First submission for this unusual chart: 'Breakout: Game 1: 2 Player Game [Combined Score]':56+309=365Thanks for looking!
Snapshots from my video show:1st: result (upper left)2nd: game number (upper left)3rd: settings both Novice/BThanks for looking!
Congrats on beating my WR! However you gotta admit it was close! YES vote!!!
Improving my PB!
Yes vote! Well done!
Ja, Circus Atari ist echt zu empfehlen! Thanks for your vote!
Well done! Yes on all!
Thank you! :-)
Good to see you back, Larquey! Yes vote!
Awesome score! Voting yes!
Good question! Makes me wonder whether we have any japanese users on highscore.com? Maybe you can also find some advise on the net? I can only help with a yes vote!
In game 10 the ball goes straight through the barrier AND can be controlled! It gets better and better! What a start of the weekend!
RetroRob brings you games previously not seen on highscore.com! It was odd when I realised that in game 9 the ball goes straight through the barrier! Life is full of surprises!!!
Funny! I just played Breakout on Atari 2600! Yes vote!
Score is visible in the video! Well done! Yes!
Well done! Yes vote!
Many thanks! :-)
Well done! Good evidence! Yes vote!
Gerne!
Yes on ALL!
Nice score! Yes vote!
Nice one! Yes vote! :-)
I plan to bring a video for the basic game soon! It's much easier than the game variations. In game 1 Novice/B I usually manage to visit a number of planets collecting a variety of alien species in spite of meteor showers and high-tech planetary defense systems! It's obviously an immensely important mission as I (the commander of the Comic Ark) have to save these critters from extinction! ;-)
Yes on all!
Successful run starts at 1:46min. Thanks for looking!
Thanks a lot, nads! :-)
Si señor! :-)
I wish there was an edit function: 'Switch settings' & 'Thanks'! ;-)
'Bobby geht Heim' is the german title of 'Bobby is going home'. Switch setting (both A) are shown in the video at 0:10. Final result shown from 10:23. Thank for looking!
Excellent! Yes vote!
Yes vote! Awesome score!
Well done! Voting yes!
Merci beaucoup! :-)
Viel Erfolg! :-)
Wow, Asteroids has 66 game variations!? xD ... Yes vote!
Nice Pacman Collection scores! Yes on all!
Nice score! from me!
Funny, a couple of days ago I saw this game is on my Atari Flashback console and planned to play it soon! Your score gets some company then! Oh, yes of course!
Yes vote! Nice score!
Great strategy! I think I learned something for my next time playing! ;-) A BIG yes!
Great score! Yes vote!
Can't believe you're the first to submit for this game! Yes vote!
Nice improvement! Yes vote!
Ja klar! ;-)
Yes on all! :-)
Thanks! Good to see you back on HS too! :-)
Good to hear that things are getting sorted out on HS! Yes on all your scores!
Don't give up on the Zelda unlock! Yes vote!
Wow! I'd love to find a Mr. Do arcade machine some place nearby! Yes of course!
Well done! Yes vote! :-)
Unfortunately many good users have ceased activities on this site due to the issues you mentioned! Some of these users found or were already active on other sites like atariage.com, cyberscore.me.uk or TG. However in the past many good folks have been trying hard to get support by contacting the site moderation and by ways of the discussions area (see various previous threads). However it appears that the site owner decided not to get involved (at least not publicly, not sure whether someone recently received a PM). As I love this site I still hope for better times! However I realise that this time the issues may even be worse! I really hope the current wave of negativity passes by and that good folks like you are not driven off the site!
Yes here for all!
Nice one! Yes!
Awesome! Yes vote!
Nice one! Yes vote!
Hey, you got the same initials as me! LOL! ;-)
Voting yes! Nice improvement!
I received some no votes for scores without video recently. They were rather low scores or chart starting scores. I'd say it's strict but at least I got some feedback. I also had some incompetent voting due to a voter apparently not watching the video. The most recent no votes were for scores with video evidence and the reasons given were 'other' without anything else. Now that's just sad!
Obviously a big YES from me for your awesome score!!!
Yes votes for all!
Yes of course!
Yes, that's about what I thought! I really like his style of narrative! :-)
Ha ha! This game again! xD Yes of course!
Wow, great score! Good evidence! YES vote!
Yeah Mark's YouTube channel is awesome! Yes vote for your score!
Nice setup of evidence! Yes vote!
Wow! Nice bunch of PSP scores!
Ha ha, thanks! Another day another fact! ;-)
Yeah, I just read that Chapulin Colorado is a brazilian regional release of Ghost House! They apparently replaced the sprite of Mick by a mexican character called El Chapulin Colorado!
Many thanks, Mark!
The Magnavox Odyssey 2/Videopac G7000 was an inferior system to its contemporary the Atari 2600 as can be seen in the graphics and sound of the games. Unfortunately in Atlantis they also left out the centre cannon! Yes vote of course!!!
I immediately knew it's Mark when I saw 'Demolition Herby' on the side bar! xD Well done! Yes vote!
I like to play this on Amiga! Yes vote!
Congratulations! Yes vote!
Quality evidence! Yes vote!
Your video helped me understand this game! I only have a very low score so far. Maybe I can improve soon! Live long and prosper!
Well done! Yes vote! Looks like a good game!
Thank you! :-)
Ja, alles klar! :-)
Genial tengo curiosidad! ;-)
Oh, this will get interesting! I'll play it on Atari 2600 emulated tomorrow!
Many thanks, Garrett!
Schade, dass gerade jemand auf alles ohne Video mit nein stimmt! Ja von mir!
Many thanks, Omar! Do you know Submarine Commander? I think I'm gonna play that next. I also got my Sega Master System out of storage today. I've got a few good SMS games that I'd like to play.
Yes here too!
Willkommen bei highscore.com! :-)
Good evidence! Yes vote!
Yes on ALL!!!
Good setup of evidence! Yes vote!
Excelente, sí vota!
To the no voter: your conclusion that 'the score doesn't match the score submitted in the evidence' makes me think that you didn't watch the video where the built-up of the score is clearly demonstrated.
Ha ha ha! This game is totally bonkers! xD YES vote!
Back in the day I used to play Centipede A LOT! Today I don't have it on cartridge no more! I got to change that! Yes vote!
Thanks for your vote! Pinball Fantasies and Pinball Dreams on SNES are compilations with some good pinball games!
Nice one! YES!
I only played Rampage a couple of times so I have to find out myself soon! ;-)
Well done on beating my score! I hope I can bring a better score soon! Yes vote of course!
Thanks a lot! :-)
Okay, it's time to play Pac-Man again! Your score will kick me out of the top 10! Well done and YES!
I'll try it again some day!
Thanks, Omar! I'm sure you can win it back!
I find drifting and jumping really difficult in this game! I've not yet found out how to effectively use the power drift!
Excelente, furiosa carrera! Si!
Successful run starts at 2:13min. Thanks for looking!
Starting in world 1-1 I already crashed out in World 2-1. Not a huge score so I hope photos will do. They're snapshots from my video. First picture is the final score before the Game Over screen appears (unfortunately score is not shown again).
Ach so, okay! Es ist auf jeden Fall ein JA von mir! Schönes Wochenende! :-)
You should try it! I bet you like it! Thanks for your vote!
Then you already beat me on video game knowledge! Thanks for the information! :-)
Toshinden Battle Arena is one of the 20 emulated games on the Playstation classic mini console. If I remember correctly it's the first 3D fighting game ever! This is the first game of the Toshinden series. I used to play the second part of this game a lot with my brother. My favorite character is Eiji, but Duke and Kaijin are also great! I didn't like to play Mondo and I'm pobably worst if I'm pitched against Fo, my brother's first choice! LOL!
Awesome! You have saved Human Race from its extinction! Twice!!! ;-) Well done and YES!
Awesome new scores! Yes on all!
Du hast Recht, Zeit zum Spielen muss sein! ;-)
Ist das Schwierigkeit B oder sogar A (siehe Schalter)?
I love these kinds of encounters and stories! Thanks for sharing them! I just had a look: ComFest seems to be a music and arts festival! I bet you enjoyed it!
Nice improvement! Quality evidence! Yes vote!
Well done! Yes on both your new scores!
Many thanks, much appreciated! :-)
Yes vote from me! Thanks for the video! Interesting game!
Great score! I still have to deliver for this game! ;-) Yes vote!
Thanks, Omar! There are charts for the games 1, 4, 6 and 7!
Sorry, my avatar is not lit very well. It's below the telly, left hand side. Thanks for looking!
xD Brilliant! Yes vote!
All correct now! Yes vote!
Looks very similiar to River Raid!
Yes vote for your 25.570! However you even scored 2.000 more, my friend!
Yes vote! Great score!
Well done and yes vote, Omar! Let's see if I can beat this! However if I play game 7 I want to play the others too! ;-)
Thanks a lot!
I've never played games on a Vectrex! It's probably very rare today, isn't it? I've thought about getting a Philips Videopac G7000. It's a console I know from a friend from way back then. I remember I didn't find the games as good as the ones for Atari 2600. However it would be kind of nostalgic to run some games on this console again! Also maybe they're not so bad after all? Enough of my ramblings: yes vote for your score! ;-)
Yeah, I thought about this! I bet you rule the charts there, eh?
RACK-RACK-RACK! Sounds like a real joystick killer this one! xD ... Yes vote of course!
The good thing about collections of emulated games on devices like the Atari Flashback 3 is that there's always a chance to find a good game that you've not known from back then! There's a good reason this game is not widely known: apparently it's a prototype that's been shelved for mysterious reasons! Fascinating!
It's a yes here!
I really appreciate your close scrutiny of submissions! This certainly helps raising the quality and credibility of this site! It's also good practise to voice one's doubts before voting. Many thanks!
Yes vote! Auf Wiedersehen, Frankie! ;-)
Thanks for bringing this up! I should probably always leave a comment when posting scores for Atari Flashback 3: When I requested some games for the Atari Flashback 3 I was told by the platform admin S.Baz that I should rather post the scores for it under Atari 2600 emulated as (other than in exceptional circumstances) requested games will no longer be added to the Atari Flashback 3 category.
Successful run starts at 1:36min. Thanks for looking!
Meisterlich! Yes vote!
Many thanks, Jay!
Primero SI voto! :-)
Is the reversal of switches somewhat common for clone consoles? Makes it really difficult to tell the settings! Thankfully the length of the rope is indicating! Well done and yes vote!
Welcome to highscore.com! Well done! Yes on all!
