Nice score,Larquey!
I played in Atariage's 5200 Highscore Club Zenji last week and was able to improve my score to 38 K, (5200 version seems to be identical to 800)
You're a great opponent.
Ist Preussag nicht genauso insolvent wie Atari?
Your score doesn't match.
Transposed digits. 104600 vs. 140600
Not bad. In this head to head challenges versus the computer I most often have negative results.
Vielen Dank und natürlich ebenfalls die besten Wünsche aus Bayern!
I'm not familiar with pinball,
but of course YES!
You can watch the game play on youtube with some excellent scores.
Watch for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw6ZR4dp1uk
By the way, my personal best is in the same range than yours (about > 10K),
and I played this a lot in my youth, I can remember, this was one of my first video games.
Excellent job. I always thought this game is unbeatable, because I never saw anybody to manage all 3 stages. The key to the game seems to be exact jumping.
I wouldn't have the patience for that.
By the way, it's still an abysmal version.
I hope you will soon show Miner II
Mir fehlt auch nur die River Patrol cartridge
Hello, my Atariage friend!
What emulator do you use to play games which need the super module.
In my old BlueMSX this was not possible.
Nice score!
I never mastered the 2nd loop, too.
Even in training sessions with save state I often lost patience because it's so difficult.
This version seems to be identical with the Colecovision game. Never knew, that Tutankham exists for MSC. Where do you have the rom from?
Couldn't find it.
By the way: Yes vote, of course.
The Game is already listed as Mario Bros, there Ketil has the lead with more than 100,000 points.
By the way: The No vote is not mine.
Watch the walkthroughs on YouTube and you will beat my score soon.
Yes vote, of course.
Hello Frankie, here you are wrong.
e2e4' s best score was 3,0 not 3,8.
The digits are very similar and easily to confound.
I don't know if Kernzy had a better score, because his video proof is no longer available to watch. But I can show you my best score of 4.8 meters as an additional proof of my side.
Thanks, I will vote for your scores, too.
Thanks, I will vote for your scores, too.
Input of decimals is not possible
---> So 32 for 3,2 meters.
Similar to Long Jump
The Drelbs Atari 8bit Rom doesn't run on my Altirra emulator.
Now I want to try the 5200 Rom. Do you know, where can I find it.
Hope you can help.
Thanks,Walter.
This is the easiest version of all I played this weekend.
After beating your score, now I am wearing a black belt.
By the way, do there exist smart bombs in the Atari 8 bit version ?
Like in the other versions, Coleco for example.
It would make the game much easier.
Thank you! Yeah, the voters are a little bit lazy at the moment.
I always vote yes for your scores, but you play too many categories for me.
Most often I vote only for systems I'm familiar with, especially 2nd and 3rd generation.
By the way: I needed several attempts to beat your Zenji score. The others won't be easy, too.
Good scores !
I'm glad about our small duel.
I will try to come back....
By the way: Now Zenji for ZX Spectrum is also available on Highscore.com.
I didn't master the first round. I died very often by the rocks in the 3rd scene.
I know, it's not a good score, but enough for first trophy.
Yes, you're right. In my eyes, too, it is the best conversion for a console.
Atari 2600 and INTV versions are horrible, Atari 5200 and Sega mediocre.
Good score. The liana level at the beginning of the 3rd stage was always my certain death.
Je vous en remercie beaucoup, Monsieur Larquey.
Couldn't answer faster, I watched Super Bowl last night.
Making a video of this game is difficult, because it can take an endless amount of attempts (maybe one hour or more) to come so far after many frustrating tries before.
1st stage is very easy and makes no problems.
The rhino stage is the toughest, my tactic so far was to run as fast as I could hoping with a lot of luck not become a victim of the rhinos.
The river stage is not easy but you can become better with training. This is one of the games where pixel-exact jumping is essential. I don't like this sort of games.
Conclusion: Congo Bongo, wonderful graphics, game plan could be (much) better. In my eyes the game is too difficult.
Mediocre game. And of course, the Coleco version is even the best one on all home consoles.
