (no hardware emulation!).
Nice score, GTI! :-)
Then get well soon, Mark!
You're on a score marathon? ;-) Voted yes on ALL!
Nice setup of evidence! Great score also! :-)
Amazing score!!! ... Yes vote!
This should probably be posted in the emulated category like your other scores? If so: no problem, mistakes happen! However you may want to remove this and post again before you're getting more no votes. Skipping for now.
It's really tough! Controls like Asteroids and effects gravitation!
Nice to see a new score from you, Mark! Yes vote obviously! :-)
Welcome to HS! ... I recognise the game screen comparing it with other scores for this game. You could set your initials to GRG additionally. ... I'll vote yes!
Yeah, but the console don't seem to be very popular. My brother's got the Atari FB 1 but he didn't submit a score for a long time.
Omar, it's a yes for your submitted score of 526,229. However according to the screen you even achieved 526,929!
Lots to do for me to win back trophies on Atari 2600 and Flashback consoles! XD ... Well done!
Where did I store my Atari FB 1 console again? I got work to do! ... Well done, Omar!
Yes vote! ... I like your Colecovision Flashback console!
Well done! ... Yes vote!
Yes! ... I'm already looking to get one of them Game & Watch galleries for the Gameboy. Which one is the best? Or are they all great?
Well observed, Mark! ... I'm always amazed how well programmers of this era solved the limitations of 8-bit systems! In today's games the sky is the limit but game developers don't have to go to the edge of their creativity to nail it. Thus the old games are often better! ... B.t.w. I love the bowling guy's celabratory dance of a strike!
Thanks, Omar! I bet you're already working on a new score to beat this!
Successful run starts at 3:58min, result shown towards the end from 8:18min.
Could also be a lighthouse ... or even a joystick! 8-bit graphics, you name it!
Great, then I'm looking forward to your scores! :-)
I was already missing your DK scores! XD ... Yes vote!!!
That doesn't sound odd at all! 'Successfully losing' describes it very well! Real experience and skill in a game are achieved by losing and learning! However I also like to win sometimes! ;-) ... For your event I'm sure that folks will have fun! Keep us posted, ok?
Yeah, same here in Germany! I remember there was one guy who had a Philips Videopac G7000 as an exception. Back then a couple of friends, my brother and I played on Atari 2600 consoles. We've been taking turns to visit to have a crowd competing for highscores. As handhelds some people had Game & Watch LCD consoles, I had a Gama Tronic. I love to think back! It was a great time!
Thanks, I realise I know next to nothing about the Intellivision console! Went completely past me at the time...
I like it a lot too! ... Thanks for your vote! :-)
Nice setup of evidence! ... Interesting controller! Did the game come with a stencil or foil to attach to a standard controller?
Have fun on the retro gaming expo and good luck for your event there! :-)
Nice! ... It's a yes vote!
Going for top spot! ... Yes vote!
Wow, bring it on! I bet you beat it! I've only played it coupla times so must still be a low score!
Yeah, you're right! Same is true for my Atari Flashback 1 console. I first didn't like the console much but then Omar delivered a challenge on most of my scores! To get some of my highscores back I even had to learn how to deliver video evidence (amateurish but it works! XD)! As I only spent about €15 for the console I'd say this was a good investment! ;-)
That's definitely the best way to celebrate a console's birthday! :-)
Final score @ 1:22 min
I'm skipping for now...
Welcome to Highscore! ... I like that you write your user name on a name tag for ID! ... Mistakes like the wrong category can happen. There's an option 'remove score'. After you removed it post it again in the Gameboy category. Good luck!
Video shows score rolling at 1000. Mike then goes to score another 80!
5 lives left but needed to leave it there. I'll try for a better score some other time!
Yes vote! ... Nice improvement!
I'll try to get this game too! ... Darn, there's so many games I'd like to have! XD
Yes, Omar!... I'd imagine this is difficult to play with d-controls, isn't it?
You mean the mysterious 'special trophies'! They are easter eggs you can obtain by accomplishing a certain level of play in certain games! They're rare and hidden all over the site! They're shared by those who win them. I saw some more in other user's trophy cases. They look great! Good luck with winning some!
Cheers, mate! :-)
Welcome to Highscore.com!... Normally I should skip this but I'm voting yes as this score is relatively low. However I'd recommend you to at least display a name tag for identification. You may also want to vote for some other scores on this site to see how other users set up evidence for their scores! Good luck!
Oh, hang on, I don't even have the national cup yet! It's still waiting for votes! That'll be a quick exchange once it's through!
Alles klar! ... My national trophy goes down the drain again! XD
I had a tough time playing this game with this joystick console! :-/
Welcome to Highscore!... Thanks for displaying your name tag! Correct category too! It's a yes vote! :-)
Yes, the game is great! All courses are worth playing! ... Many thanks for voting on my scores! :-)
Yeah, this game has been released under different names! It's the same!
