I know the screenshot was uploaded twice.  It's because I didn't think it uploaded properly the first time.

At any rate, how I got such a high score on the A difficulty is beyond me.  Usually I'm better at the B difficulty with guided shots.  Regardless, it's a shame we aren't playing this in the HSC!

@LarcenTyler:

My apologies for voting NO (abscence of video). At my own discretion, video is necessary when the score is enough to get a new world record for each game and platform, specially emulated platforms.

I'm more familiar with the original River Raid (released by Activision in 1982), and NOT with River Raid II.

Then why did you bother voting if you're not familiar? Why not just skip it?

Because I would like to see how to play and learn better the mechanics of this game.

But alternatively, I will check out the last River Raid II Contest at Atari Age 2600 High Score Club. (OLD HSC Season 7, Week 20, for more infos and hints)

Wanting to see how to play and learn the mechanics of the game has nothing to do with his score. If you don't know enough about the game to know if it's a legit score or not, skip it and come back later when you do. I'm skipping it for now because I don't know if there's a way to tell the difficulty settings from just a screenshot.

Unfortunately, there isn't really.  I mean I could press the difficulty switch in Stella to show that it's A, but that could happen at any time.  Oyamafamily, I personally think you should've just skipped this if you don't understand how it works.  You're ruining my reputation.

And to the other jerk who voted no because they want to see proof of the system, what do you want me to do? Take a picture of my rig which can play the latest games but is being used to play classic Atari 2600 games? Is my keyboard and computer monitor not enough?!