All others are horrific (Sega SG 1000, Atari VCS, Atari 5200)
By the way. I only published videos on Altirra emulator for Atari 8bit and 5200, on BlueMSX I'm just learning. I made video now of another game, but I still don't know how to release.
Congratulations for your score. You've beaten my one, although I came much further. I mastered the complete 2nd stage, you stayed on the 1st.
But you jumped in every hole in the rhino scene and earned 1000 points each time. I didn't realize this method so far.
I always find it interesting when anybody finds out the weakness of a game.
Thanks, only once had such a great run. This score was for Atariage HighScoreClub some years ago.
By the way, DuggerVideo is really a fantastic Oiler. Look at his Flashback scores and videos.
Very impressive score.
I like this version very much.
My goal is to reach the 100K, some day it will happen. (I'm still at about 90,000 with my best result)
Zenji for C64 skill 3,5 and 7 I have overlooked. First trophies are yours.
Good score for game 3.
Thank you very much!
Come on and try, it's only a mediocre score.
I used to play this game over and over again some years ago, but nowadays I'm out of practice.
Have you understood the game?
You can squash the beetles with your feet.
A normal score for this game is about 100K.
I didn't vote,because you're new on this platform.
But is this really Mappy Kids? For me that's Mappy. Please check! But I'm no expert on NES.
BTW: Welcome to highscore.com!
I can' t remember exactly what there is to do in this game.
This game is easy to master at skill level one. I only needed two attempts, although I didn't play Subroc for more than 5 years.
Rolling the score at 1 million.
Photo evidence at the score of 887,800. This cost me two lives.
Than two snapshots before and after the million points.
I think this record will not last for along a time, players with more endurance will probably score some millions. My personal best is about 1,6 M.
Kernzy is not to beat at this game.
His record is a dream result.
You shouldn't insult others because of your own mistakes.
In this game you can have negative results, with a minus sign in the end.
And positive scores with a + .
You have a minus sign.
Unfortunately level 6 is as hard as it looks. In my eyes, it's the toughest level of all Miner versions. A little bit less difficult an the CV version would be the best of all.
No the letters appear by accident, and you should go for all letters of the word SPECIAL.
At the beginning of each round you see which 3 letters appear, then wait until they turn red and hurry up to collect them.
You must be a little bit lucky, don't miss a letter of SPECIAL, it can happen that it won't come again for a very long time.
When you have all 7 letters, then about 10 or 20 vegetables appear, which are easily to collect and you earn very much points.
The maze doesn't change in that bonus round.
The game is not so well known. I didn't make a video of my score, because my result was very lousy.
I never go for the vegetables. Most important thing is to collect all other letter bonuses and best is when you reached before that the 5x.
If you can collect all the letters of SPECIAL you get a bonus round where you can collect different vegetables, they are worth about 50,000 points.
But everyone has games that you can't master, in my case Frogger and Defender are such candidates where I can only reach very lousy scores.
This game is not Jawbreaker II, I requested this game a few weeks ago. Jawbreaker II is similiar to the Atari 2600 game Jawbreaker by TigerVision.
The game you played is called Jawbreaker in the Atari 8 bit collection.
Have a look at Atarimania website, there you can see the differences.
My request for a one joystick game was accepted in the 7800 system.
I hold the record there.
I remember it was your question to me, how to show evidence, that I only used one joystick.
That's the problem, I cannot.
But please try to beat my 7800 record, novice level of course. Higher levels don't make fun with only one stick.
I would be interested, what an excellent Robotron player can reach for a result.
Congratulation! But you did it with 2 joysticks, did you?
I had only one. I never played Robotron with 2 joysticks, unfortunately.
I think it's a totally different game then.
There are better versions, especially the Colecovision.
The INTV version is too slow paced. The arcade version is too hard for me.
I think, that only 10 copies exist.
But the game is not so bad, in my eyes it's mediocre. It has 4 levels and the two last ones are a little bit better.
My personal best is about 80K on a real console, but I don't have an evidence for that. I don't think that I'm really good at this game.
I don't have a special technique, just pure reflexes. In this game I often need several attempts, most of them with poor results, and then you have one good run. But in the range of more than 50 K the game is really hard.