Please note that as a standard for time scores time is recorded hours, minutes, seconds and milliseconds as decimal even if a specific game usually only lasts minutes. If in doubt compare to other posts for this game.
Well done! ... First yes vote!
Okay, here we go again!
Well done, JP! :-)
Amazing score! Yes vote!
Dobrze zrobione! Gratulacje!
Yes vote! ... Super Computer-Ecke!
Over 30 years I was wondering what Bluto is throwing at Popeye! On Atari 2600 it just looks like blocks. Now I know that it's bottles! XD ... Thanks for your video! Yes vote obviously!
Well done! ... Would you recommend this game? I like Gas Hog from Spectravision, but I never played Planet Patrol!
Well done! ... Yes vote!
The game has been released 40 years ago and still people play it! It's an evergreen! :-)
Wow! Well done! I have to play this again soon! However there are so many great games and so little time!
Nice one! :-)
I meant 'Super Game Boy SNES/Super Famicom attachment' of course. The gameboy player can be used to play gameboy games on a GC. All allowed under the rules.
This is the right category, as most voters will know. The rules explicitly allow playing a Game Boy game on an Snes Gameboy player attachment.
Nice score! :-) ... Yes vote!
Congrats to the top spot!
Well done, C72! :-)
Not for long, as I know you!
Fully deserved! ... mhhh, perhaps I could play Kangaroo later... ;-)
This looks similiar to Spy Hunter. Is it any good? ... I bet it's worthwhile having the Konami Arcade Classic!
Interesting game! Great score!
Well done, Omar!
Great! Bring it on! :-)
Excellent! Congratulations! :-)
Awesome! Congratulations! :-)
Alles klar! ... Ich bin dran! ;-)
Gut gemacht! Ja Stimme! :-)
Nice one! Yes vote!
Yes vote! ... Great score!
Wow! The name of this game is quite a mouthful! First yes!
Yes vote! ... Hello from NRW!
Awesome!!!! ... I watched your video to get a clue how to improve in this game! It's very difficult!
Ah, Popeye! It's one of my favourites on Atari 2600!
My new Atari 2600 game! I like it a lot!
Your evidence is good! Most submissions for Google Image Breakout just contain a photo and some users don't even care for any form of ID. It's nice to see that you care about this! ... Welcome to HS and: yes vote!
Spooky! ... Nice that you're back with a fresh score!
Yeah, on Pole Position! I just voted yes on the whole lot!
I achieved a higher score but video stopped due to lack of storage. Here is what I got evidence for!
Yeah, I agree, new users are wanted! However they need to apply the rules and not just post with no ID, no initials and then disappear without trace! I try to spread the word about HS too. However so far I was only successful to convince my brother to join. Tonight I meet some friends, who are basically interested but I'm not sure whether they'd go the full length to join.
Ich stimme ja! ^^
Well done, yes vote!
Another Atari 2600 homebrew that I haven't heard of before! Looks quite challenging! ... Well done!
I saw there are 4 scores waiting for this game! I wish there was the same action for other games too! Would make HS a bit more lively!
Top score! Well done!
Yes of course!
Well done! You got the top spot back!
Awesome score! Yes vote!
Lameboy!? XD ... Never heard of this device. Looked it up, now I know! Yes vote!
I've got Super Mario Land on gameboy and super mario world on SNES. However I must admit I'm rubbish at those and my scores are rather embarrassing! XD
Why not getting back into it? Many of the Atari 2600 games are great! ... Thanks for your vote!
Final score @ 1:22m.
Knight Rider, Battle of Olympus, Faxanadu, California Games and Gradius. I don't have a great many NES games unfortunately.
Thanks for your vote!
Thanks, Omar! I think it's the highest possible score as towards the end no more planes were appearing! ... It's funny as in our conversation yesterday I was joking that there is no survival in arcade games! However this version is very easy compared to Atari 2600!
That was a lot of NES scores by you! Yes on ALL! ... I haven't achieved a good score on my NES console for a while...
Well done! ... Great game! Brings back some memories! :-)
Well done! :-) ... Yes vote!
Robot tank! I've heard that it's a good game!
Actually, I did try this on Atari Flashback 3 but it probably needs more practise as the tanks pop up so quickly when the game advances! But I'll definitely try again! Thanks again!
Wow, this game really looks like quite a challenge! Well done!
Well done! :-)
Gracias, pero no hay supervivencia en los juegos de arcade. ;-)
Many thanks, Omar! However in Battlezone on Atari 2600 and Flashback 3 I can't improve. ... So far. ;-)
I'm also trying to improve my scores in Battlezone on Atari 2600 and Atari Flashback 3. However it's a bigger challenge there! They all look similiar but difficulty and gameplay vary quite significantly.
Great score! ... Yes vote!