The main difference is that an emulator would just extract the cartridge for its ROM file for emulation, whereas the RetroN HD is an NES clone that functions nearly exactly as an NES console. I'm voting yes!
magnifique! premier vote oui!
Sorry for being a pain, Omar! I just loves this game!
The game is nice and annoying at the same time. I bet you know what I mean! ;-)
Emulated by the Atari Flasback 3 device. I was told by the platform's admin S.Baz to post the scores for it under Atari 2600 emulated as (other than in exceptional circumstances) requested games will no longer be added to the Atari Flashback 3 category.
Emulated by the Atari Flasback 3 device. I was told by the platform's admin S.Baz to post the scores for it under Atari 2600 emulated as (other than in exceptional circumstances) requested games will no longer be added to the Atari Flashback 3 category.@Omar: Do you remember I announced a score for Frog Pond 4 months ago! Better late than never!
Nice that you're back here with a fresh Amiga score! Yes vote of course!
Good evidence! Yes vote!
Many thanks, Bamse!
Yeah sure I also post low scores! It's only that I don't post all my scores. It's also fun to play without posting. However most times I try to achieve a goal so there's also this element involved.
Thanks, Omar! And I bet you'll beat me again! Remember Battlezone! ;-)
I got to get this game for Atari 2600 again! I used to have it as a kid. Now I have it on Atari Flashback, Jakks Pacific Joystick and Playstation 1 but for me there's nothing like the Atari 2600 version! ... Well done and yes vote of course!
Interesting, yours got different games on it! The 32-1 is one of my most used cartridges as it's full of good games! Your first atarimania link lists which games are on my cartridge!
Thanks, Omar! I'm just about to also submit for Expert/A! I'm only saying so much: It will be sensational!
Played F-Zero: embarrassing scores (no posts)! Bowling game 5 is on its way, Air-Sea-Batlle? Yes, I could play that again too!
Nice move to include your HS homepage as ID in the background of your video! Yes vote!
Alles klar! Ja!
Well done, yes on all!
Well done! Yes from me!
Yeah, I understand your indecision! I got an original Amiga Fever Forever sticker, cold laminated it and stuck it to the wall of my retro corner. It's a good way to preserve the sticker and it may still be used later. ... Fascinating facts about the creation of the Mario character!
Yes on all your F-Zero scores! My Stampede series is completed for now. I haven't decided about my next: Bowling or Freeway on Atari 2600 or F-Zero on SNES!? Or yet a different game!? Too many good games, too little time! ;-)
Yes vote! Nice setup of evidence! I also like the Mario sticker! :-)
Yeah, I remember! xD
Well done! Another yes here!
Well done! Yes votes on all your Wii scores!
It's really one of the best games on C64! Yes vote from me!
Thanks for the explanation! Yes vote!
So close! Yes vote!
Great game! However I don't have it on Atari 2600 only on Atari Flashback 1 console! Yes of course!
Oh man, good score! Yes of course!
Ah, I just realised! Well done and yes vote! I'll see what I can do to bring a fresh score soon!
Wow there are so many versions of this game! Yes vote!
Huge score! Yes vote!
Good run! Yes vote! ... I will submit a score for this game some day! You know I'm hooked on Stampede at the moment! ;-)
xD Thanks, Omar!
Mhh, I always wondered why they say ET is one of the worst games on Atari 2600. Now I know! ;-) Yes vote!
Thanks! I'm glad you like it! Thanks for your vote also!
Cheers mate! :-)
Great, Omar! You joined the scoreboard! Well done! Yes!
I should try to get this game too! Yes vote!
Great game! Just recently I tried to improve in this game on Atari 2600! I'm currently no. 10! Yes vote for your score!
Ha ha ha! What? Great name for a game! Yes vote!
I bought an Intellivision console on the local boot sale but couldn't fix it. I'm not too bad at fixing Atari 2600 consoles but no experience with the Intellivision. I still hope one day I find a working one for a less than crazy price!
It's always a good idea to play Frogger! ;-) Yes vote!
NICE setup of evidence! Yes vote!
Very good! Yes vote!
I haven't seen this game for a while now! Back in the day I used to play the C64 version! ... Voting yes!
Congratulations! Voting yes!
Welcome! Yes on all your scores!
Great score! Category is correct! Yes vote!
Ha ha! A man who knows his quotes! :-D
Bamse, well fought but the Empire is always gonna win this round! Hope you evacuated before they destroyed the shield generators?
Another favourite game of mine! YES!
Great to see a new Atari 2600 Popeye score here! Well done! Yes!
Welcome and yes from me!
Thanks for the video! Funny game! :-) Yes of course!
I will hopefully soon! Don't expect anything spectacular though! ;-)
Welcome to highscore.com! Yes on all your scores!
Yeah, I got it too! The game was recommended to me by my buddy Commodore72! He's got some scores on here for the F-Zero Grand Prix.
Great game! Nice score! Yes!
Gut gemacht! Ich votiere: JA!
All good! All yes!
Monster score! Well done! Yes!
Well done! Yes! ... I already practised F-Zero a bit. I'm nowhere near a decent time yet!
Thanks a lot, Bamse!
Thanks a lot!
I want that patch badly, Omar! Do you get it for any game or just game 1?
Many thanks! I'm planning to bring some more series of scores for quick and challenging games, such as for Freeway, Bowling, Outlaw, etc. Probably no big scores. Maybe something to improve on and hopefully for others to join in! ;-)
Well done! Another great score for this game! Yes vote!
Well done! It's a YES!
I like Frog Pond and I played it a couple of times already. I may bring a video for it some day! You have a good score in Frog Pond!
Score is on 3rd photo bottom left side. Yes vote!
Thanks, Bamse! :-)
I'm trying to play more games that are quick and challenging! Like the Atari 2600 classics Stampede, Bowling, Skiing and Freeway.
Yes here! Great score!
Gracias, Omar. Hay más por venir.
Yes vote! Great score!
Welcome! Great score! Yes vote!
Yes of course!
Thanks Jay! :-)
Thanks, Omar! I have set a couple of new goals for games on Atari 2600 Expert A difficulty!
Welcome! Good evidence on all your scores = yes on all! :-)
In Germany you'd be 'Deutscher Meister' (maestro de aleman) with this score! ;-) ... Well done, yes vote!
Well done, yes vote!
Thanks for your vote! There's another free table on Pinball FX3. It's called Fish Tales. I think I'll play that next!
Yeah, but my PS name is different to my highscore name! Instead I have my avatar and ROB as ID. Thanks for your vote!
Auf jeden Fall sind der Notizzettel und die Konsole echte Klassiker! ;-)
Back to some Zaccaria Pinball, Mark? Well done! Yes vote of course!
Mit Datasette! Vom Feinsten! :-)
Ah, not too bad a score! I'd just have to improve my current one a 150 times to beat it! ;-)
A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! Yes vote! :-)
Welcome to highscore.com! I'm voting yes!
Yes vote! ... Good action in this chart! My world trophy was just beaten by hyenabeast! Means I got work to do! :-)
Nice bunch of new Atari 2600 scores you brought here! Yes votes of course!
Yes vote here!
Welcome to highscore.com! Well done! Voting yes!
Welcome and well done! I'm voting yes! Great game!
I like the Activision patches! I hope I can find time to play it soon!
Yes vote! There are many good scores for this chart! I've set myself a goal for this game. So far no luck. I should try again soon.
Oh man, I'm no good at this game! You definitely are! Yes vote!
Welcome gamer! Yes vote! :-)
A photo of the screen including a piece of paper with your user name or initials may be better evidence than a screen shot. Anyone could take an image of a score from the net and photo shop their name over it. I trust you didn't but that's what the no voter may have thought. Just some friendly advise! :-)
Today on the boot sale I bought Game & Watch Gallery 3 for the Gameboy. I was sure there'll be a chart for it here. However I only found a table for the GBC version. I guess I have to request it! ... Yes of course
As far as I remember I've never played Xevious. So far I only heard good things about it. Maybe I can get it for the NES console. Voting yes of course!
Yes of course! :-)
Nice C64 console! Good score! Yes vote!
Welcome to highscore.com! Well done! I saw in the highscore table of the game you entered your initials DEV (for Devon as can be seen on your YouTube channel). Maybe you could additionally set your initials on highscore.com as 'DEV' for easy ID! Just a little advise. I'm voting yes!
Great score ! Yes vote! ... Funny, I was browsing for the Pinball Arcade on disc in a game shop today! So far no luck! Theatre of Magic was included in the free download version on PS4. However in an update it was changed to a different table! Hopefully some day I'm coming back with a fresh score for this chart!
GREAT table! Remember a long time ago I played the real table lots in my fav pub! Yes vote!
Great table! Yes vote!
First yes vote!
Wow, this looks difficult! Yes vote!
Great! Yes vote!
Yes here! :-)
Them aliens really mean it! I wonder what part 3 will be called? How about: 'Alien Attack - It ain't over 'til it's over'?
Voting yes! :-)
There's much room for improvement on all my Gran Turismo times! Thanks for the thumb up!
Yes on ALL!
Great that you joined the race, Bamse! I find it awesome that Arrowhead and you joined and bring good action to this chart! Hopefully Mark joins too! :-)
Yeah, it's a bit of a weird game! Have you figured out anything about the items you can collect? Are they only for points or do they have another function? ... Anyways, yes vote!
Welcome to highscore.com! Voting yes!
The notorious game 5! Yes vote!
Excellent, yes vote!
Great that you joined the race! Nice time! Yes vote! :-)
Good idea that! :-D Don't forget to give it high priority status! ;-)
The last race track's called 'Complex String'. Calling it that is a complete understatement! It's really crazy!
8-o Wow! Thanks for the link!
Thanks, Omar! :-)
Bamse, Arrowhead12 announced he's joining the race! Maybe you can find some time to bring your scores too?
Great! Nice to have company on these charts! The results are just chart starters and they're probably all fairly easy to beat! Thanks for your votes also!
Voting yes! ... I like this game! It's also on the Midway Arcade Treasures compilation on PS2!
Yeah, I don't bring a great many scores myself these days! However the time trials are quick to play and as the racing experience is great it's well worth playing!
I found this game at my local game shop Bachler Games. It's a great place to meet other gamers, to browse for and buy video games. In the shop I often talk about highscore.com and that it's great fun to compete for highscores worldwide and to talk about video games! Hopefully I can eventually bring new users here!
As far as this game is concerned I used to have it once but never really got into it. Maybe I'll know it better when I completed the time trials for all the tracks as they're on here. Now here is a chart starter. More scores to come. Maybe someone like to join in?
