Nightmare you can just keep hitting the 50,000,000 jackpot over and over again if you get the ain right ;-)
I did a longplay of this with cheats ln my channel, level 1 is completely white!
Now, can you beat my 296,763,500 on Nightmare!!! ;-D
If you haven't voted on them already, I still need 1 vote on Arky II and Fright Night :-)
I need 1 more vote on a couple of my scores if you'd be so kind :-)
Will do, still trying to get last vote on SF1.
Dragster time of 5.61 shown at 55:53 using my PS2, achieved during the recent 8-bit challenge episode which follows several 5.64 and 5.67 runs.
Using real C64c during an 8-bit challenge episode, score is shown at 45:45, game completion, no continues, no cheats.
YES vote,...and white jacket on order! How you can play this garbage of a conversion is beyond me LOL.
YES vote, poor conversion for Amiga standards :-(
YES vote, love this conversion!
Yeah I'll give you a YES vote :-)
Can you take a quick look at my 4 scores awaiting votes please :-)
Yeah I'll give it a YES vote :-)

Thanks for the votes chaps!
YES vote here.
I still have a few needing votes on if you could be so kind.

Hmm, I think I may have a little go at this ;-)
Now that's fast! ;-)
Yes vote!!! :-)

I did, I managed a 29:93 (recorded), you did well.
I'll vote YES,....only if you could vote on my Turrican scores in return ;-)
Could you possibly vote on my TRAP DOOR score, I only need 1 more vote :-)
YES vote from me, good game!
Could you please vote on my TRAP DOOR score please when you have a moment.
Good score, naff conversion from those idiots that ruined all arcade conversions on the Amiga.
Please could you vote on my TRAP DOOR score if you have time.
I've got a couple of scores only needing 1 more vote, could you oblige unless you already have :-)
Would you mind voting on my Target Renegade score please, thanks if you already have :-)
YES vote, well done.
Could you please vote on my scores too.
Please could you vote on any of my scores especially the ones where I only need a few more :-)
Please take a look and vote if you have time on my scores, thanks!
Please check my Chuckie Egg and Trget Renegade scores for voting, I just need a couple more.
Cheers mate, how can someone tell if they've voted on a few of your scores and even all of them as I don't want to ask the same people twice :-/
So you got me on this one eh ;-)
YES vote from me, this game is ugly and far less enjoyable than the first 2 sadly.
Need 1 more vote for my Chuckie Egg score, would you oblige? :-)
DISGUSTING conversion of my fav arcade game.
2 reasons only I'm voting on this, 1st because It's SF1 and second cuz It's Ransom ;-)
A YES from me bud!
I need to get a couple of votes for my Chuckie Egg, Target Renegade and Bruce Lee if you wouldn't mind matey.
P.s, It's possible to score 9,999,990 on this game, it takes around 14hrs and requires a bit of score harvesting,...shown in my "Turrican 2 Tips" video,...I didn't do this on my high score run.
Ha, small world buddy :-)
I see you're going for the Turry2 record, you're around 100,00 behind my entry, I still need a few votes on it.
I'll vote yes for yours now.
Will do, I need to get my Target Renegade 1st place score back :-)
YES from me.
Please can you vote on my scores when you have a moment, cheers.
YES vote from me!
Please can you take a look at some of my scores too :-)
YES vote from me, good play!
Can you vote on some of my scores too when you have a moment, I've got quite a few awaiting votes.
Yes vote from me, good play!
Please could you vote on my scores too please when you can.
YES vote from me, classic old game.
If you have time could you vote on my scores, got quite a few waiting to be accepted.
Nasty game, played it on my ZX, pulled my hair out with frustration back in the day!
YES vote from me, well done!
Can you take a look at some of my scores, I still need votes on them :-(
You should try the 128k version.
Another YES :-)
Please take a look at my scores awaiting votes if you have time, thanks.
Please have a quick look at my scores awaiting votes, thanks.
Please vote on my scores if you have time, thanks.
Yes from me.
Please also take a look and vote on my scores when you have time, cheers.
Got this game myself, reminds me of WICKED where you have to stop the spawning thingies.
