Your score keeps on dropping to zero at times since you shoot people you're not supposed to. It shows you on startup which ones you have to shoot. Ignore the others.

Also, once "Nitro Ed" at the top has a bomb in his hand, shoot him and it won't cost you a life unless he tosses it.

@DarrylB: Oh thanks, I was wondering about that! This game is one of the ones that's NOT like riding a bike for me... I got the hang of it & max'd the score several years ago, but now I flounder.
