Ah, I see it now. The last video shows the final score.
I think what makes more inclined to say "emulator" is just the picture quality. Composite video has a tendency not to look quite as clear.
Since you know Harry, I'm assuming you've seen "Ecstasy of Order". If not you should check it out.

Without a visible power cycle, it's hard to know if this is the original console or an emulator. Nice score though!
Impressive! Are there any difficulty settings or anything like that we should be aware of?

This looks like the GameBoy version, not the NES/Famicom version.
Here's the video:
Submitted run starts at around 7:35 after a power off/on.
Note that the game rolls over at 1 million points and the million is dropped on the final scoreboard.
Here's a link to the video:
Thanks Kernzy! :)
Trickster is correct. I should have added this from my submission at TG:
I was going for a maxout score on this - turns out that it keeps going over 1 million points. After 1 million points you no longer earn extra lives. I ended up quitting with 3 lives remaining just due to being weary of the game.
Because the lives run out and there is a timer, it's technically point-pressing as opposed to leeching. Boring though, very boring.
That's correct. It's technically "point-pressing" because of the time limit. Just like pressing the barrel stages for points in Donkey Kong.

For those that haven't played this, there is no goal for the game. It goes on forever and the rooms are randomly generated.
It's up now.
Looks like they fixed it, you should be able to watch it now.
Yeah, I don' t know what the deal is. They posted my score from earlier that day but not this one. I'll contact the mods.
Actually I see the score under "Personal Best" so it must still be there but I'll get the down-low from the admins.
Very odd. I'll talk to their site admins. Nothing special about my score - no farming or anything like that. I'll find out what's up.
You can watch the replay on RetroUprising if you're a donor there: http://www.retrouprising.com/arcade.php?act=Arcade&do=stats&gameid=4719

This game is equal parts fun and bizarre. The story says that the people in the city have all become zombies, but zombies don't yell "Help!" when they fall from buildings. >:)
Ah I see it's listed as "removed'. It still shows in the high score table though. Weird.
Hang on - this isn't Tetris 2. This is normal Tetris.
Kind of fun actually. Tetris-like is some respects.
Playback should be available up on RetroUprising soon.
I forgot to capture my name in the screen shot, but you can see the left side of the D an the right side of the S. :) The replay should be available on RetroUprising soon.
RU's version wasn't working so I used VirtuaNES.
This is quite possibly the worst game ever. Really, it's that bad.
Replay will be up on RetroUprising soon. This game was surprisingly fun!
It should be available to watch on RetroUprising as soon as it's finished processing.
This is a fake score to prove a point. Don't vote for this score. Thanks, -D

Sorry about the last one - typo. My laptop doesn't have a number pad. :(
Whoops! My bad. How do I fix it?
Incidentally, this beats the current Twin Galaxies World Record as I say in the video. Once they start taking submissions again, it's going to be the first one I send in.
Actually it even says it in the description on Retro Uprising: "Super Bombliss: Description Tetris Blast is a Miscellaneous game, developed by TOSE and published by Bullet Proof Software, which was released in Japan in 1995."
I did this on Retro Uprising playing "Super Bombliss". It's the same game though - "Tetris Blast" was just a rebranding - basically just a different sticker on the cartridge. You can watch the replay here: http://www.retrouprising.com/arcade.php?act=Arcade&do=stats&gameid=3947
I don't know this system well enough to know if continues are allowed and if the score stays. If possible, can you post the full video from the beginning?
Cool - I didn't know that about the GameGear/Master System. Good stuff.
Are you using the controller or the actual dance pad?
Yeah, this is probably the easiest max-out on the NES.
Nicely done! You should submit this on TetrisConcept.net also!
Nice! This is one of my favorites as well. Really tough game!
Thanks! It took me about 2 weeks of serious attempts to get it done and it was very satisfying when I did! :)
Between the two videos, the angle of the camera changes. Why is that?
I actually have a cam video of this attempt also. I'll splice them together to make it clear that it's me. Although I don't know if my face actually appears in the video, I'm pretty sure I say my name at the beginning.
I was messing around on an emulator and didn't record any video. No worries though, I'll break that score eventually on the real NES and get some video.
Yeah, sorry. I only have a photo. No worries though, I'm going for a max-out eventually so I'll get some video recordings.