In spite of the issues with your controller you achieved an awesome score!
Well done and yes vote!
Watching your video it all looks so easy. ... If I wouldn't know that it ain't! xD
I'm still happy to have made it in the top 10 and may try for better some day!
It's also in my top 10 games! :-) Thanks for your vote!
That's an awesome score! Yes vote!
0:12min game selection, 1:25min start of successful run, 9:14min final score.
Sorry for the lack of sound. I must've switched the microphone off. Thanks for looking!
Good thing you added some ID! Voting yes!
Excellent! I'll vote on it next thing!
Wrong table unfortunately! This category is Aliens vs Predator Pinball. There's also an Aliens Pinball score board. Skipping!
No worries, actually it's great that you beat my score! Now I have a new incensitive to play it again! :-)
Welcome to highscore.com! Congratulations for beating my score! Yes vote!
Awesome score! Yes vote!
It's a yes here! Nice score!
Yes vote! ... This is so close to top spot, Mark! I don't know whether to say 'well done' or 'hard luck'! Maybe both? ;-)
Yes vote! ... Good score and nice console!
Omar, this game is also on the Atari Flashback 1 console! I've tried it out and submitted beginner's scores for each difficulty setting! You can surely beat them! Have you found your console and is the joystick still working? ;-)
All good! Yes vote!
As a kid I handled the control of the ball much better! I even remember the happy event when I rolled the game! You're right it's important to get those extra balls best first thing of each game! And: don't tilt it! xD
You're welcome, Evandro! Just recently I tried to improve my old score for video pinball but didn't succeed! I'll try again soon!
O'Skul, you got it! Yes vote! :-)
I had a PSX console with a mini screen once! I sold it as I rarely used it! I sometimes regret it but now and then I need to part from some things! ... Yes of course!
Hi Evandro, it's great that the score rolled! You can even submit a score of 1,008,358! I'm voting YES of course as you did achieve the 999,999! Very good evidence b.t.w.! Well done!
One of my favourite pinball tables! Well done! Yes vote! :-)
Yes vote! Nice score!
Oh, I just realised that I want to play this game too! :-) Yes of course!
Have you run the channel search again? The signal is in a different place than the Atari 2600! Or maybe it's this: I sometimes don't have a picture output on my NES and SNES consoles when I didn't use them for a while. I put the cartridge in, switch on, take it out, back in, switch on. When I repeat this a couple of times the picture comes back. Maybe it's one of these?
Unfortunately I never had the chance to play games on the Atari 7800 so far. However I bet the Flashback version of Asteroids is much easier! It's definitely the case with Air Sea Battle and Battlezone compared to the original games.
California Games II,Tetris Attack, Super Mario World, F-Zero, Sim City, Super Star Wars, Wing Commander, Pinball Dreams, Star Wing. Do you have any of these too? We could have a competition!
Great! Bring it on! Thanks for your vote!
The difficulty of game 5 is insane. In the end of the video there's a score of a less successful run and me removing the joystick. I thought recording another video with a different joystick would bring a better result. Only it didn't! Now here you find the setup and most successful run:0:08min: difficulty switches0:11min: selection of game 52:25min: start of successful run4:38 min: score of successful run (1204 points)Thanks for looking!
Yes on all here!
Ah, I remember this game! ... Voting yes!
Good setup of evidence! Yes vote!
Yes vote! Huge score!
You did well as captain of the Cosmic Ark in game 5, Omar! Yes vote of course! The difficulty is insane isn't it? I wonder whether there will eventually be a planet or whether it's just wave after wave of meteors? Well, I guess we'll try to find out!
Yesterday I tried game 1 but I failed to improve my old score! Couple of months ago I tried game 5 without much success. I'll try again!
I did, Omar! However I was turned into space rubble well under 1000 points! xD
Interesting game! I read something about it: it's a bit like Castlevania and styled like an NES game. Apparently it's not yet released in Europe! ... Yes vote of course!
That's right! Taz and Asterix are very similiar games!
Sí, ambos son buenos juegos! :-)
Alles klar! Ja! :-)
We got a draw, Omar! xD Yes vote from me!
Awesome score!!! Yes vote!
Many thanks for your votes! :-)
Score is shown during game play but a bit difficult to make out in the right bottom corner of the screen. Please also refer to the top ten shown towards the end. Thanks for looking!
Unfortunately due to my being unable to stop the invading alien hordes the Earth has been subjected to quite a bit of total annihilation. If you feel any inconvenience due to this fact please accept my apologies! Maybe even try this game yourself if you feel like saving the world! Score is shown during gameplay in the right bottom corner where it's rather difficult to make out. After game completion the score appears again in the game's top ten where it can be seen very well.
Welcome to highscore.com! ... Your NES console is visible in the photo and you can be identified from your entry in the game's highscore table (a name tag/piece of paper with your user name would be an alternative). It's a yes vote from me!
Looking forward to your posts on this site! If you have any questions about posting evidence or the site the discussion forums are a good place to find answers or to post your questions! Happy posting! :-)
Welcome to highscore.com! Yes vote!
Yes vote! Galaxian is a great game!
Voting yes! Great score!
I'd like get this on cartridge! It might be rare though! ... Yes from me!
Awesome score! From 100k on it's going so fast! You seem to have good practise by now! Well done and yes vote!
Battlezone is among my favourite Atari 2600 games! Yes vote!
Also thanks for your vote!
Yes it's really a fun game! :-)
Thanks, Omar! I also have some first scores on Atari Flashback 1 Food Fight! You already found your console?
Yes! ... And it's Star Wars!
Once you get into this game it's quite easy even on expert difficulty. I lost interest towards the end. Thanks for looking!
Tetris Microcard!? I think I've never seen this before! Looks great! Yes vote of course!
I remember as a kid I liked this game on Atari 2600. Maybe it's different to this version. Maybe I just liked it as it's Star Wars! xD ... Yes vote of course!
The game looks good. Unfortunately it's not been released in Europe. ... Yes vote of course!
Thanks a lot indeed! :-)
Yes from me too!
Yes vote! I've played this game yesterday on Atari Flashback 1 at the Intermediate difficulty. Today I try to beat Omar's score on Advance and then Expert setting.
Yes vote! Looks like quite a difficult game indeed! Great score!
Great score! Yes vote!
Selection of settings shown in the beginning of video. Final score best visible at 10:16min. Thanks for looking!
Thanks for your vote! :-)
Well done! Yes of course!
Ja klar! :-)
Muchas gracias, Omar!
I see what you mean! I just checked myself! Food Fight and a game called Planet Smashers is added!
I'm voting yes of course! ... The Atari 7800 is a very nice console indeed!
Welcome to this table, Omar! ... Yesterday I plugged in my Atari Flashback 1 console and hope to beat your Asteroids world record! I try again today! Watch out for it! ;-)
Es gibt anscheinend eine Person, die allen Scores ohne Videobeweis ein nein gibt! ... Von mir ein ja!
Nice score, MrMaynard! Yes vote here!
Great score! Yes vote!
So far I'm so bad at this game it would be too embarrassing to post a score! xD ... Yours is a good one! Well done and yes vote!
Interesting! I remember you said you own a couple of repros like River Raid 2 I think it was. Are they identical to the original releases?
I haven't seen a pinball score from you for a while, Mark! Well done, first yes vote! :-)
Ah, thanks for the explanation! Yes vote!
Yes on all! ... Little mistake here: check last 2 digits! Still a yes vote as you achieved the score (and even a bit higher!). ;-)
Well done, MrPong! Yes vote!
I remember this game! It was also on C64, wasn't it? I liked it for the feature that the fuel runs out and the tires wear out and need fixing in the pitstop! Requires quite a bit of race strategy to succeed! ... Yes vote!
Yes vote of course! :-)
The trophy cases are generally not publicly shown from black belt upwards! The reason being the vast amount of trophies accumulated by the most prolific users slowing the site down when they're all on public display. That's why this feature was removed. I remember I previously read this somewhere in the discussion area of this site!
Welcome and yes vote! :-)
Yeah, I thought the same about the list of games built in! Thanks for sharing your experience with this console!
Well done! Yes vote! ... I like the art work on the box!
No, I meant next time playing I'll video record gameplay in order to capture my final score! xD
Yeah, a PS4 controller, the one seen in the picture. It works alright for this game.
Well done, Mark! Yes vote! ... I narrowly missed the German Meister title in this game! I'll do a video for it as the score disappears so quickly!
Donnerwetter!!! Going for top spot! Well done and YES!!!
Top score! Well done!
Awesome score! Yes vote!
Wow! You won by 10 milliseconds! Yes vote!
You shorted yourself of a million, my friend! :-) It's a yes vote anyway as obviously you achieved the lower score before scoring higher!
Welcome to highscore.com! Good idea with the additional video! Voting yes!
I'll read the entry in your blog next. ... Yes vote!
Yes on ALL! Your scores are truely impressive!
Awesome! Yes here!
I'm currently trying out a site called cyberscore.me.uk. They also have an Intellivision platform but so far only 2 games on there (Space Hawk and Tron Deadly Discs). They have a few Atari 2600 games and loads of other games from a large variety of platforms. I don't know yet how quick they approve scores and add game requests. However it seems that the site is run by a large and active admin and mod team.
Are all Tigervision games rare? I know that Miner 2049er is. ... Yes vote of course!
:-) Thanks, Ivan! The Pinball Arcade tables are really great! Theatre of Magic and Arabian Knights are among my favourites!
Welcome to highscore.com! :-) ... I realise you're getting some no votes. Maybe that is because evidence doesn't show whether this is emulated or real console. For evidence of this you could take an additional photo of the console, game and a piece of paper with your user name on it.
Yes! 10 points make a real difference here: Meister! ;-)
Welcome to highscore.com! I'm voting yes! :-)
Well done! Yes vote! ... Gutes Video! ID und Schwierigkeitsgrad sichtbar, Score korrekt! Wunderbar! Kleiner weiterer Tipp: auf deiner Highscore.com homepage auf der rechten Seite kannst du zusätzlich deine Initialen eingeben, die du auch im Spiel verwendest. Ich freue mich auf weitere Scores von dir! :-)
I've been playing Keystone Kapers on Atari 2600 yesterday! I think I never played it before! My score was too bad to post! xD ... Yes vote on all your scores!
Welcome to highscore.com! Yes vote! ... Freut mich, hier einen weiteren Spieler aus NRW zu sehen! Lass mich raten: du bist BVB Fan? ;-)
Good competition for the top score! :-) Yes vote!
