Mouse Trap (Atari 2600 Novice/B)

Ah, Mouse Trap! Great game! However difficulty should be a bit harder even on Novice as it's one of them games you could play forever after you got the hang of it. On the other hand, that's what the expert difficulty would do! ... Anyway, well done!

You're right! I think it definitely could be something one could play indefinitely on this difficulty! Maybe one of these days I'll put some more practice in, and see if I can roll it over - i'm surprised the score rolls at only 9999. I appreciate your comment, thanks Rob! :)

Ha, ha! I had the same idea! However many voters may want video evidence since it'd be a roll over and a top spot.

This game on this difficulty is probably the only thing other than Laser Blast that I'd have a chance at rolling right now, but I'm not sure I would want to sit for 7 hours to do that haha. Definitely some crazy endurance required with that one! :)

What's Laser Blast like?

Repetitive! And very very much so! In my opinion, it may be the only 'bad' Activision game on 2600 - 3 enemies spawn per screen - but you start moving prior to them being able to attack. They always spawn evenly spaced so there is no change in strategy throughout the run. Basically, each time you start a new screen - f you shoot down, move right, shoot down, and then shoot diagonally right, you should be able to beat each successive screen without ever being hit. Don't get me wrong, it must take a lot of dedication to get the '!!!!!!!' score, you just might not have the most fun doing it haha 

Oh, thanks. That's good advise for not getting Laser Blast then. But there are so many other titles I'm interested in! ... And too little time to play them all!