Yep, I believe yer, YES vote! :-)
Please take a look at my scores as they need votes when you have the time.
How can I doubt an Amiga player :-)
Please could you vote on mine if you have time, thanks.
Could you look / vote on my scores too please.
Yes vote from me, great game.
Oh, would you mind if you look at my scores too please, I have many awaiting approval such as Target Renegade :-(
Another YES from me.
Yep, I know this game so a yes vote from me.
P.s, could you take a look at my scores too, I'm still awaiting votes for many of my scores, cheers.
Hi, having trouble hitting sub 5.7 on Dragster using a PAL PS2, I just cannot hit a 5.67, any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Here's an unlisted video showing around 5 of my runs in the 5.7's, I would like to hit a 5.67 if possible: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIt2EGBOzcg
Many times my engine blows going from 3rd to 4th even though the torque bar is on half in the red,...not at the end,...so why does my engine keep blowing between 3rd and 4th gears?!
Thanks in advance, Daz
Completed on my 128k toastrack without losing a life (1 loop), the score rolls over so even though it states 72,410 at the end It's actually 172,410.
Cheers, yep I'll take a look :-)
More like a poor man's Manic Miner LOL ;-D
Cobra run starts at (4:54) achieved during an "8-bit challenge" episode where I had to beat 96,450.
I eventually completed the game with a score of 106,650 using my toastack 128.
Achieved on my toastrack model during an "8-bit challenge", time of run starts at (3:36), total score of 11,380 reaching 3rd train.
Horace footage starts after Mr. Freeze at (13:34), final score of 3080 on my toastrack as a challenge to my 8-bit challenge opponant.
Seriously fun game, first game I ever saw on the Spectrum back in the day.
This run took place on the 29th episode of the "8-bit challenge", I almost managed to complete it without continuing (reached 5th stage boss) with a score of 7,117,760.
Recorded as usual on my original 128k toastrack model.
Hope you enjoy the commentary :-)
Name inputted as DAZ which is short for Darren (my real name).
Seems good to me so yes.
Never heard of this game before but it was set as a challenge to me around 3 months agao where I had to beat 43 items, I managed 52 in the end (had to turn in-game music off though as it was causing me turmoil of the ears!).
As normal my 128k Toastrack was used for this recording.
Not a bad game but one I won't be coming back to any time soon, I'll stick to manic miner :-)
Great update compared to the original crud released back in 1984, yes on this.
Please take a look at my scores if you have the time as I still ned votes on my legit scores.
I dunno how some of you guys do even sub 5.8's let alone sub 5.7's, 5.84 is my best :-(
I'll vote yes.
Couldn't take a butchers at some of my scores could yer?! Seems I have to gain a million votes before they're accepted :-(
Yep that's very odd, I've not done anything different as far as I can see.
For a back-up I will mention that in every video I post so others will know if they cannot see it here the link will send them to the video on my channel.
It seems to play fine, I just tried it.
Hard to record an arcade machine with a crt tube via camcorder but this is the best I can do. This is my real SF1 jamma arcade machine which sits in my living room, plays far smoother than any emulator version of this game. Final completion score without continuing: 678,100. Really annoyed as I accidently killed off Sagat in 2 rounds (you can hear me almost swear the moment this happens, I was REALLY annoyed), if I went a third with hime I would most likely of hit a score of 700,000.
Recorded using my real Atari 520STfm.
I gave up just after completeing the first dungeon as it takes around 2.5hrs and there's no way I was going to do that at least another 7 times.
Recorded using my real Amiga A500.
Cannot ever seem to pass Thursday, after biting all victims and then get back to the coffin room it will not progress me to Friday and yet I cannot find any more victims, either I'm missing something or there's a bug that prevents you from passing Thursday.
Using my real Amiga A500, could have completed it without continuing but wanted to show other player near end of game so I deliberately died.
Final score without continuing: 88,010
P.s, DAZ is entered on the scoreboard which is short for Darren,...my name :-)
My favourite arcade game of all time, first started playing it back in 1988, completed it over a thousand times, also have the real arcade machine at home.
