Pressing the select button and directions left and right allows to switch between difficulty settings (see directions shown in video and photo). In the video before starting the game I switch the paddle a couple of times from large to small to show the difference between the difficulty settings: normal (large paddle) and expert (small paddle). Successful run starts at 4:50min. After conclusion of the game I show the paddle difference again for easy identification that I achieved the score with the small paddle. Thanks for looking!

Many thanks! ... let's see how long it lasts! I invite everybody to beat it! ... The score may not appear as a big one but it was ststill very hard to achieve due to terrible controls! This game should play much better on the Jakks Atari TV Paddle console, but hey! everybody will have the same challenge here!

I seem to remember seeing a plug and play device with a paddle instead of a joystick.

I suck at paddle games as a general rule, but I use to be good at Night Driver on the 2600. We're talking over 35 years ago though! lol.