Yes vote! ... Ist das Spiel gut? Sieht ein bisschen wie Wizard of Wor aus...
Ah, looks like I got work to do! XD ... Well done and yes vote!
Thanks, Mike! :-)
Yes vote! Well done!
Wow, great score! Yes vote!
I think you accidentally posted this under the wrong game title! This category here is the 'PC Star Trek' table. There is also a 'PC Star Trek Next Generation' category. No problem, I recommend you remove your score here and post it there! Skipping for now!
Welcome to High Score! :-) ... I found your video! Great score! Yes vote!
I have this game on Atari 2600, Atari FB1 and FB3 console. Atari 2600 is the hardest and best version of these. Is the emulated game as good as on the authentic console?
Super Konsole! Ich hab auch gleich mal nachgeschaut , was das genau ist! Kannte ich gar nicht!
Although this game appears on so many platforms, I've never had it! Maybe I played it somewhere a long time ago. Reminds me a bit of Gran Prix. ... Yes vote for your score!
Ah, Battlezone again! XD ... I'll get back to this game on Flashback 1 & 3 soon! ... Yes vote for your score!
Great score! ... Voting yes!
Welcome to High Score, BenLang! :-) ... The best way to get started is by voting, posting scores and using the discussion area of this site. Good evidence of your score is important as this ultimately determines whether your score submission is accepted as legit. You can achieve this by photo and/or video evidence. It's most important that users can see that your score was actually achieved by you. Depending on the platform it may also be necessary to show the game console or the applied settings. As a first thing you should set your initials and for future posts include in the photo a name tag of your user name for easy identification. ... As for your first post I can see you entered BE for your score probably running out of time for BEN ;-). Comparing with other scores I recognise the game screen. It's a yes vote! Well done! :-)
Great score! Yes vote!
Voting yes! :-)
Yes vote! ... Well done!
Yes on ALL!
Nice score, Kenny! :-) Yes of course!
Well done! :-) Yes vote!
I found it on TG! A link may help! ... Well done, yes vote!
Yes here! :-)
Thanks, Evandro! :--)
Awesome!!! ... Yes of course!
Nice that you're back, Dr Josh! And with a great score! ... Yes vote!
Nice console! Yes vote! ... I wish I had a GC GameBoy Player for my GBA games! I have a Super GameBoy adapter for my SNES but it only plays GB games.
Nice one! ... Yes vote!
I forgot how annoying the sound of this game is! Thanks for reminding me! ... Yes vote of course!
Ich stimme ab: .... JA!
Defending your world title? Well done!
GREAT score!!! Yes vote!
Thanks for the information about the hardware! I learn new things here every day! :-) ... Yes vote!
A stormtrooper in an X-wing fighter blowing up the death star! What are the odds!? ;-) ... Well done and yes vote!
Nice score! ... Voting yes!
Thanks! ... Exactly, Zellers and Goliath are the companies names! ... My score may have cost me nerves but I feel it's still low. Once you learn how to handle the alien waves and to navigate in the caves you gain some control. So you having another go at this would certainly bring value to an otherwise rather average game!
Also compare to Arrowhead12's pending score. It shows the same game screen. I previously requested it under Astro Attack but was advised by S.Baz that Astro Attack and Time Warp are just two names for the same game!
According to some research on the net the game was released by two different companies under the name of Time Warp and Astro Attack (maybe US/European releases?). Nobody really seems to exactly know with those low budget games from 35 years ago. What I can tell for sure is that this is not a good game at all!
Here we go: first vote and it's a yes! :-)
Great score!. ... Yes vote!
Yes vote! ... Nice score!
Yes on all!
Yes vote! ... Amazing score! Congratulations!
Oh, you're right! ^^ I checked the score and then the announcement below. It said '-1% lower then high score' which of course in case of 'lowest time wins' doesn't mean 2nd place, it means 1st! ... I bet this kicks off a score battle! ... Maybe I go get this game too and join in? xD
So close to the top spot! ... Yes vote!
Competition raises the game's replay value! You may beat my score again soon! ... Just make sure you have enough spare joysticks! ;-)
Ja, das Flackern ist bei dem Fernseher eine Art 'special effect'! xD
I just figured out how to submit video evidence on a score. I hope it's all okay! If not, I'd be grateful if you could give me some advise?
Nice one, yes vote!
I know because I nearly broke my controller achieving the score for Breakout too! XD ... I also find Crystal Castle has horrible controls! I keep looking out for another bargain on this console mainly for the joysticks!
That's the reason why you don't try harder to crack my Breakout world trophy, eh? ;-)
Yes on all your recent ones! I may have to get into video evidence to challenge your soon to be top spots in this category!
This goes for top spot! Well done! :-)
Why? The couch is great! Real 80s style! ;-)
Yes vote! This is a good score! I find the game's difficulty really hard. I played it on Midway Arcade Treasures for the PS2.