Thanks, nads! The jumping is tricky indeed! xD
Thanks, Mark! Also your 2nd and 3rd reviews are good reads! 8-)
Awesome score! Voting yes!
Absolutely awesome! Yes here!
Well done! Yes vote! ... I see you may be in contact with Mantalow? Will he post on highscore.com again? He is surely missed here!
Well done! Getting into the top 10! Yes vote!
Hey, Omar, you've been cruising past my house! Not the castle, but the small hut left side when you enter the village! ;-) ... Voting yes!
Yeah, I noticed that my name appeared in the 'credits'! I almost feel famous now! ;-) ... Thanks for the review! It's great and I like your style of writing! Also the use of videos nicely illustrates the things you say!
Many thanks, Bamse! :-)
Thanks for your vote, Omar! Stargate is a great game, isn't it?
Miner 2049er is one of my childhood favourites! The game used to crash after a while. I cleaned it over and over again and now is the first time that it was stable until I spent all my lifes! I'd be really happy if the only problem was the contacts! Maybe next I get Ms Pacman running again! :-)
Ah, I was already curious which game will be reviewed first! Now I know! :-) I'll have a look on atariage.com later! ... Yes vote of course!
It's a compatible system, so it's probably even better to only have this single category for this game. Yes vote!
Thanks 0-skul, I just posted a better score!
Thanks, Ivan! I just posted a better score! :-) Cheers!
Yeah, I agree! You may want to post an additional photo of the console and a piece of paper with your user name. This will help you getting a pass on this score! Skipping for now!
Meister!!! ... Yes vote! :-)
I think as with other arcade collections (e.g. Xbox 360 Midway Arcade Treasures) it would have separate entries for each of the collection's games on the Xbox 360 platform. In this case the games would need to be requested as they're not on here. Unfortunately requests are currently dealt with very slowly (or some not be processed at all?). I don't know whether all original platform admins are still active. Maybe they are but only occasionally.
Nice score, yes vote! ... Back in the days I used to play C64 games a lot! However due to lack of space I thought of buying the C64 mini console. Do you/anyone know this device? If so is it recommendable? I know that the C64 mini is emulation but I thought it may be a good compromise.
Deebo, I'm voting yes on the basis that I believe you scored this legitimately! ... However if someone voted no on basis of no video I'd not call that trolling. Many users are just concerned about the quality of the site (esp. if a top score with video is challenged by a score with photo only evidence). I believe these voters don't 'hate' they care! They may not even mistrust you or your score. However they may fear that a new top score based on photos alone then attracts users who may post a monster score achieved by cart frying, cheat codes, wrong difficulty settings, etc. and get it passed with a photo only! I agree the no voters could've also left a comment and skipped, but hey, the whole system here is built on peer review! Anyway don't be put off by some no votes. Maybe take is as an incentive to consider to submit video evidence in some cases. You'll get a feeling of when this may be necessary to pass a 100%. Hope you don't mind me saying this! Just a friendly advise and a yes vote for your score! :-)
The 2nd and 3rd placed guys look quite annoyed by Blanka showing-off! xD ... Well done, Omar! Yes vote!
Thanks on all! :-)
Well done on difficulty normal and hard, Omar! Now I hope you also join the score board for the easy (default) setting! You'll beat my WR I'm sure!
Well observed, Omar! I bought it weeks ago but it reqired a cleaning and maintenance job! Done! This is the result! ;-)
Thanks a lot, Mark! :-)
It's lucky that the difficulty is shown on screen with the score! I like games where this is the case. Good evidence! Yes vote!
This looks so difficult that it's difficult to imagine how anyone can survive the first attack wave! Yes vote of course!
Looking forward to your Centipede score then! Thanks for your vote! :-)
Thanks, much appreciated! :-)
Many thanks, Mark! :-)
It's a yes here! :-)
Nice one, Mark! Yes of course!
MEISTER!!! Yes vote!
Nice setup of evidence! Voting yes!
Ah, gut! Jetzt sind es schon 3 Spieler in dieser Tabelle! Ja Stimme natürlich!
This is played a bit differently when going for most lines instead of points, isn't it? Well done beating my score! Yes vote!
I was wondering what the no voter may have objected. I thought it may have been the lack of video. Although the top score does have video I voted yes. Your photo evidence and explanation are good. Also there will always be some situations where a video is not possible or not practical! I hope the balance tips in your favour!
This game looks good! Nice score also! Voting yes!
These race courses really look nice! I didn't remember that graphics are that good on the N64. It's been a while that I played on that console. End of the 90ies I knew a guy in Cologne who had the N64 console and we played some fighting game on it. I don't recall which one.
Emulated by the Atari Flasback 3 device. I was told by the platform's admin S.Baz to post this under Atari 2600 emulated as currently there will be no additions of game requests to the Flashback 3 and its successors. There could be exceptions, such as if the game is unique to the Flashback in some way. However if there is already a score board for the game under emulation it should be posted there. I heard that some of the Flashback scores that are now becoming rather redundant may eventually be joined under emulation when the site is undergoing an update.
Omar, I'll post a better score in a minute! Video pinball just doesn't let me go!
Very good! Yes vote!
Great score! Voting yes!
Thank you, Mark! :-)
This is so much better than Pac-man! Nice score! Voting yes!
Thanks a lot!
Game 3 selected in the beginning. Switch settings (BB) can be seen at 1:23min.
Run hard towards the boulders and jump in the moment when you see them bouncing to the ground. It's a matter of timing! You'll figure it out!
Game 2 selected and visible at start and end of each attempt. Successful run starts at 1:37min. Thanks for looking!
I missed out on this game so far! Maybe I should get it! Thinking of the zapping sound in Berzerk almost makes me jump! ;-)
Amazing score! Yes vote!
Orders placed! Wunderbar! Off I go to my gaming kitchen! Folks want video of beating atari2600forever's new score! Will be freshly prepared and delivered steaming hot to highscore.com hopefully soon! ;-) Thanks for your trust!
Welcome to highscore.com! :-) Voting yes!
Ja von mir! Gut gemacht! :-)
I see you managed a great score! As you spent all your lives it's also the final score. I remember on the Atari 2600 console I managed a peak score of over 100K when the game switched into the fast level. If you manage to stay in you accumulate more points. If you drop out you lose 'em again. I was thrown back and forth between slow and fast and when I was done I ended up under 100K! I will not forget for a long time as this is how I missed out on the national trophy! Well done and yes vote!
Yes vote on all, except this one, where I skipped voting. I think maybe it's the wrong video (shows stage 3 not 4). Maybe you can post it again?
Long time no see! Welcome back! Yes vote!
Many thanks, Mark! Have you ever played Gas Hog? The game is highly recommendable!
When all lives are depleted the number 2 appears on the upper left side of the screen instead of the number of lives left. Although the other scores on this board also only have photo evidence, a video showing me selecting game 2 would've been better evidence! I see what I can do to play it again with video soon! Meanwhile maybe you can trust me on this one.
Vielen Dank! :-)
Yeah, it's the freebie game in Pinball Arcade from the playstation store! Thanks for your vote!
Thanks, Omar! It's a good table! It's playfield offers quite a range of challenging objectives! I also like the dramatic voices and music.
Sip from can, jingle of coins, click-a-dee-click-click-click! Brilliant! Yes vote!
There's another one I don't know! Yes vote of course!
I got this game too now. I thought I could soon submit some scores and join the board but it's harder than I imagined! I need a lot more training before I can send a score that is not embarrassing! ... Yes for your score!
Good run! I liked to watch the video. I need to learn about this game as I struggle getting a good score! Yes vote of course!
That's a yes here!
Mark, many thanks for your research! It's available in PAL then! I just missed out on it so far! ... I like the rarity guide on atariage.com. I recently started to submit scores in the site's Atari 2600 High Score Club and looking to get more active there. I was thinking of writing a review of a game or something like it. I still need time to find my way around there though. Have you checked the HSC? The new season is starting soon and it would be great to have you there!
Yes vote! Awesome score!
Yes vote! ... Great score!
Nice setup of machines! Nice and shiny! 10× yes on your maze chases of course!
You'll beat it, Omar, I'm sure!
Nice new scores! Yes on all!
Thanks a lot, Bamse!
Final score shown at 3:17min.
I just printed out the picture of my avatar, cut it out and glued it onto a coaster. First it was a bit difficult to adjust the size of the picture to the size of the coaster. Once I found out how to do it in a paint program it was easy.
Awesome score! Yes vote!
Welcome to highscore.com! ... Yes vote!
Yes vote! ... I'm only aware of this game by seeing score submissions for it here on highscore.com. Is it a US only release? Maybe I just missed out on it so far...
... Thanks for your vote!
I'm sure they do, Omar! However instead of asking them for their names, Sir Dashley just jumped over them! ;-)
Yeah, I always lose at least one life when swinging the lianas. The crocodiles are very fast and the boulders too. It's the first time that I managed to rescue Lady Penelope in game 2! The name of the hero is Sir Dashly by the way! :-)
Yes vote! ... I just played California Games II on SNES and improved on 2 scores. The first part is a much better game though!
That's a game from a compilation I'd like to have too! Yes vote!
Well done, O'Skul! Yes vote!
I place the phone onto a small tripod. This works great to keep the camera steady!
Yes vote! ... Great game music!
Thanks, Mark! On the real Video Pinball on Atari 2600 I score much better, but it's like a different game alltogether. As much as I like the real one I get frustrated with this version.
That's a yes vote here!
Yeah, I got Mario Kart on Gamecube! I bet it's similiar too!
xD I produced a couple of pixel piles myself! Try it out a bit. I found it best to just create a graphic pixel by pixel. I first tended to overload it with details but always remember: less is more in 8bit graphics!
I got it now! I hope to get into it soon to join this legendary race for glory! ;-)
8bit painter by onetap!
Thanks, Bamse! :-) I love 8-bit graphics! I created the avatar with an 8-bit painter. You can also upload to the program a photo and it comes up as a pixel graphic! You could create your own 8-bit teddy bear! ;-)
Well done, C72! ... Yes vote!
Nice console! ... Yes vote!
Another game I don't know!... Yes vote!
Mark, the game case sits there very gut and won't fall runter! I don't want it to go kaputt! This is no proper English but then you know where I'm from! ;-)
Omar, so far I just used to press the fire button of the 2nd controller in a conventional way! xD
I remember when I played this game the first time at a friend's! I found it awesome! I still do but I obviously need more practise! ;-)
Good evidence for your score! Yes vote!
