I got myself a blinking light win. It replaces the standard connector pin and circumvents the nes 10 chip. Also it has a new tray so one does not bend the new pins thus the cart does push down.

I replaced the pin connector a couple years ago with a random one from Amazon, I think it was rebox brand by hyperkin. When I first installed it I didn't think it worked because I would click down the carts as there where no instructions included and they wouldn't play. I was going to return it but then saw original gamer videos in which he stated that the new pin connectors don't need to be clicked down so I reinstalled it and boom, 8 bit magic without clicking down the cart :)

Mine was just a pin connector, it holds the carts pretty tight

There's several Chinese made pin connectors out there. The first one I bought I had to send back  because it held the cart so tight I had to use pliers to get it out (also didn't work). So I bought a slightly more expensive one (11$ instead of 6$) and I'm satisfied with it. It holds the cart tight but I can get it out with my fingers and a couple wiggles

I'm glad people make these so old systems do not go sadly into trash cans.