Take good care of the remaining joystick! I tried an Atari compatible pin controller and it didn't work! Without the select button the games wouldn't start! I also only have one left!
Congratulations to the world trophies you nicked from me b.t.w.! ;-)
On High Score I see new things every day! ;-) ... Yes vote from me!
Yes votes on all your Atari Flashback 1 scores! ... Battlezone on this console is quite easy compared to the Atari 2600 or Flashback 3 versions, isn't it?
Ah! You found your Atari Flashback 1 console! ;-) ... Well done and yes vote!
Nice one! ... Yes vote!
:-o! ... Anyway: top spot! ;-)
No Walmart near my place unfortunately (at quite a price they can be bought online). My local game store don't have them, also not where they have the Funco Pops ;-). They do have a Neo Geo mini arcade console though. It comes with loads of classic games, can be plug&played on TV. Wunderbar! ... but costs €139 (~$160)! :-/
I was looking to get one of these consoles, but they're hard to come by: so far no luck! ... Yes vote for your score obviously!
Thanks Omar! I still love this game after all the time! :-)
Great game! ... Voting yes!
Yes vote! Great score!
One of my favourite games on Atari 2600! :-) ... Yes vote!
Yes vote! ... Well done!
Yes here! ... It's always good to have some competition! :-)
Awesome score! I always found this game very difficult. However I only played it on C64 and Amiga. ... Yes vote!
German Meister! ;-)
Well done! ... I was looking to get this too but it's rather rare (at least the european version). ... Yes vote obviously!
Congratulations, Omar! The World Trophy goes back to Mexico then! I'm already nicely wrapping it up to send it over from Germany! ... Yes vote obviously!
There are so many versions of this game! However I never played the original arcade game or any port with vector graphics.
Thanks! My camera doesn't have a good flash light, so I had to switch on 1 ceiling and 2 floor lamps to get proper photos of the score! ... It's like turning 'Rob's Retro Retreat' into a photo studio! XD
Great game and a good score! :-) ... Yes vote!
Great time! ... Yes vote!
Yes! ... Great score!
Meisterlich! ... Yes vote!
Yes on all!
It was fun playing a couple of times. However once I figured it out I wanted a new challenge. Maybe the other game variations...
Unbelievable how many gaming systems there are that I haven't even heard about!
I played it now. First I found it difficult but after a while the relation between cannon angle and wind speed is figured out. 7 is the highest possible score. I think the game variations are more difficult. In one there is a moving wall to pass through!
Interesting! I didn't know there is also a Master System mini console! ... Yes vote here!
I have this game on the 32 on 1 cartridge. Maybe I try to play it again later ... Yes vote for your score!
This is one of my favorite games! ... Well done! :-)
I think I played this on Amiga ages ago! Or maybe it was on C64? ... Anyway: yes vote!
Oh, thanks. That's good advise for not getting Laser Blast then. But there are so many other titles I'm interested in! ... And too little time to play them all!
Yeah, you're right! XD
What's Laser Blast like?
Ha, ha! I had the same idea! However many voters may want video evidence since it'd be a roll over and a top spot.
Ja Stimme! ;-)
Ah, Mouse Trap! Great game! However difficulty should be a bit harder even on Novice as it's one of them games you could play forever after you got the hang of it. On the other hand, that's what the expert difficulty would do! ... Anyway, well done!
Yours are also good points to explain why some rather harsh no votes may come about.
Part of a Wikipedia definition of typical trolling behaviour: trolls act intentional, repetetive and harmful, ignoring a community's guideline.
Making up one's own guidelines and persistently and purposefully down voting users who apply the official set of rules sounds just like this. Hence I can understand why users feel they've been trolled. But maybe you're right and there are better words for this behaviour. 'Troll' in this context is a relatively new word anyway. However people that behave this way probably have been around since the stone ages. XD
First vote: YES!
Yes, I know what you mean. However if he really followed a strict set of rules, he would acknowledge in your example that Gameboy compatible devices such as GBA are allowed. In other posts (probably) the same person issued no votes on various Atari Flashback 1 scores 'wrong category' where there is the explicit rule that it has to be played on that very console (shown in picture etc.). I won't complain about users expressing their views in a legitimate way by voting no. However there is no doubt that there is also quite some trolling going on on High Score! For instance I just can't see why Mark gets so many no votes on his recent scores as his evidence is good.
Hi Mark, it's great that you won new users through Steam! If some of them don't follow guidelines that's not your fault. Most of them may just be inexperienced and learn from some advise. I wish I was more successful bringing new users to High Score. However the old school way of just telling family and friends about it somehow became out of fashion it seems! XD ... Well, at least my brother joined High Score! :-)
It's a yes here!
COSMIC Bowling!? XD ... Yes vote!