Nice one! I haven't seen Frogger on Xbox 360 before! Yes vote!
Interesting game facts! ... Yes vote!
This is a nice compilation of Atari games. I'm also interested in getting the Activision Anthology! ... Thanks for voting!
Welcome to highscore.com! Yes votes for your scores!
Thanks! Much appreciated!
Yes vote! ... Dann bin ich wohl wieder dran! ;-)
Yes here! Good score!
Yes vote! ... I'll get me name on this board soon too! ... Goal is set!
Funny, that's actually the one I wanted to play first of the requested games. I have the FB3 stored away and need to dig it out first though! ;-)
I asked S.Baz about the completed but missing FB3 games. He says there may be a mistake and they're not meant to be added. There are to many same games and similar platforms already and they're likely to become redundant. If we spot specific games that are different from others we can still request them. We can post them under emulated. I will start doing this soon!
Make it a topic in the discussions area! Silly games are often a lot of fun! Sometimes they're not meant to be silly that's even funnier! I'm already thinking about some of those games! :-) ... Yes vote of course!
Thanks for your vote! I have to improve by a whopping 4.15 seconds to win the national trophy!
Yes vote! ... Awesome display stand!
Good way to prove ID! Yes vote!
Much appreciated, thanks! :-)
Gracias Omar! :-)
Yes vote! ... Good score!
It's a yes here too!
Yes vote! ... Well done!
JML, your score is even 128, not 120! Compare to the 8 in your score for this game on hard where you scored 218. I guess I could vote yes as getting 128 includes getting 120, but I'm skipping in case you'd like to resubmit.
Yes vote! ... Awesome score!
I like the MacGuyver way to create your initials! Big YES here!
The more C64 scores I see the more I want to revisit these games myself! ... Yes vote!
I remember we've been laughing a lot about our fails in this game! Haven't seen this for a while so thanks for the video! ... Yes vote!
Nice improvement and new top score! Yes vote!
Ich zocke immer gerne mal zwischendurch. Atari Anthology ist dafür optimal! Kleine Spiele, alle Informationen auf einem Bild. Video ist doch echt manchmal sehr zeitintensiv! Dafür eröffnet es neue Möglichkeiten (z.B. Expert/A setting)!
Ja! ... Gut gemacht! :-)
Game 3B = game 3, B (easy)
Game 3A = game 3, A (hard)
Game 2A = game 2, difficulty A (hard)
I need to see it again for all the details! ;-)
Game 2B = game 2, difficulty B (easy)
Nice one, yes vote!
Remember the film 'Back to the Future II' from 1989? They time travelled to 2015! I watched it again in 2018 and that felt really strange!
Err, above I mean!
Yeah, I thought so. Read below please.
Does anybody know or even have this game? It's a low budget game that was released in 1983. In Germany it was distributed by a large mail order company (here the game is called 'Bobby geht Heim'). It appered in other european countries too (Bobby is going Home). Not sure whether there are other than PAL versions of this game. ... Right now I'm the only competitor on this board but I uploaded video evidence anyway in case you're interested in the gameplay. Maybe there are even people out there who have this game and would like to challenge my 'world record'?
First yes vote! Happy score chasing!
Well played, awesome score! Voting yes!
Reminds me that I have work to do on Atari 2600! I tried to challenge your top score there but no success! Nevermind, at least I'm German Meister! ;-)
Ha ha! Very artistic! :-) Yes vote!
First yes vote! :-)
Not only from Pitfall but also from Crackpots! Compare the walls with the red bricks and flower pots!
Apparently a Space Invader style arcade shooter! Is it any good? ... Yes vote!
Actually the Pacific Northwest is one of the regions I'm interested in! But as Mark said above it's a vast country and even this region alone is huge!
Nice improvement! Voting yes!
I bet this game is difficult to play with the controls of this handheld! ... Voting yes!
Yes vote! Very good score!
Good score! Yes vote!
I vaguely remember to have played this at a friend's a long time ago! It's good to see it here again! :-) Yes vote!
I like your setup of evidence! Yes vote!
8-o This looks like a real tough game variation! ... Yes vote!
Yes vote! ... Great score!
Unfortunately camera was out of focus when the score showed. Only a last bit came in focussed and I could save a picture of it.
Thanks a lot indeed!
The score is only briefly shown at 09:06' and barely visible. Therefore refer to snapshot of the score below please.
Yes vote! ... Good score!
Yes vote from me!
Yes vote! I was surprised to see that there are so few scores submitted for the game variations of Stampede! I have a score for game 1 but wasn't able to improve it so far...
Ha, ha! I think you may see this setup soon again! I'm planning another series of Atari Anthology highscore challenges! ... Also, thanks for your votes, Mark! :-)
Many thanks! It's good news to hear you're back for the action on this site! :-)
Final score at 7:08'. As it's only briefly focussed also refer to photo of the score please.
Yes vote! ... I'm still looking to get this game too!
This is really a great result! Well done! Voting yes!
First vote and it's a: JA! :-)
Mark, is this game 1 or 2? Game category indicates game 2 but photo and your notepad say 1. Skipping!
Well done! ... Yes on ALL!
I'll try it out next time! Thanks! :-)
Omar, do you mean: 'Roar, roar, roar, UP!!! Roar, roar, roar! Bam, scramble, dash!'?
Successful run starts at 11:48'. Game 3 selected before each attempt. Avatar and switch settings can be seen in the beginning and the end of the video. Final score at 14:17'. Thanks for viewing!
This game is currently played on atariage.com. Are you on there too?
Awesome device that! ... Great score also!
Ah, another new game on Amiga (released 2018!)! ... Yes vote!
JML= Jedi Master Luke? I was always wondering what it stands for! ;-) ... Yes vote of course!
Is it even possible to play this game WITHOUT bouncing up n down to its music? This game is so funny it hurts! xD
Great score! I would have joined the score run on atariage.com but I don't have this game! Yes vote!
A truely strange pinball game! ... Yes vote!
Yes vote! :-)
I use a Sega Megadrive/Genesis controller for my SMS2 console. As it's also 9 pin it works. First I tried an Atari joystick but I wasn't aware that 2 buttons are needed! xD I can also imagine that an SMS controller would be more comfortable for some games on Atari 2600!
First yes! :-)
De nada mi amigo! :-)
Welcome to highscore.com! The picture of the light sixer convinced me that this isn't emulated! Well done and yes vote!
Yes vote! I like this version much better than the one on Colecovision!
Omar, I think you accidentally entered the preset 1st ranked score (initials are TAK). I think you're the score in 3rd place of the highscore table (initials are OFP). Skipping!
AWESOME!!! Yes vote!
I like this game but still need to get used to its controls! Yes vote!
Avatar and console seen in the beginning of the video. Played at default settings (difficulty easy). Final score seen at 8:40' to 8:46'. Thanks for looking!
You may want to set your initials to match initials entered for a score! ... No problem as your user name is in the text box and you took a photo of the screen! Well done!
I like that you took a photo of the screen instead of a screenshot! The textbox with your user name and information about the emulator is a good idea! Yes vote and welcome here!
Danke, C72! :-)
I remember I've played this game lots at a friend's but don't recall the gameplay now! Just seeing the name and the picture ring a bell! ... A big YES!
Yes vote! Great time! ... Mhhh, I'll have a look whether I can get this game too!
Yes vote! I like your collection of consoles! And the awesome TV!
Again, this is a nice story you're tellling! ... I've never been to the USA although since childhood I was fascinated about its people, history, culture and many places in different states! This fascination was nurtured by literature, (pop) culture and especially movies. It's only equalled by my fascination about the UK (where I lived for quite a while). Maybe one day a dream comes true and I visit the USA! Only problem is there are so many interesting places that I wouldn't know where to start! ;-)
Optically it may not be very appealing but on the plus side the SMS2 console has a game built in and it uses less space due to its more compact dimensions. ... I have to defend the poor thing a little bit now! ;-)
Thanks for all! :-)
C'mon, Omar! It's your turn now!
Yeah, the old space issue! xD
Ha, ha! That came straight from the heart! xD You could bring it as a topic, like: 'What do you think are the 3 most beautiful and the 3 ugliest consoles?'
Nice one, JES!
Yes vote! ... I didn't have much success with games like Defender or Chopper Command so far too! I've never played this game! Is it a ZX Spectrum exclusive title?
Improving my PB!
Avatar, console, cartridge shown in beginning and end of the video. I show switches too but they don't have any effects in this game. Selection of game 4 shown from 0:12' to 0:16'. Closeup of final score at 13:36'. Thanks for looking!
The game is good, but more difficult than I thought! Well, at least it's a start!
Set goal to beat it? Yes, set goal! ... Done! Now off to playing it! :-)
Great game! I have it on Amiga! Yes vote!
Ja Stimme! Gut gemacht! :-)
Thank you, Evandro! :-)
Yes vote! Nice score! :-)
Vanguard was one of my favorite games as a kid! If I remember correctly it's the first multi directional shooter!
Setting a new benchmark here, eh? ;-) ... Do you know what license 'a', 'd', 's', etc. means?
I've recently got this on cartridge for the Sega Master System console. I was planning to play it a bit more. However I'm saying this for other games too! ;-) ... Yes for your score!
Yes here! ... It's a relatively new Amiga game as I just learned on the internet! I even watched a gameplay video. The game looks really good!
I've played it on Dreamcast a couple of times! Good call that you requested Arcade mode! What's the difference between arcade and original mode again?
I've got a european model 2 SMS console. It has only one game built in: Alex the Kidd in Miracle World. Others come with Sonic the Hedgehog built in. The SMS games I got on cartridge are Double Dragon, Bonanza Brothers and Forgotten Worlds.
Good idea! I'm looking forward to your high score submissions!
Avatar and settings shown in the beginning and end of video. Successful run starts at 2:52min. Final score shown at 3.34min. Thanks for looking!
Thanks for joining me on this score board! :-D Good scores for the start! The competition will improve our efforts further I'm sure!
Avatar and difficulty settings shown in beginning and end of video. Game 5 selected before each attempt. Successful run starts at 5:30min. Thanks for looking!
Yes vote! Nice score!
Yes vote! Awesome score!
I'm skipping for now! In your photo voters will look for a name tag with your user name on it or for matching initials. Providing these in your submissions helps voters to identify that the score is actually achieved by you. ... It's nice to have a new user so welcome to highscore.com! I hope you're getting into things here alright! If you have any questions feel free to ask folks here! Happy posting!
