is the control of Sega GENESIS in Atari functional? or is it with an adapter?

No, it's functional, just plug it in and play!  ('B' is used as the 2600 controller button.)

Whatever you do, DON'T use a high frequency controller! I learned that the hard way when my car got stuck in high gear during a game of Dodge 'Em!

@S.BAZ: if I already tried it, for some games it is easier to use the control of the sega .. but for others NOT ... for example Taz, Seaquest, Decathlon is not convenient to use that control of Sega ...

Genesis does what Nintendon't. At least, not without someone doing some rewiring, but yes, Genesis controllers all work great, as long as you turn off ny turbo fire functions because it screws up games.

personally, I find the Genesis controller a little awkward for atari games & I prefer the good ol' CX-40.