It's great to have some fresh Atari 2600 scores on here! Nice set up of evidence! Yes vote!
Yes vote! ... Unfortunately clearly a troll is quite active on High Score again (or still?)! It's a shame that many scores with good evidence get no votes! I wonder what drives them?
Most people just post screenshots of this game. Your photo of the score, name on the card and smiley are good evidence! ;-) Yes vote and welcome to High Score!
Thanks! It's on my wish list now! ;-)
Welcome to High Score! :-) ... Yes vote!
It's the incredible Pac-Man again! ... Yes vote!
But you got to love the game's name! XD
Yes vote! ... Is this game any good?
Unfortunately no hidden games on this console as far as I know! Rumours of secret games on the Flashback 2 sounds mysterious! I recently bought the Flashback 3. Battlezone on there is far better balanced and a tougher challenge than on the Flashback 1. However I like the Atari 2600 version most! ... Thanks for your vote!
It's Donkey Kong again! Great!
Many thanks for your vote!
I love Ghostbusters! Just saw the film again after decades a few weeks ago! I got part 1 & 2 on Blu-ray now! :D ... Yes vote for your score obviously! XD
I agree with Mark: the game's calculation error shouldn't be seen as a reason to downvote your score! ... Welcome to High Score! Yes vote from me!
Yes vote! ... Is this the sequel to Miners 2049er!?
Meisterlich! ... Yes vote!
Ah, the good ole breadbox! ;-) ... Yes vote!
Thanks, fellow gamer! :-)
I haven't seen or known about this console before too! It looks great!
Wow, so close to top spot! Well done!
Yes vote! ... Nice console!
At least I will have been 'Deutscher Meister' for what ... like 5 minutes?! Well done!
Welcome to High Score! ... Yes vote!
The settings are correct here: the music is turned off in the right (B/Novice) position! Switches are in A (with music) and difficulty is on medium (default setting, as not affected by difficulty switches, only by select switching between E(asy), M(edium) or H(ard)). The speed variation is difficult to spot, but it has to be there with switches in A/A. I'm voting yes!
Yes, I thought it would!
I love this game but only played it on Atari 2600! ... Yes vote!
There definitely seem to be too many consoles on this TV cabinet! XD ... One of my other Atari consoles is a woodgrain (just a 4 switch) but currently it's got audio problems. Could just be the contacts of the channel switch. I hope it's not the RF modulator as I don't want an AV mod! I like the look of the woodgrain best, but had a Darth Vader as a kid.
This is great! ... Yes vote!
I never knew there was a 2nd part of this game. Great! Yes vote!
I remember this pinball table too! Great score! Yes vote!
I kind of expected this! Yes vote! Good score!
Welcome to High Score! ... Yes votes for your scores!
This score will make you German Meister!
Stuck in a meteor field AND attacked by UFOs and sattelites! That's quite a bad hair day!
It always wants the most attention! I like the reaction of people that realise what this is (often after having played on an Atari 2600 some 30 years ago)! Although my friends love to play a round of Space Invader & Co I can't convince them to join High Score so far. My brother is on here and he announced to get more active from autumn again.
Thanks Mark! ... I didn't know that modern TVs don't even have composite no more! I would have thought there are still a lot of devices with composite plugs!? My flat screen TV is about 5 years old and apart from 2 HDMI it's got 2 AV scart and a composite plug and even an RF socket! How quick things change!
Check out www.flipperforum.be for an overview of all pinball tables in Belgium and The Netherlands known to the site members! The machines are not all in arcades but often hidden in pubs etc.! For my part I like my pinball and a beer anyway. I used to play quite a lot of pinball in a variaty of pubs in Cologne.
Yes vote! ... Amazing score!
Yes vote! ... Another game I never heard of before! Looks funny!
Yes on ALL!
Original Gameboy game Boulder Dash played on Gameboy Color handheld console (see rules: 'must be played on a Gameboy compatible handheld device').
Scoring this on MY green Gameboy is bold! ... This may become another brother contest! ... I'm already working on a proper score, but so far, no good...
Yes vote! ... Nice score!
Many thanks for all the advice, Mark! There's lots to study for me now! I have completely forgotten about the homebrew games for Dreamcast! However I remember that the discontinuation of the Dreamcast and Sega's withdrawal from the console video game production was quite a topic when it all happened. However I only heard about the homebrew developements much later!
That's right of course!
It's a great score! ... And it's a YES!!!
I never played this, but it reminds me of Wing Commander, which I played on Amiga and SNES console! Star Fox really looks good and I'll put it on my list of games to get! ... Yes vote of course!
Many thanks! It's really worth getting this game! The game title is absolutely fitting as it's mad fun! There are also a lot of ports to other consoles too (Playstation 2/3, Xbox 360, GameCube, etc.)!
Many thanks, Mark! Do you still have your Dreamcast console? How'bout getting it up started again? Are there any other games I shouldn't miss out on?