GREAT score!!! I need to get this game too! Yes here!
Beamrider is a highly recommended game I never played! Looking out for it! ... Yes vote!
Crystal clear! Thanks! :-)
Wow, nice and shiny 6er! :-) What repairs were needed? I have a couple of maintenance and repair projects myself. ... Big yes for your Dig Dug score of course!
Difficult game, isn't it? I played it on Playstation 2 Midway Arcade Treasures. It jangled my nerves a bit too! ;-) I like it anyway! ... How did you manage to film gameplay in arcade?
Ja, es ist super! Eine gute Portierung von der Dreamcast! Danke nochmal für das Geschenk! :-)
Wait, I think your score is 34,100! Look at Kernzy's and S.Baz' scores in the game's highscore table. Compare the 3 and 8 in each score. The 2 digits do look a bit similar but if you look closely you'll see. I nearly missed it myself! 8-) Skipping my vote!
Thanks a lot indeed! ... BTW today on the boot sale, I saw a run down Intellivision next to a grubby Atari 2600 console! Looked like real missions to me, so I bought them!
Reminds me that I got this game on cartridge! However I have a couple of new games and it takes time to get into them! ... Yes of course!
Yes vote! ... Nice score!
Hang on, do you mean like King's Quest, Space Quest and Police Quest? These are the Sierra adventures I know and they're great!
Mark, some of the platforms are not included indeed, but the search should show results for the Playstation 2 both authentic and emulated (only original mode, not arcade mode). You can also try 'advanced search' type 'Crazy Taxi', choose platform Playstation 2 and then 'show only games without scores'!
Table starting score! Scores submitted for Crazy Taxi on other platforms don't show the small change so I left it out too.
Nice setup of evidence! Yes vote! ... I also like your stories about the Atari sales! :-)
Thanks for your votes, Mark! ... I can imagine that you put that controller on your wishlist. It sounds cool!
Game selection from 0:16min. Successful run from 1:05min. Thanks for looking!
Ja! ... Gutes Spiel! Könnte ich auch mal wieder spielen!
First yes vote! Nice score!
Game selection from @ 0:08min, successful run starts @18:24min, close-up of final score @ 25:51min. Thanks for looking!
You're welcome, Mark! ... I remember the first time I saw Defender II on Atari 2600! My brother and me was at a friend's who had it: The awesome laser beam of the space ship! The star gate beaming! The aliens! ... Seeing scores for great games here often brings back memories!
I wonder how many versions of Battlezone on how many platforms there are! It's a great game, so it's no surprise there's lots! ... Yes vote!
Game selection @ 0:11min, final score @ 6:19min. Thanks for looking!
Yes, that are the two I know of. I never played Midnight Magic though. Video Pinball on Playstation 2 compared to the original feels like playing a different game (not in a good way!).
Wow, that was a lot of racing scores! Yes on all!
I played it a lot on Atari 2600 but it was never one of my favorite games. ... Thanks for your vote! :-)
Waiting for you to join in, Omar! This is difficult to play with a game pad! Apart from this it feels quite similiar to Battlezone on Atari Flashback 3.
Yes vote! ... I read the article about the development of Froggie with the Pokey chip on Atariage.com! It's fascinating that there's still new games being made for this console!
Yeah, it's good value for money! Did you get your Activision Anthology on Playstation 2 yet? ... Thanks for your vote!
Yes here! Nice improvement!
Yes vote! ... Ist das Spiel gut?
You should've seen it before it had the works! ;-) Thanks for your vote!
I would have thought that a Sega Megadrive/Genesis controller works on all Atari 2600 and 7800 with joystick controls as it's all 9-pin!? The other way around wouldn't work as of the limited active buttons on Atari joysticks.
All Sid Meier games are great! The Civilization series is also hugely popular!
Yes vote! ... This game is probably much better when you play it at Christmas time ... not! xD
And yes votes on all of them! ... I've never heard of this game before I saw your scores for it here! Checking out availability I realised that it appears to be a US only release!
Mark, sorry, but there's a little mistake here! Your score is 24,050. The 4 is funny shaped and it can easily be misread as a 9. At first on some other game with these digits I also had trouble telling them apart. However if you look up the other boards for Defender there are scores with 4s and 9s to compare. Skipping voting!
Yes on all! ... I finally had time to play Pirates! on Amiga today! Took me a good part of the day to complete! Not as good as your score but it was great fun to play again!
Yes vote! ... Well played!
Nice one! Yes of course!
Yes vote! ... Good score!
Many thanks! I playing this for most part of the day today! Time well spent I'd say! ;-)
Yes vote! ... HUGE score!
Voting yes on both your pinball scores!
Well done! Yes vote!
Good to hear that you managed to hook up your Atari 7800 console! Looking forward to your new Atari 2600 & 7800 scores! Yes vote for this one! :-)
Avatar, console, cartridge and settings shown in the beginning and the end of the video. Successful run starts at 9:22min. Thanks for looking!
Improving my PB! Successful run starts at 0:44min. Thanks for looking!
Voted yes on all! ... The pictures look somewhat familiar so I think I may have played the game myself (a long time ago)! ;-)
Many thanks! ... Welcome to highscore.com! It's nice to see another user from NRW here! Your avatar suggests we'll see some fresh Atari 2600 scores here soon, right?
Many thanks! ... let's see how long it lasts! I invite everybody to beat it! ... The score may not appear as a big one but it was ststill very hard to achieve due to terrible controls! This game should play much better on the Jakks Atari TV Paddle console, but hey! everybody will have the same challenge here!
^^ I'm trying again some day, but so far I'm quite happy with my 84K!
Each level has a different musical tune don't it? ... Yes as always!
Thanks, thedarkbanshee for finding out about the difficulty settings in the first place!
Pressing the select button and directions left and right allows to switch between difficulty settings (see directions shown in video and photo). In the video before starting the game I switch the paddle a couple of times from large to small to show the difference between the difficulty settings: normal (large paddle) and expert (small paddle). Successful run starts at 4:50min. After conclusion of the game I show the paddle difference again for easy identification that I achieved the score with the small paddle. Thanks for looking!
Welcome! Yes here!
HUGE score! Congratulations!
Awesome score! ... Voting yes!
Thanks! ... Do you want to join in? It's a fun little game!
Awesome score! An epic battle for the top spot!
Welcome to highscore.com! ... It's great to see more Amiga scores here! :-) ... Mark gave you good advise! Thanks for including the photo with the Amiga 1200 console! ... Here's another yes vote!
Thanks, Mark! ... I'll go and have a look for your new score now!
There's a spiked trap I didn't figure out how to pass yet. Well, at least an improvement of my PB! :-)
Thanks for letting me know! I'll check it out!
Voting yes! ... Great score!
XD ... Them demons never do!
I like Demon Attack! Yes on all!
Great score! ... Yes here!
Must get it too! I love Activision games!
Great score, BM! Yes vote!
Nice score! ... Yes vote!
Mark, are you still also playing games on the real Atari 2600? I saw many of your old scores here but as far as I remember no recent ones.
Congratulations! Absolutely awesome score! I love this table!
Concluding from the list of games Activision Anthology is a great compilation and I'll get it if I can find it at a good price. Atari Anthology also includes great names but so far I find some don't play and feel like the originals. It's still worth having for the competition here on HS! So the answer to your question is: get both! ;-)
Why am I not surprised? ;-)
First time I see a Jakks Pacific paddle console! It looks great! Your score too! ;-)
Huge score! Well done!
Great game, great score! Yes vote!
Switch settings and avatar shown in the beginning of the video. Successful run starts at 12:08min.
A combination of Frogger and Q*bert sounds just like my kind of game! ;-)
Why not? I'd love to see some new authentic Atari 2600 scores from you! ... Yes vote!
Nice set up of evidence! I don't think I ever played this game but I'm considering to buy it!
I remember Ninja Gaiden. Don't know which system I played it on back then, probably Amiga.
Jakks Pacific Atari TV Joystick console, unchanged settings (default) and avatar shown in the beginning of the video. Successful run starts at 1:18min.
Very similiar to Double Dragon, isn't it? I didn't know this game. It looks good! ... Yes vote of course!
Omar, I will be no match for you! Maybe if I practise more. However I was never good at this game! Last time my brother visited me, the game caught his attention. He used to be very good at Double Dragon! Maybe I can convince him to play and post here again!
Evidence looks good to me! Settings match those in Frankie's video (beginner seems to be default). The other scores don't even have video. Congratulations! Yes vote!
Interesting way to ID your score! Good idea especially when there's little light in the room! I've seen your PS3 console in one of your other scores! ... Yes here!
Ha, ha! Double Dragon again! This game appears on so many platforms!
Good competition for top spot! Yes vote!
Yes it would be time as I'm about to lose my top spot in Boulderdash! I also recently played Castlevania Adventure on Gameboy. A game I used to play loads as a kid! Only now I find it more difficult! XD
Nice one, Omar!
User name is written on the paper sign above the TV! Yes vote! Nice score!
Welcome to highscore.com! Great score! In your video you show the console and there is a sign on the TV (I saw in your other post that your user name is on there)! I'm voting yes! :-)
It took me a couple of attempts to get this score! Successful run starts at 23:45min. Switch settings can be seen in the beginning and the end of the video. Thanks for looking!
Game selection from 0:15'. Final score shown from 2:16'
Well done! Yes vote!
Fühlt sich ganz anders an als das Original, oder? Die Flipperarme sind vergleichsweise langsam, was etwas frustrierend ist. Gut gemacht!
Game 5 is quite a challenge, eh? Well done! First yes!
Well done! ... Yes vote!
I think there is also a PAL SMS console where Sonic the Hedgehog is built in. I'm not completely sure though.
Same here: yes and great competition! :-)
Yes vote! What a competition for the top spot!
Welcome to highscore.com! Great score! My vote is yes! It's clear to see that ARA stands for your user name aralani. In your account you may want to additionally set your initials to ARA. If you can't leave initials in a game you can include in the photo a piece of paper with your user name on. Also consider voting for other users' scores to collect points and to participate.
This game looks good! Awesome score!
Thanks, Omar! I have 3 carts so far: Double Dragon, Bonanza Brothers and Forgotten Worlds. The console also has Alex Kidd in Miracle World built in.
It is the second model! It has only one game built in. The other SMS games I own are Double Dragon, Bonanza Brothers and Forgotten Worlds. I have very little experience with this system.
Sorry about the bad video quality! I didn't have much time as later some friends come over for a pen & paper role playing night! Beer is chilled and snacks prepared!
