Posted while video is still uploading.

I played this on my Philips G7400 console, connected to my NTSC television via an Atlona PAL/NTSC converter.

It is definitely similar, and Robotron is one of my favorite games.

I haven't fully learned the game, yet. Sectors of the city are destroyed when a "Flash Point" is left without intervention for too long. I am guessing that the game ends once every sector of the city is reduced to rubble (assuming you survice that long).

I'd like to read a manual for this (if one exists), so I can better understand the scoring. This is probably the game I will be playing most often on my Philips G7400.

As you can see towards the beginning of the video, I have rigged up a dual-controller holder. The unreleased Magnavox Odyssey 3 (which this game was designed for) would have had a place to dock the joysticks, which is how this game was designed to be played, but none of the Videopac or Odyssey 2 console variants have a joystick holder.. My make-shift dual joystick holder works pretty well, but the controllers aren't firmly held into place (which screwed me up in a few places). I'm thinking that something like a large elastic band might solve that.

The lighting in the video came out kinda weird, and the screen wasn't as crisp as usual when recording with my Google Glass. (My recent Resogun video was also recorded on Glass, and you can see the difference in that case. Resogun came out incredibly sharp.) Next time I play this, I'll probably play with the overhead lights off, to see if that makes a difference.

I got mine from VideopacBelgium.. He did a nice composite output mod on it, which enabled me to use it with my PAL/NTSC converter. The A/C cord is hard-wired, so I had to get a voltage converter for it (though that was inexpensive).
