Please pardon the line on the card that says 'Novice B'. I added it out og habit - the difficulty switches have no effect in this game. Thanks! smiley

@Arrowhead12:

2nd edit - so the difficulty switches do have an effect (whoops) but it looks as if the other submissions used Novice B settings, as that is at least what I see from the video for the highest score. I am surprised that this game has no Expert A category.

YES on ALL! yes

This kinda looks like Gauntlet. I know Atarti released Guantlet for the Atari 7800 as Dark Chambers, because I own a copy.

@Mark:

There is a Dark Chambers released for Atari 2600 as well - I don't know if it is the 'same' game as the 7800 port though! Thank you for your vote! :)

Dark Chambers on 2600 is meant to be the same game as the one on 7800, although they are quite a bit different.  Gauntlet is a different game though. Dark Chambers is considered a predecessor to Gauntlet.  (Gauntlet on the 2600 is not related to these games).

Dark Chambers is a port of the Intellivision game "Night Stalker," which was also later released for the 7800.

@S.BAZ:

I appreciate the clarification S.Baz! I think the only chance I'll have of playing 2600 Gauntlet is on my Harmony cart. I doubt I'll come across one in the wild any time soon. Doesn't help the confusion that Dark Chambers was released later as the original Intellivision name 'Night Stalker' by Telegames haha. I will have to maybe grab a copy of 2600 Dark Chambers sometime! :)