Console and avatar shown in the beginning. No cartridge as game is built in console. Score shown at 4:50min. Thanks for looking!
Console and avatar shown in the beginning. No cartridge as the Sega Master System 2 has this game built in. Score shown at 4:50'. Thanks for looking!
8-o You finished that final boss real quick!!! Great score, yes vote!
Well done: Weltmeister! ;-)
Correct, switch settings have no effect! Good score!
Amiga fever forever! ;-) ... Many thanks!
Great, bring it on! :-)
It's much more fun if there's a crowd competing for the high score! So you're right, we need at least 3! ;-) ... Come on all, join the action! :D
Eddie, the score on screen appears to be different to the submitted one. Maybe the wrong picture? Skipping voting...
Game 6 selected in the beginning of the video. Switch settings, my avatar and final score shown from 3:05min.
Omar, I thought your score for this game looked so lonely! Now it has some company!
(Game 4 selected in the beginning of the video. Switch settings, my avatar and final score shown from 3:00min.)
Yes vote! ... Skillfully played!
Well done, Omar! One of my all time favorite games!
It's been a while since I played this! I've got Pirates on original Xbox but the Amiga version is the best!
Great! I just saw that some of your previous scores are for the Atari 2600! It's my favorite system! :-)
At first I was confused as the title of the game is different to the one on the screen. I looked it up and now I know it's the first game of two on Pinball Jam: Elvira and the Party Monsters! All correct! ... Great score! Yes vote!
Awesome! Your video is even featuring a Donkey Kong board game! ... Great score also! ;-)
I got 4 games so far: Alex the Kidd (built in), Double Dragon, Bonanza Brothers and Forgotten Worlds.
Yes vote! ... My Sega Master System is now set up and I have 4 games so far: Alex the Kidd (built in), Double Dragon, Bonanza Brothers and Forgotten Worlds.
Awesome score! Yes of course!
Awesome score! ... Yes vote!
Thanks for clarifying! Yes on all!
Yes! ... Nice one!
It's really difficult to estimate the height of flying objects in this game (including the own spaceship's). Additionally there are barriers that are not easy to pass. I guess these two aspects of the game lead to some frustration! At least it felt that way last time I played it! ;-)
I've always been very bad at playing Space Invaders! Really stressful when the aliens start to move quicker! xD ... Well done!
Well done, SCP! :-)
Gute Idee so ein Computer Club! :-) ... Yes vote for all!
I like Atari 2600 Bowling! Good score!
Nice setup of evidence! Great score!
I'd like to vote yes on all your scores. I don't doubt that you achieved them. However did you play them on an authentic NES console or is it emulation? Maybe I missed something but I can't tell from the video. Skipping for now!
Well done! ... Game 5 is really difficult! And I thought I had a good score! xD I have to try harder!
Wow Mark, I checked out your list! Awesome! ... I am interested in homebrew games, but I don't own any as of now. A while ago I watched zeropage's video (currently placed No. 1) and I knew that Wall Jump Ninja is just my kind of game!
Willkommen bei highscore.com! ... Voting yes!
My most wanted homebrew game! :-)
This is actually a very helpful review of the game! Many thanks! :-)
I'm looking for an Atari Jaguar since I first saw it! However it's really expensive! Must be because of its limited release (~300,000 units) ... or because of its great looks! Or both! :))
Yeah it looks great! I was just joking! Correct is to say: a robot lawn mower looks a bit like an Atari Jaguar! :-)
The Atari Jaguar looks a bit like a robot lawn mower! ;-) ... I like it, great score also!
You really like your fighting games, Omar! ;-) I'm rubbish at most games of this genre. I remember my brother beat me nearly every time at Toshinden Battle Arena II on Playstation! He would pick any character and I didn't stand a chance with my favorite one!
Nice score! Yes of course!
I was always curious about this game, but so far never played it. ... Voting yes!
Thanks, Mark! I'll go and check it out! ... There are two local game shops here. One is also a Gamestop. Their oldest games there are PS2. I was telling the guy working there about highscore.com to describe what kind of games I'm interested in. He looked a bit stunned and didn't really have a clue and definitely not the vintage games I'm interested in. The other shop is not a chain and around since over 30 years. It's still run by the same guy. He does sometimes have Atari 2600 games but (other than me) locally he doesn't seem to have many customers for them. Nowadays he's heavily focussing on online trade. The nearest retro game shop is in Appeldoorn/The Netherlands and there's one in Dusseldorf.
:-) Good luck finding one! I'm looking for it myself. I have a Super Gameboy for my SNES console to play GB games on TV but there are so many good GBA games also! It's better for me old eyes to play them on the big screen! 8-)
Wow, you're a real philosopher! And you describe the sense of nostalgia really well! I probably gotta read this a couple of times to fully understand it though! XD ... And don't worry, I really enjoy my trips down memory lane but also the present time and life ('das Hier und Jetzt' if you allow a philosophical German term)!
Yeah, I learned that only recently myself. As far as I know all the 3rd party adapters and devices to run original GBA, NES and SNES games are systems that emulate the respective authentic systems. That means the game's data is processed in a similiar but not same way as running them in original hardware. Sometimes that effects the game speed or other aspects of gameplay. The Super Retro Advance is powered by the SNES console but is basically its own system. That's why the AV cables are directly connected to the device and not the console. Same applies to other devices to run NES games on a SNES console or whole consoles running original games, like the Retron77.
Unfortunately this would need to be posted in the GBA emulated category. The Super Retro Advance is a device that emulates GBA hardware and therefore games run on it are emulated. Opposed to this a Gameboy Player for the Gamecube console would be real GBA hardware. That's why it is allowed under the rules as an exception to a GBA handheld console. There are sometimes great differences in gameplay between authentic and emulated. I hope you don't mind me saying and that this is helpful! :-) I'm skipping voting!
But then sometimes it's the other way around: as a kid I was very good at Spiderman on Atari 2600. Now when I play it it feels I lost the knack of it!
Selection of game 5 in beginning of video, close-up of console and cartridge at 4:25' (in Berzerk switch settings have no effect), final score at 4:40'. ... Watch out for Evil Otto! He's a jumping smiley but if you're not quick he'll toast you! Thanks for looking!
Well done! ... Voting yes!
I'm taking my hat off! ... Funny, I got the same green Gameboy Color! I need to find it as for some reason I'd like to play Boulder Dash! ;-)
Great score! Congratulations!
My favourite 3 pinball tables are Arabian Nights, Theatre of Magic and Addams Family!
Nice scores, Mark! I bet the event was great!
Good score! ... Yes vote!
Great game from a great compilation for GBA! :-)
Welcome to Highscore.com! :-) ... Yes vote!
Yeah, I bet you do! You got the max points out of it! :-o
Yeah, I can imagine that a rotary knob would work better! I can't believe I have missed out on this game before!
MisterVCS, now I know what you meant when you said 'Obelix wave is crazy'! ;-) ... Happy New Year!
The game is totally bonkers! I like it! ^^
I like this game! Great action, very intense! It's relatively new to me so I'm still learning to navigate the Enterprise! ;-)
The tech data of my TV quotes that NTSC playback is possible via AV. However I'm not sure whether this is relevant at all.
Many thanks! ... Happy New Year to you too!
Yeah, you're right! All those dedicated and emulation consoles feel a bit different. Sometimes that's frustrating but then it's kind of a challenge to tackle that. There's nothing like the real thing that's clear! ... I wonder whether a plug & play that I order from the US would work on a PAL TV. I heard some TVs run NTSC also. I gotta do some research into this unless you know?
Thanks for the film tip! :-) ... Voting yes! Happy New Year!
Yes vote! ... Happy New Year!
Everytime I see a score from this console I'd like to have it too. ;-) ... Well done!
Yes vote! ... Frohes neues Jahr! :-)
Arkanoid! Great game I used to play it (if I remember correctly) on a friend's C128D. I'm looking forward to a score from you!
Cheers, matey! :-)
Many thanks, Mark! ... I'll have a look for your new score now!
First New Year's Atari 2600 scores here on Highscore! Yes on all! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Successful run starts at 5:23'. Highscore table shown at 8:10' (my initials are 'RR' this time as game only allows 2 letters). Final score shown again at 8:45'. Thanks for looking!
Congratulations to your Demon Attack special trophy! It looks awesome! ... Happy New Year!
Yes on all! ... Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Mark! ... Yes vote!
Feliz Año Nuevo mi amigo
NICE score! Yes vote!
Thanks! Pixel designed it myself, printed and glued it on a beermat! ;-)
Omar, yes vote! The video shows the score. I think you posted the wrong pic though...
Thanks Mark, that's good to know! I go and check this out soon!
I like Centipede! Relentless action and great fun! ... Yes vote!
I looked this game up in case I get my Megadrive console repaired. However this game wasn't released in Europe.
Beep beep! ;-)
I'm so curious about all those homebrew games out there! ... Yes vote of course!
I played this table on the PS4 console. Well done!
Yes, I think Retron consoles are considered hardware emulation! The same applies to adapters running NES games on an SNES console. That's why they aren't allowed in the authentic SNES category and games played on them would need to be posted under SNES emulated. There are exceptions with the following adapters for Gameboy/GBA games though: the Super Gameboy adapter for the SNES console and the Gameboy Player for Gamecube don't emulate the system. They allow original games to be played on original hardware. ... I hope I remember this all correctly!
It's been brought up in the discussions area a while ago. I hope the following helps: http://www.highscore.com/discussions/topic/retron-77/1130
Yeah, good choice of game! ... The sound when you get fried is quite startling, isn't it? What platform you playing it on?
Thanks for the heads up, but that would require a lot more practise! ^^ I wouldn't mind to play it a lot though! The game is great!
Nice score and I like the cameo appearance of your Christmas tree! :-)
Well done! Very clever! ;-)
I didn't know about these possibilities! Awesome!
The history of video games is full of twists and turns that's for sure! ;-)
It's a fun little game for a while but it gets very repetitive!
I heard of masses of video games being dumped on landfills after the video game crash as the were excess production! I saw a documentary where they recently excavated a few of them! I think it was Pacman and ET games!
Thanks for your vote! ... I like your story about the game! Good memory that you remember the exact year you got it!
Ha, ha! That's from Falco!
No need for video here! Yes vote!
Yes vote here!
Welcome to HS! ... Voting yes now as it's a small score. I second what Mark said about guidelines!
Yes on all!
Yes vote! ... This console would be too tiny for me to play on but I like its design!
Good old Bounty Bob at his best!
Awesome! Voting yes of course!
