Someone voted no with the reason "I wanted to see video of the entire gameplay. A partial recording made me uncomfortable" even though the entire gameplay is found on the first comment of this thread due to the website not taking my Twitch vids. i think I would screencap it so I could show it here
@S.BAZ:
Not sure what you're refering to what you/I should screencap. I recorded the entire gameplay via GV-USB2 capture device which is contained within the first comment and since HSC doesn't currently fully support twitch videos I had to instead put my proof video first which shows the game was indeed running on an original NES without the use of cheating devices. The 'no' votes for reasons such as "I think a photo alone isn't sufficient evidence for this score. Video desired." when I haven't even used 1 picture (I used full vids) and the other reason above I see as lazy attempts at voting on HSC as they don't attempt to contact me to show what is wrong within the videos, if they even have looked at them which is highly probable they haven't watched a second of any of them.
@TB303:
I've watched them, great score runs The reason for "photos insufficient" votes is due to the evidence presented here. Yes, it's technically in video format, but all it shows is the screen with that score on it and then the video just ends. this is essentially the same evidence as a photo, hence: video desired.
by screencap I was referring to how I do it with input files. Many users will not take the extra time to get the proper emulator to play back that file, just to see the video. Same with going to other sites to verify scores. So what I do is record the playback as it plays back. Now I have a video I can submit to Highscore.com ! So, what I meant was if I had a twitch video I would: (1) play it back for myself to record; (2) record it (screen capture or maybe external video); (3) submit the video to Highscore.com ! This way the score submission would receive fewer no-votes.
@S.BAZ:
Thanks mate I record my gameplay footage with xsplit locally & upload the videos onto Twitch once done recording. Due to my poor internet connection it'd take hours to reupload to Youtube. I don't like Youtube as much as Twitch as they tend to block videos from being watched whenever they like. All I'm thinking I could add is a webcam pointing towards the console and/or controller, which I'm looking to get one by febuary to enhance my video quality (won't have to turn on my old phone & record the console being turned on & off). |
