Once you obtain a score in this game on the Atari 7800, your score goes away, never to be seen again. It is a piece-o-crap.

I had a similar experience playing Star Trek pinball this weekend. By the time I got my iPod out to take a photo, the score was gone and it was giving the credits of everyone who was involved in the creation of the game, and all the scores of 5 people who are way better than me. Luckily, I was shooting video, so I was able to capture it that way.
