@Sixx: Thanks. Maybe not, 'though. This was the video I submitted to get the official Twin Galaxies high score, but I am already down to a 66.7% legit rating. Not sure what is not believable with 8 and a half hours of proof.

you probably won't have too many challengers with this score any time soon  ^.^

I think you actually got the world record there!  Besides Todd Rogers I've only found one more evidence of someone breaking 1million (Random Terrain, Season 4, Week 5 of AtariAge High Score Club - 1,013,197), but he left E.T. in a hole & went to sleep about halfway through the game & said it took him a total of about 12 hours.

as far as that legit rate %, it looks like you've only gotten 1 no vote so far.  I'd give it some more time, it isn't always accurate right at first   :)

Ah, I see what you mean. I saw that 66.7% and thought "Wait. What? The whole thing is on video!"

The one part that could be seen as strange is when it switches to VHS for a bit. I knew that I did not have enough space on the video camera to record for the full 8 hours, so I had the VCR ready as backup. I actually transferred the footage from the camera to my laptop and deleted the footage from the camera as I was playing.

I was NOT aware that I could take 15 minute breaks either. After about 6 hours, my wife asked me if I needed to pee in a cup. I told her I wasn't going to take it THAT far.

A half an hour later... I took it that far.

Yeah. That happened. Shouldn't be VISIBLE anyway...

laugh lol.

i missed the switch to VHS.  I watched for a couple hours though!  I kept it playing while doing other stuff & sometimes skipped it forward a ways.  quite entertaining.   I played that game a LOT when I was about 10 yrs old,  "wanting" to like it.  I never figured out what was going on.  sometimes I was able to escape in the pod but still never knew what was going on.  it definitely caught my interest though  :)

I think I just gave you the last Yes smiley

Well done playing for so long.

I just recently played Jetpac for the ZX Spectrum for 7 hours. The rest of the day was a blurr laugh

Indeed, I believe you were! Thanks for that final vote!

It was definitely grueling. It sounds like you know a bit of what I am talking about with that 7 hour Jetpac session. I owned (and still own) a Commodore 64, but sadly have never been a Spectrum owner... yet.
