Again, I love your Atari 800XL!  Where can I find a multicart like that?

@DakotaKid: Lotharek from Poland. I had it 4 days after I ordered it. You can also order a prepared CF card ready with a lot of games on it :-)

I will be joining within 3 weeks or so laugh

I am just puzzled with all the file formats and which flash cart to buy. The one from Frankie looks great but it still uses CF and I believe only reads ROM files.

You ve got the 'The Card', The ultimate card, the SIO2SD, SIO2USB, something with IDE...

Do you have any suggestions?

I would like to play the disk games too. Something easy to setup like the C64 Ultimate.

Thanks in advance.

@GTibel: I have been pleased so far, but never tried to load a disk game. I think there are some disk games on the prepared card, so it must be able to load them I thinkk :-)

I have a SIO2SD. The most decisive point was that it's cheap. wink Especially without housing it's less than 30 euros. So I have decided for this SIO2SD and installed it in my 65XE.

This is it:

Very neat. You're a real handyman. I'm not. This solution with pre-build case looks like a good candidate. It even has an easy search engine (just like with the car navigator). Thanks all.

@SHiNjide:

That's very nice dude smiley

My problem is that I very often rush into buying these stuff without looking into other products laugh

Like with my Gotek for my Amiga, it seems you can't save the save game disks. I would need a SD version for that, not and USB, so unless I'm wrong, I need to invest again laughlaughlaugh

@GTibel:

You're welcome! The cool thing is, you can control the SIO2SD via the buttons, or you can boot a little menu where you can navigate trough the SD with the joystick or coursor keys. Very handy!

@Frankie:

But how often do you need a save disc on the Amiga? The most games are action games where you can not save anyway. wink

Couldn't you use an internal CF card as HD in your Amiga 600 and load and play WHDLoad Games? So I'm doing it with my 1200 which is very convenient. laugh

You mean not playing Pirates or Wings? How is that possible laugh

That WHDload thing is that the strange cable I've seen on the net that goes into the left side of your Amiga? I would not know how to set that up. I was playing way to much back then, I'm not tech nerd. I'm hopeless laugh

@Frankie:

Plus, WHDLoad only works if you have kickstart 3.1 or better. My A500 can't handle this (KickStart 1.3), I'm trying to guess what to buy to be able to remove the floppy unit and replace it by a SD reader, but without any good results, and I don't want to invest for nothing

Hmm.. not really. Here are some infos if you want: http://whdload.de/

Regarding the Moon Patrol score: AAAARRRGGGHHH!!! I always come to about 67000, but not more. From there, it is really hard. But stay tuned!