There's an interesting technique, not for me, but for professional players, who achieved (world) records on Arcade. They don't shoot all the mushrooms, so that the screen is dense with them and the snake has only one to go down, and then is easily to shoot.
You can watch on Youtube.
I thought you were an owner of this super rare cartridge. But I see you have a multicard.
Fantastic score! My personal best is only 165 K on skill 1.
Do you use the gathering technique?
JAkks...Never heard of this thing.
But is so many trophies worth like a 1st place in Donkey Kong!
Thank you,Dugger.
Another possibility to get some extra points is in the last stage to shoot the fire balls before destroying the ship, everyone is worth 100 points.
I don't know how to insert your initials in this game.
The normal way - pressing the letters MAN - didn't work.
It's funny, I get 3 negative votes for a mediocre score.
The guy with a score of 1% less gets 100% legit.
It's funny, I get 3 negative votes for a rather bad score.
You can watch on youtube really good players doing a walkthrough through all 11 levels, I only mastered 4 of them.
After I ended the game the last digit of my score was flickering.
Joust for the Colecovision is obviously not perfect, it was only a prototype.
But I think you can't add so small points, the last digit must be a zero (or maybe a five?)
So I noted down 54000 as my correct result.
That's right! Zaxxon isn't too difficult on Level 1
I accept that score and vote YES.
But Derek has right, you should make a video ( or several screenshots) if you post an excellent score.
I just discovered this game, too.
Of course: Voting YES.
The final score of this game is gone within some seconds after the end of the game, so I made a screen shot before my last man startrd.
Go for the record of the XEGS version!
It might be tougher to beat than my one from the SuperSytem.
Best regards, Walter
For several wishes I decided to made a video of this game, what I have never done before. It was easier than I always thought. (Duration is 23 minutes and 10 seconds, what you can see on the bottom of the screenshot.)
I still have to find a way how to post it. Because I don't have any account for Youtube or Facebook.
I think, the game is a little bit too slow. But still a good conversion nevertheless.
I prefer the Arcade version.
I'm not a big challenge for you.
There are only a handful of games where I can reach a decent score.
I think, the versions (5200 and 800) are identical.
But this is actually the 8bit version, played with one joystick.
Played on real console for the actual Atariage Highscore Contest.
The score rolls at 50,000 points, what I didn't know. So I forgot to do an earlier screenshot.
Intensity 0 is easy as pie.
Played with Twin Galaxies Setting
Bases: 1 (life) and (maximal) Intensity: 9
Yes , it's a nice little Jump and Run Game. It also exists for Colecovision and there is a prototype for the VCS.
In my eyes much better than Pitfall! But very difficult, too.
An average gamer, like me, can't master many levels.
This is an intermediary result, my final score was 1,374,300.
But I have no evidence for that. The score rolls at 1 million points.
Thanks for the video. I always thought Zoom 909 is a clone of the Buck Rogers - Planet of of Zoom game from Atari VCS or the Colecovision. I didn't know the 2nd element, the level which is similiar to Asteroids.
By the way, great score.
Once upon a long time ago I managed to go through all levels. But now I can't remember the exact walkthru.
By the way, the Sega version is the easiest of all (MSX, Arcade, Famicom)
I think that the different puzzles are no singular games for themselves, they are only levels in one game. They even don't have an own score, the scoreboard continues in every level.
This is fishing for points.
If you treat all games like this one, Donkey Kong has 4 levels, Miner 2049er would have twelve, and Loadrunner maybe 100. This does not intend to the spirit of this game.
I uploaded Windows 10 and so many things don't work now. Especially my snipping tool is affected, so I took a photo of my score.
Thank you for your vote.
But in the Atariage contest I only finished as 2nd.
Played on the Highscore Contest of AtariAge (HSC 5 which I won)
I think this is a screenshot of Pac-Man from the Homebrew game Pac-Man collection.
I think to avoid misunderstandings the game title should be completed, and another game Pac-Man Prototype should be added.
I did, although I'm not very well versed in pinball games.
A bug was on your side, although losing a lot of lives you still stay at 5 lives permanently.
Maybe not your fault, more of the guys who voted for you.