Thanks Mark! I only have little experience with this console! However a few days ago I bought one locally. It was a bargain as the guy hasn't tested it again after storage (a little side story: when I met the guy for the sale he wore a Mario T-Shirt, which I found funny considering he sold a Sega console! I had to make a little ironic comment about the shirt but he didn't get it or it simply just wasn't funny! Nevermind, I still find it is! ). You can imagine how happy I was when I realised that the console was working! It came with this game and Quake III which I don't know.
I still remember when a friend invited me over when he got Crazy Taxi when it was released in 2000! It was quite funny back then and it still is! ... I will need more practise to get back into it though!
Brings back some memories!
Is Bob joining High Score soon too? ... Yes vote!
Another game I've never heard about before! Apparently a Japan exclusive puzzle game. ... Yes vote!
Thanks for clarifying that this is just like a Gotek floppy drive for the original Amstrad CPC!
Maybe soon, it's cooling down a bit!
Yes vote for your scores! ... Welcome to High Score!
Yes vote! ... I bet the Atari 5200 console and games are really hard to find! Is this game as much fun as Mr. Do on Atari 2600? It seems to be a different game type, not a maze game but similar to Donkey Kong or Kangaroo...
Is it Candy Crush time again? First yes vote!
Great game! ... Yes vote!
Yes vote! ... Berzerk is on my list of games to get!
Yes, I was getting lost in the desert whilst searching for a specific artefact to solve the Riddle of the Sphinx! I was cursed, robbed and nearly dehydrated, but in the end I made it!
Mainly I'm beating my own score, Omar! This game is own of my favourites. It was the first adventure game that I ever played. ... Dein Deutsch ist wirklich gut!
Yes vote! Great score! ... Unfortunately trolls seem to be quite active again! The reasons given for no votes appear to be totally random. Sometimes there's no reason given at all! ... Don't allow them to spoil the fun!
Yes vote! ... Great score!
TANKS! ... Ehh, I mean: THANKS!
Dark Chambers may start a bit slow and easy but it starts to get interesting from level 'L': scarier and more dangerous demons , fancy treasure and gadgets, weapon improvement! This game's got it all!
Una buena combinación!
Yes vote! ... Good score!
You're welcome! ... Yes vote!
I know, I was also only joking! I think I might repost the score as I realised I have set a goal to beat my own score! No joke!
People who vote no here either don't have a clue or they are trolls.Great score, yes vote obviously!
Now I get it! ... My fault, as you may have heard, that we Germans don't have a sense of humour! Never mind the score, I don't particularly like the game anyway!
Okay, I take it down then.
Hi Darryl! I also know Enduro, that it's similiar and the way it's recorded there. However when I requested this game the admin (S.Baz) and I discussed and it was decided that due to the lack of fog and other details that occur in Enduro, this is a similiar but still different game! The recording of the score is also different: it's distance multiplied by 10 (see rules above). This is all correct as posted. See also my previous score. I hope this clarifies it!
Turning my screen up side down reveals: it's all good man! Yes vote!
I would take this down and post it under 'Trick Shot' like your other score. It is the same game variation under a different title making one redundant. I would choose the other category as the competetion established there. You can always wait until your first score there is voted legit and then post your new score. If you do it sooner it will just replace the old score. I am skipping on this one as I voted for your score in the other category! Best wishes!
Nice set up of evidence! You got my vote! And: Welcome to High Score!
Another game on Atari 2600 I don't know! Looks a bit like Enduro. The speed of it is insane!!! ... Yes vote!
Great score! ... Making you German Meister!
This is one of the better adaptations of an Atari 2600 game on the Atari Flashback 1 console! However the difficulty appears to be way too easy! I still remember playing this on Atari 2600 some decades ago and I believe it was a much tougher challenge!
I have to get this game compilation!
Yes vote for all your new scores!
Can you imagine? I haven't known this game from my gaming glory days! I only bought it after I saw your video here on High Score! Thanks for the tip!
I will definitely bring on a better score once I have the time! The game may be quite easy but it's also time consuming. A bit like Mouse Trap on Novice I'd say. Anyway it is fun to pop the ghosts and to find secrets and hidden objects. A bit like an early version of Gauntlet. Haven't played it with 2 players yet. Must be fun too!
Yes vote! ... Also quite interesting! Is this pinball collection any good? Malzbie is the nickname of the guy who developed it.
Everybody loves Frogger! Yes vote!
This game appears to be really easy on Novice difficulty. With a little more effort I should score much better. So this is just for starters!
Amazing! I know how difficult this game is as I used to play it a lot on Amiga! Well done and welcome to High Score!
Great score Derek! This pinball game is a pain! I think it's the most difficult one on Pinball Dreams. I'm currently posting new scores for all 4 games. Are you bringing on some fresh scores for them yourself?