Awesome! Yes vote!
Set up of evidence is shown in the beginning of the video. Activision's Laser Blast is one of the games on the 32 in 1 video game cartridge released by Atari in 1988. I scored better but recording stopped due to lack of storage capacity. Thanks for looking!
Many thanks, Mark! ... Yeah, I always found Imagic games great! I don't know how to say it, but they were a bit different and innovative. Think about the marvellous Riddle of the Sphinx, Demon Attack or Atlantis. Trick Shot is another game I like! ... Whenever I buy a used console they get a real thorough clean on the outside and if necessary on the inside! Maintaining and repairing vintage consoles is another aspect of my video gaming hobby! :-)
Yeah, knowing games from back then always make them special! In case of this game I only know it for a couple of weeks and immediately liked it! :-)
Yeah, I looked the FB5 games up already. Apart from Video Pinball it's not one of the games I requested. My completed FB3 requests are Centipede (easy&normal), Frog Pond, Outlaw (games 13-16), Air Sea Battle (A/B), Video Pinball (A/B), Asteroids (A/B). Good games to chase scores for, eh? I still hope they're available when the site refreshes.
Were the FB5 games newly added? Maybe my request for FB3 games was completed but as games also appear on FB5 they were added there? I think the FB5 console was not made for pal systems unfortunately.
My beginner's score! It's really lousy, but the game is so difficult, it felt like an achievement to have completed the whole course! XD
I bought a cheap old camping 7 inch LCD TV with an RF connection. I was curious about having something to set up for some retro gaming where I want to and where it suits. I'm not sure yet whether it was worthwhile as it's all a bit finicky to set up and the picture quality is not great. I guess maybe it was an okay investment as finally I managed to get some scores recorded today!
The more I play this game, the more I like it!
... Frohe Weihnachten!
Great run! Yes vote!
Nice one! Yes vote!
Cosmic bowling game 5!? You surprise me all the time, Omar! Well done!
Nice new scores! Yes on all!
Nice new scores! Yes on ALL!
Game 7 selected in beginning of the video. Final score best visible at 3:43min. Thanks for looking!
Great! The erstwhile so quiet category 'Bowling game 5' became a real action hot spot! Bring on your scores everybody! XD
Thank you! I won't keep the trophy for long though! My fellow countryman atari2600forever is already challenging it! ;-)
Yes on all and a happy Christmas! :-)
Yes on ALL! :-)
Nice that you're back here with a fresh score, scorechaser! :-)
Mhhh, I see what you mean now! I also don't see them when I search for a single game! However I saw all my 13 Flashback 3 requests being processed in my list of completed requests. Maybe it just takes some time until they're on here. Similiar to the monthly top scorer list where there seem to be weekly updates.
Omar, just letting you know that requests on various games for the Atari Flashback 3 console have been processed! Feliz Navidad!
The Atari Flashbacks are cheap to get here too. However I haven't found a bargain for the Intellivision or Colecovision yet! ... I noticed that you processed a couple of my requests for games on the Atari Flashback 3 console! Many thanks! Maybe you got this console too? Anyways I'll let Omar know about it and maybe we can have a little competition over Christmas! Have a good one!
Awesome score!!! Yes vote!!!
Nice to see a new score from you! :-) ... I can see that you previously scored this as it shows in the top scores towards the end of your video! Well done!
I haven't seen a C16 console for a long time! ... Yes vote for your score!
Some real 0'Skul Donkey Kong score! ;-) I like it!
Welcome to Highscore! :-) ... Great setup of evidence! YES vote! ... Nice console collection also!
Great game, great score! ... Yes vote!
Alles klar! ;-)
I like this game a lot! You're right it's difficult and yes, it can be annoying also! ;-)
Awesome score! Congratulations!
Many thanks, Omar! :-)
Yeah, I remember that I saw it before now! But I think the cartridge version is a homebrew hence I don't really know the game. Funny thing is: I remember things from 35 years ago better than if it was coupla weeks ago! XD
Hang on, this is also on Atari 2600!? I'll have to look it up!
It seems to be a tough game! Well done!
Congratulations to the Weltmeisterschaft! ;-)
YES! ... Nice score!
Well done! :-)
Evil Otto may look friendly but he's a deadly beast! XD
Well done! ... I just received this game among others today. I hope it runs okay! I remember I used to play this at a friend's!
Ha ha! Dann muss ich mir das mal holen!
Thanks, my friend! ... I find it frustrating myself to see scores but can't vote as there's not a minimal effort of scribbling a user name on a piece of paper or entering initials. Often new users just need some advise and encouragement. However some just want to drop their scores here.
Ah, you're already working on it! ;-) Maybe I should get this game too? Is it any good?
Many thanks, PJ! :-)
It's been too long ago that I played the arcade version. Too long to tell how difficult it was in comparison to the Amiga. Maybe arcade felt more difficult as inserting coins hurts more than resetting and starting over on Amiga? XD
It's not a strategy game though. More like an action/simulation game. I like the dual screen, a radar and a bridge view. The action is quite intense!
Wow! Many thanks! Lots to study there! :D
Many thanks, Mark! That's interesting as I just learn more about the SMS. I only know the most popular titles from playing them at display stands at the time. My friends an I had Atari 2600 consoles and later our platform of choice was the Amiga. Although I was interested in Nintendo and Sega there was no way to have all those consoles!
Congratulations! Yes vote!
Welcome to highscore.com! :-) ... Yes vote here!
Yes vote! Nice improvement! :-)
Gratulation zur Topscore! :-)
Great score! ... Yes vote!
I like the Amiga version of this game best!
Thanks, Mark! :-)
Great evidence and score! The principle of scoring in this game is quite peculiar indeed! I like the game from what I see in your video. I'll check whether there's a PAL version of it.
... and it's a yes from me! :-)
Yes vote! ... Welche Konsole findest du besser? Atari 2600 oder Intellivision?
Ich hab aber auch ganz fleißig für alle deine scores gewählt! ;-)
Wunderbar! Danke! :D
Na, da simmer avver ma schwer jespannt! XD
My beginner's score from the first few times playing this game.
Just my beginner's score! :-/ ... I'll be back with an improvement!
Many thanks, Mark! ... Let's have a challenge on a couple of Atari 2600 scores! Is your console ready for action? Would be great fun! ;-) ... B.t.w. I got my Sega Master System running too now!
I hope I understood your question correctly: There are many ways to record video evidence. Only recently I started to get into it myself. For now I just use my phone's camera to record a video. Then I upload it to YouTube. Then I enter the video's web address on Highscore when adding evidence.
For a quick view see in video: score rolls over at 43:46min. Final score after roll over at 1:07:38min, then switch settings at 1:08:03min.10,000 and 5,037: total of 15,037.
Thank you for your vote!
Thank you, Omar!
I find especially the latter two interesting too. For me this may be a good way to get into ColecoVision and Intelivision games! ... The name of the first Atari Flashback console is really 'Atari Flashback Mini 7800' as it resembles the 7800 console and it's also got some 7800 emulated games on board. After it's release there was much criticism as most people weren't even aware of the 7800 and were looking for that 2600 nostalgia. On top of things the console ironically runs on an NES chip and some games are not very well balanced! Flashback 2 was coming with a chip that resembled original hardware. I was told about hidden games and even a cartridge mod! Flashback 3-8 and as far as I understand 9 are all the same type of emulator but on each release they add more and different games. At least the 9th edition now allows software updates & upgrades via SD card. ... Usually after Christmas you will find brand new or once played Flashback consoles on the various online market places and can pick them up as a bargain! :-)
This is the only version of R-Type on Amiga that I know. Do you know different versions?
I already started to believe it ain't possible! :D
Same here for my new Battlezone score! Single game was only a couple of minutes but I played it like 15 times before I finally nailed it! :-)
Nice one, Mark!
Great score! ... First yes vote!
Sounds like most of it was a great experience! ... From what you're saying I reckon those events must be huge then! I'm already trying to figure out when a retro gaming expo is coming somewhere near my place! I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures of the event!
I've heard about the everdrive. It's similiar to gotek, isn't it? If disks would be more durable I would stick with them. I still like to use modules, disks even CDs more than ROMs on an sd card or USB stick.
Uh, I understand! That really sucks!!!
You really like this game, don't you? Which one's the best version?
One of my favorite games on Atari 2600!
Many thanks, Omar!
I think I don't know this game but will check it out! ... Many thanks for your votes also!
Many thanks, Mark! ... It's interesting that you mention the Sega Master System! I just bought one last week but need to do it up a bit and equip it with accessories and games. Now I know one of the games I could get for it! ;-)
Cheer up, it goes top spot! :-)
My first Amiga score here on Highscore! ... In the pictures you can see the original game disk but the game's ROM is running from a Gotek drive on a real Amiga 500 (no hardware emulation!).
Nice score, GTI! :-)
Then get well soon, Mark!
You're on a score marathon? ;-) Voted yes on ALL!
Nice setup of evidence! Great score also! :-)
Amazing score!!! ... Yes vote!
This should probably be posted in the emulated category like your other scores? If so: no problem, mistakes happen! However you may want to remove this and post again before you're getting more no votes. Skipping for now.
It's really tough! Controls like Asteroids and effects gravitation!
Nice to see a new score from you, Mark! Yes vote obviously! :-)
Welcome to HS! ... I recognise the game screen comparing it with other scores for this game. You could set your initials to GRG additionally. ... I'll vote yes!
Yeah, but the console don't seem to be very popular. My brother's got the Atari FB 1 but he didn't submit a score for a long time.
Omar, it's a yes for your submitted score of 526,229. However according to the screen you even achieved 526,929!
Lots to do for me to win back trophies on Atari 2600 and Flashback consoles! XD ... Well done!
Where did I store my Atari FB 1 console again? I got work to do! ... Well done, Omar!
Yes vote! ... I like your Colecovision Flashback console!
Well done! ... Yes vote!
Yes! ... I'm already looking to get one of them Game & Watch galleries for the Gameboy. Which one is the best? Or are they all great?
Well observed, Mark! ... I'm always amazed how well programmers of this era solved the limitations of 8-bit systems! In today's games the sky is the limit but game developers don't have to go to the edge of their creativity to nail it. Thus the old games are often better! ... B.t.w. I love the bowling guy's celabratory dance of a strike!
Thanks, Omar! I bet you're already working on a new score to beat this!
Successful run starts at 3:58min, result shown towards the end from 8:18min.
Could also be a lighthouse ... or even a joystick! 8-bit graphics, you name it!
