@TheTrickster: Okay your choice. Can somebody pass me a tissue please?
@Benzi:
You'll be fine Benzi. Given the score is currently 94.1% legit, and the only way that can be achieved is by getting 16 Yes votes and 1 No vote, it's clear that this score is going to avoid the scrutiny that is reserved for select individuals here at High Score. You need to ask yourself how you would feel if someone now submitted a score of 5 million for this game, with no evidence beyond a screenshot. If the answer is that you'd be cool with that, then you really don't care whether scores are achieved legitimately or by cheating. I don't think you cheated. I don't have any evidence to suggest that you didn't though. It's about setting a standard to allow this site to hold some sort of value. It's really not hard to record a video of emulated Amiga games. I encourage you to help to set that standard. -- Posted by TheTrickster on 2017-03-27 23:23:18

@TheTrickster:
These are all good points, and to some extent I agree. Maybe it's a trust thing. Cheating for me would be pointless. And I mostly only submit scores of games I played as a kid on the actual hardware - I dont spam the site with game after game to progress when it's obvious I've never actually played them before. Have a nice day. That score is not so high Trickster, but I agree making videos of Emulation should not be a problem. I just wish I could find a ROM where world 4 isn't messed up, and that score is gone It takes a little luck to get that score in 12 rounds, but its not impossible. I voted Yes
@Frankie: Thanks Frankie, your right it isn't that hard to do in 12 rounds. Ive never been able to record using winuae. whenever i try it just slows my system right down.
@Frankie:
I've not tried it with the trainer (cant get past boss on world 3). In what way is it messed up? |
Without a video, there's no way I can vote yes on this submission. There are already a number of world records on this site for emulated Amiga games that should never have gone legit without video proof (Bubble Bobble, Silkworm etc.).