So many versions of this game! ... Yes vote!
Great game! I will try to get this on cartridge! ... Yes vote!
The words 'graveyard' are just an area design within the game. I think somebody may have voted 'no' due to not knowing this game. It's called 'Nightmare' and it's one of four pinball games on Pinball Dreams!
Probably the game I played most back in the days!
First yes vote!
I voted yes on all your scores and looking forward to voting on this one too!
I am sure now that this was accidentely posted in Atari 2600 instead of Atari 2600 emulated as all of Larquey's other new scores are in the latter category. Please stop voting to allow him to take down and post correctly!
Larquey, I think you may have accidentely posted this in the wrong category! I don't know why people vote 'no' without quickly advising you about this! If it was played on an authentic console tell me, then I vote yes as I trust you! .
No sweet without sweat!
I liked California Games a lot. However CG II is nowhere near it! The controls are all weird it seems! Even with some practise I don't really get it. Would someone join in this game ... and maybe give me some advise or share their experience?
74K would have made my day! ... For now I'm happy with landing at the 6th spot! My brother is holding the 2nd, making him German Meister!
Yes vote here!
I want one of those Jakks Pacific joysticks too! Nice score! Yes vote!
Voting goes slow these days indeed! ... Yes vote!
Yes vote and welcome to Highscore!
I like it! Yes vote for your score and welcome to Highscore!
Welcome to Highscore! ... Yes vote for your score!
Played on an authentic Atari Flashback 1 console as rules require. The 1st Flashback console looks quite different to it's successors FB 2-8 (perhaps more like an Atari 7800?).
Yes vote! Good score! ... Nice music too!
I love this game! Nice score!
Nice score! Another hotly contested national trophy! I will need to deliver!
Clearly a yes vote!
Tough as nails! Eagles, bears, boulders and crappy weather! One hell of a trip!
Gute Idee, was? Auf dem 32 in 1 Modul sind einige gute Spiele!
@MrVCS: I like your Sunnyvale sixer! Is it a heavy or a light? I hope you read this as I can't seem to reply to your post directly.
That's true! It felt like a huge achievement when I made the way to the mountain starting to climb. That's why I posted such a low score. I will really have to practise this a lot!
Ja, hier in NRW auch! Ich spiele heute abend wieder! Sonnige Grüße!
Is the emulated version even more difficult than the real one? Anway great score!
Raising the bar here!!! Good job! First yes vote!
You got it! This is great! Yes vote here!
Alright, I see what happened here: you need to exchange the comma for a dot! In the USA (where this site is based) it's the other way around than in Germany! In Germany your score of '33 sec. and 45 msec.' would be entered as: 33,45 whereas in the US it's entered 33.45. At the same time 'one thousand' in Germany is 1.000 whereas in the US it's 1,000! This got me confused in the beginning too! Good luck! I'm looking forward to supporting your score! ... I like your video and your gamer's enthusiasm!
Welcome to High Score and just a quick advise: the reason why you received 'no votes' is probably because in this game you are required to enter milliseconds in the seconds field as a decimal value (see game rules). The correct score in this case would be: 0:00:33.45. I would remove this and post it again entering the accurate score. Skipping for now!
Don't worry, you'll score better! Omargeddon just brought in a score of 38,600 for this game! Good competition!
Great score, Omar! ... B.t.w. the national trophy for Germany is currently hotly contested between Atari2600forever and me! However I'm really struggling to crack his 35K. I was already trying various joystick to improve on the jumping but so far to no avail. So maybe its not the joystick, it's just me!
Many thanks for the offer! However we have PAL here in Germany and I think you got NTSC. ... If I'm lucky I can get the game in PAL from the UK. I will put it on my 'games to get' list!
It seems this game is rather rare in my country. At least I never came across it so far! It looks really good! ... I also like your video!
Not so sure after I tried today! The game can be a pain!
Really? It's one of my favorites! I'm slowly getting back into it!
You will be German Meister! ... Until I score better!
There seem to be some no votes for your score. However a closer look reveals score, level, your initials and even a reflection of the handle bars of the arcade machine. In my view there is no need for an addiitional avatar or name written on a paper in this case. I vote yes in support of your score!
Na, da simmer abber ma schwer jespannt!
Thanks! This game is really funny! I don't remember to have played it back in the days...
Thanks! ... 38 still seems far out of reach (knowing how tough it was scoring 35!)
It cost me a lot of nerves to achieve this! This game can be so annoying! Come on, you get the 30K now!
Interesting to see this game in a different version than on Atari 2600! ... Great score!
Far from my skills in this game about 30 years ago!
Welcome to High Score! ... Great score!
That's right, I just experienced a time travel when I played this again for the first time since about 30 years!
Just my beginner's score!
Yes here! Good score!
I don't understand, why this received a 'no' vote!? This is legit and evidence is superb! ... Yes vote from me!
