Voting YES! I noticed that all of your game consoles to the left of the TV are Nintendos. So do you have all Segas on the right side?
@Mark:
Thanks for the vote. There's a Sega Master System on the bottom and a Genesis 3 at the bottom right but the latter is not hooked up. I've got a PlayStation and PS2 to the right of the Master System. It's a pretty accomodating piece of furniture for someone with several game systems.
@bubufubu:
I've got both of my Sega Master Systems out. The U.S. Model 1 and the Japanese SMS (which also plays games for the SG-1000, Mk. III, SC3000, and the Otello Multivision). All I have to do is swap the AV and Power Supply cables to switch from one to the other.
@Mark:
At the moment, I can't recall what model Master System I have. I think they made three different ones, not including the Mark III. Convenience for cable switching is one of the main reasons why my Super Nintendo and GameCube are close to one another. Same goes for the PlayStation and PS2. Does your Master System have the original A/V cable? Not the Genesis 1 that is backwards compatible, mind you. This one has 8 "prongs" on it, I believe. I've never seen one.
@bubufubu:
I'm not sure about my Japanese SMS. I'm fairly certain that everything is original. I AM sure about my U.S. Model 1. I bought it new back in the day and still have the original box.
I like Spider-man lurking in the alley. ...a name tag in there would make the evidence even better!
@Mark:
What does the male end of the A/V cord for your Master System look like? Does it have 8 prongs? If so, are you able to share a picture of it? I'd love to get a look at it.
@S.BAZ:
Thanks. I'll probably have to delete pictures to make room as I'm running out of space on that digital camera. Luckily, this run happened while it was still daylight out so the pictures turned out fairly well. I don't think a name tage is in the near future, but I'll try to keep up with pictures. Spidey is hiding from Venom who stands on the top shelf of the entertainment center. >_>
@bubufubu:
Some of the name tags that I've run across are not lit well and are hard to make out. When that's the case, or if the score display is really small, I right click (on my mouse) and select "open image in new tab." Then I can enlarge it, which usually helps. Just write 'bubufubu (BUB)" in ink on a piece of paper and tape it to your CRT. That's what I use to do back when I was submitting scores for consoles and hand helds. Actually, I need to go back to playing my old console games sometime soon. |
Included in this submission are some photos. The quality isn't the greatest because it's an old digital camera. I tried to show as much as I could.
Final score viewable at the 42:55 (very briefly) and 45:05 marks.
