I went one day to my friends bar in Orlando called BART (Bar-ART) and decided to play some Burgertime after not playing the arcade version in years. It all started to come back to me with regard to some of my patterns and after 30-40 minutes, I was fastly approaching 1M. The unfortunate thing is that I had to catch a bus back to the house and I was running out of time, so I had to cut my game short and give it away to a guy who was watching me play. As you can see in the photo, I had a sh!t load of men left over, which meant I could have easily broken the million barrier and possibly even reach 2M as well. I will have to revisit this one again when I have some more time to play it.

Fantastic score Stephen. Is there now way we can get Chris or Billy or other legens to post their scores? Did yo ever see the log for Kelly Kobishigawas Hyper Sports world record ? We have people here in Norway on the verge of breaking that legendary score.

@Maxwel:

Thanks Maxwel. Chris I'm assuming still has his small collection of games in his house but I'm curious why he hasn't uped his score on any of them to this day. If I remember correctly, he's a manager in a meat department in a supermarket in Miami. Perhaps it takes a lot of his time thus not allowing him to spend some personal time in trying to break some of his records. I don't think he's in retirement. Probably just has to find the time.

As for Billy, knowing him like I do, he likes to remain low key. I'm sure he's still playing, and always has something up his sleeve with regard making an announcement that he's broken a record. He just doesn't make it too public. What everyone sees is him showing up to events and the like, as a promoter/supporter more-or-less. You may catch a glimpse of him playing a game or two on the side, but it's strictly casual. Never for a record. As for the others like Dwayne Richards, Darren Harris, the Crams, Leo Daniels, and several others, unfortunately, I do not know. I haven't heard of any*retirements* made public, so I would think their still playing on the sidelines, but just not as they did 20-30 years ago. I would love to see a posting of one of these guys breaking some record out of know where. Perhaps it will happen some day.

That's amazing! That would definitely make headlines if someone were to beat Kelly's legendary record that stood the test. What I didn't know is that Kelly's score was in fact broken by none other than Hector Rodriguez. The Track & Field king. It's up to 576,480 now. Can the players you're referring to tackle a score that high? I would love to see someone break the 600K barrier.

Good hearing from you Maxwel.

PS: I've been dormant for a while because I was a bit frustrated with the way the site is not being maintained. I still have score requests pending for almost 6 months now. I just figured since I don't have any control over that part of it, I might as well keep on submitting scores.

@S.BAZ:

Thanks S.BAZ. I have one even higher (on MAME) but can't get the version of MAME I played it on to playback. It was a million years ago and trying to get these older version of MAME to playback is a challenge. If I can find a way, I have dozens and dozens of scores from way back when to submit. The only ones I've been submitting were ones I've played on wolfmameplus 0106 and versions of wolfmame from like 170 to current.

@Gamegod:

Thanks Gamegod. My PB is around 1.2M (arcade). This game had the potential to surpass that, but I had to go so I gave my game away with more than a dozen men in reserve. :( I'm planning on playing it on MAME soon and try to beat my PB.