Video is a good idea in any event! Especially when you eventually want to evidence a roll over in a game!
Great game, nice score!
You just edged over the high score!
Welcome to High Score! ... The lack of a high score display in some games is a very annoying thing indeed!
This pinball generally scores big! This is a relatively low score and I did not even get into the game's high score table. Therefore I could not enter my initials. However my beer mat avatar is in it's usual spot!
Eine ganze Menge Air-Sea Battle spielst du da!
Vielen Dank! Ich finde aber die Atari 2600 Woodgrain am schönsten! Die steht im Hobbykeller! Deine 6 Switch ist Klasse! Ist es eine Sunnyvale?
Improving my PB on Easy Street! This time I was only sacked on Thursday! Does anyone have this game to start a little competition?
1st photo shows countdown for 1 credit/continue, which I didn't use. This is seen in 2nd photo as after expiry of the countdown the game is over and 510 ($51 * 10) points are added for a final score of 13,710.
I punch quite a few monkeys in level 1 and level 2 as they are swarming out especially on the middle platform. However it's not mining as the game's whole (stupid?) idea is to delay Junior's rescure to gather points by either collecting fruits or punching monkeys until the countdown is down. If you go straight to saving Junior you may proceed a level further but miss out on a large variety of higher scoring fruits that appear when you ring the bell.
I know what you mean! At present I try to get a decent score from SNES Super Star Wars, but the highscore is not displayed after losing the last life. So I try to capture the score whilst on my last with the risk of losing it in the process!
...and another one! First yes vote!
There is another game I haven't heard of before! ... Voting yes!
Proud to have your vote, Mark! Thanks!
The game is endless, so just before stopping to play, I took a photo from the statistics menue for the population score.Default difficulty setting is easy (in German: 'Schwierigkeitsgrad leicht')Population score is shown as 'Bevölkerung'

Nice score! Great game!
Thanks Omar! ... The striped zone is really difficult!
So close to 100K!
1 chicken better than me! Good competition!
1st yes vote! Welcome to High Score!
Keine Sorge, ich bin schon froh, wenn ich in die Top 10 komme!
Voted yes to 'em all!
Wow! This console looks great! Great score too!!!
I just bought this game for Atari 2600 and will have it by the weekend! I used to play it at a friend's and now I can't wait to have a go at it again!
Great score! I will have this game by the weekend too! So far I only played Super Breakout!
Great score! I love this game!
My beginner's score!
Thanks! However I just posted a better run!
Danke! Ich hatte gerade noch einen besseren Lauf!
Nice score, Mark!
Great score! Yes vote!!!
Nice score! ... Yes vote!
Yes vote! ... Great game!
I can confirm it's easy on Novice as I recently played it and eventually became bored! ... Yes vote!
Really? I remember I liked it when I played it at a friend's. However that's quite a while ago!
Interesting game! Thanks for the video!
I only achieved 28! ... So far!
Yeah, I thought it would be!
This game is tough as nails! I had to pause to take photo as after losing all lives it goes straight to continue screen without score display.
Excellent! ... I also like your consoles!
Danke, ich werde in Kürze nachlegen!
Yes vote here!!!
Good score! I will also try it again soon!
Ich ahne schon, was jetzt kommt!
Ja, ich war aber selbt überrascht! Es fehlt nicht mehr viel für die Top Score!
Beginner score! This game is really difficult!!!
That sounds interesting! I don't know a great variety of pinball games or machines. I loved the Video Pinball on Atari 2600 and later I also played a few pinball machines regularly. Unfortunately most of them disappeared from the pubs and we don't have a lot of pinall places in Germany (well at least not in this neck of the woods). I used to regularly play Theatre of Magic, Data East Star Wars, Addams Family and Medieval Madness. Now here on Highscore I see a huge variety of great pinball machines I'm not familiar with, which I find really interesting!
I used to play this loads back in the days and I'm a bit surprised how I still remember the swing of it today! I believe I only got a decent score as this game became kind of engrained in my genes. I'm usually rubbish with getting into new pinball games. I bet as a pinball expert and with some practise you can beat this! Try it out!
I remember this game from Amiga! For me it is more like a Pipe Nightmare, esp. at this speed setting! Good job!
Top score! Ich guck demnächst mal, ob ich das Spiel auch bekommen kann! Ist aber selten, glaube ich...
I agree! If somebody spots a mistake or desires more evidence they can always advise/ask for and skip the vote. However there is not even a mistake or anything else amiss with your evidence! Yes vote!
My newly posted score of 983,344 on Novice B may also show that it was much tougher for me here on Expert A! Thanks all for your trust!
Thanks for your advise! I thought the gaps are good evidence for Expert as I don't have video! Also thanks for trusting me that this is legit!
I think that's the best set of them all! B.t.w. it also makes the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs!
