It's hard to tell from your photo, but what hardware is that?

@ILLSeaBass:

It looks like a Gamerz Tek Nes clone. I haven't found a definitive answer whether this is hardware or emulation. The fact that on the website it states "more game compatability than the others" leads me to believe it's not hardware or it wouldn't have compatibility issues. I'll skip for now.

Personally, I always believed that the NES-on-a-chip clones are technically using the actual hardware, as opposed to the Retron, which clearly uses emulation.  I've had several of them and they just boot right up.  No menus or anything.

You are correct, this is the Gamerz Tek. From what I've heard, there is only one compatibility issue, on BattleToads. I apologize if I've put this in the wrong place. Like others mentioned however, there are no menus or anyway to operate anything but a real cartridge on this unit.

Well after some searching I came up with the following.

¯\_(O_o)_/¯

The consensus from what I read anyway is that it's not an emulation machine like the Retron.

I'll vote yes.