This is using MAME emulation and was achieved during my recording of a "Let's Longplay" episode, no continues used, 3 rounds with each enemy to achieve the best score, slightly shy of my post 700,000 point runs.
It is medium setting which is actually harder than the harder settings due to the fact in the harder settings you can completey block Birdie's and Eagle's attackes whereas in normal setting they use another move to get through your standing defense position.
Low score due to a perfect "no life lost" run, meaning no tower repeated so no point harvesting.
Recorded on my real A500 during a "Let's Longplay" episode,...easy game imo.
No emulation, no cheats.
Recorded this during a "Let's Longplay" episode with my 128k toastrack, completed game and score was so high that it rolled over as it doesn't display a 7th digit, so score shows 195,340 when infact the final score is 1,195,340.
As with all my scores, no cheats or emulation.
Recorded using my real 128k Toastrack spectrum on a "Let's Longplay" edition.
Very nice conversion.
Brilliant game, the first reason I bought my Megadrive 1 console which is what I recorded this on.
Naff game compared to the first 2 games but I felt I must complete it as I did with the first 2 games.
I used the my real Amiga A500 for this recorded run.
Again like my Turrican 1 run, a bit low for my standards on the score fron on this game as you can see from the high score table but I didn't record those higher scores of yesteryear.
This is using my original Amiga A500, I have another run here with less score but with commentary if this is not approved: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IXFU8i8ewY
Very easy game imo, easier than the first.
A pretty average score for my standards as you'll see my other scores higher than this on the high score table but I never recorded those.
This run is using my original Amiga A500.
I have a lower score also recorded here but with commentary if the above run is not approved: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYufmT5pp7U
I recorded this on a "Let's Longplay" episode using my original 128k Toastrack.
This was achieved last year during a live livestream which also showed the toastrack spectrum being used for the run, I was the first person to hit under the 6min mark and then gradually improved the time to a pretty flawless 5m42secs completion time.
This run is officially accepted on Speedrun.com which can be seen if you go there.
I can also provide the livestream link to this run if anyone wants further proof.
The time starts as soon as bruce first moves on the first screen and end the moment the game boss is defeated.
P.S, I've entered DAZ in the sscore board as I could not fit ZEUS in it and DAZ is short for Darren,...my name :-)
A game I absolutely loved back in the day, played it endlessly, so much faster than the other versions which is why I enjoyed it so much especially the speech and the disk swapping intro.
This is being played on my real A500, all level loading times removed so the game is fluent.
Time starts the moment level 1 begins and ends the moment I decapitate Drax on level 4, total time 3mins 49secs.
Wanted to get as close to 1 Million points as possible, went slightly over and decided to pause/end game there with a total score of 1,028,900 with 7 lives still in the bank,...I could have gone on forever.
Footage at beginning of video and end showing original toastrack spectrum.
I'll check them out :-)
Thank you, this Isn't my best though for 1 loop, that stands at 35,550 without losing a life :-)
Thanks for the vote.
I'll take a look at your records :-)
Thanks to all those who gave me a votes, I though I was going to get the usual "sorry don't count as no pic of hardware used,....or don't believe you, I reckon It's an emulator", sheesh (rolls eyes).
The way I record footage is through my dvd recorder directly from original hardware, I don't use emulators or cheats in any way when submitting scores.
Please note, Chuckie Egg footage starts right after Manic Miner in the video (36:16), as usual my original toastrack model was used and I achieved this score during the 9th episode of the "8-Bit Challenge", my opponant "Novabug" will happily confirm it is legit including my viewers as they know I only use original hardware.
As with all my ZX Spectrum footage on my youtube channel "Zeusdaz", this video has been recorded using my original 128k+1 toastrack, I never use emulators,...only arcade footage.
I achieved this during a "Let's Longplay" commentary recording, I can easily loop this game over and over again but,...I have a life :-)
Hi, emulation is banned from my channel (except for arcade footage) hence my channel being called "The UNemulated Retro Game Channel", all my spectrum footage is recorded with my 128k Toastrack, my amiga footage is recorded via my A500 and C64 footage is recorded on my C64c, I will never use emulation as It's not accurate.
Recorded using a 128k+1 Toastrack ZX Spectrum.
