Is this emulated or console?

Without a visible power cycle, it's hard to know if this is the original console or an emulator. Nice score though!

@derek:

I'm almost sure it was done on an original console because the reaction time on the controls in a NES emulator are horrible. I've played it on several emulators and it's really hard to get the pieces over to the wall fast enough in the higher stages like you can do with a game pad on an  original console. When I do play the emulator version, I use a keyboard and I've hit the left and right arrow keys as fast as I can when in the higher levels and once the screen gets about one third of the way filled, it's almost impossible to get the stick piece over to the wall and down the side. Don't know why, but it gets frustrating and is the reason I'd much rather play this game on the original console. Pro Tetris player Harry Hong agreed with me in the chat while I was watching him stream one day. He too said it's much hard to control the pieces on an emulator when their coming down really fast in the higher levels. Hope this helps. ????

@DonAtreides:

Hey thanks a lot Don. I'm hoping to raise this one even higher. My PB from bitd is around 750k give or take. So I know I have the potential to raise this one even higher. ????

I think what makes more inclined to say "emulator" is just the picture quality. Composite video has a tendency not to look quite as clear.

Since you know Harry, I'm assuming you've seen "Ecstasy of Order". If not you should check it out.

@DonAtreides: I've owned a copy of it for about the last seven years now. ???? I've lost track of how many times I've watched that documentary. Great stuff!
