Sinclair User raved about this budget game. It didn't impress me. Bullet firing is so sluggish.

Are you going through mags, and play the games reviewed? Sounds like it smiley Having a full set of Crash, Sinclair User, Your Spectrum and Your Sinclair I would not dare starting doing that laugh

How many mags you got?

I've got none. All throw away early 90's. angry Who thought we would be playing 8 bit again he.

I am cleaning up my 300k frontend. Just a random pick. Speccy emu for this month. And then read about the game on some online mag sources.

I did once though with Retrogamer. Starting from issue 1 and then playing/reading every game it mentioned. I stopped after a while. Hellish :)

But still on my 'bucket list'.

So happy I never threw anything away of my old stuff, but did sell my C64 with disk drive to invest in more Spectrum in the 90s. What I’m most annoyed about by doing that is that I also lost my Disk version of Rainbow Islands sad Not easy to find these days...

I have a ton of issues for mags that cover the Commadore 64. Compute!, Compute!'s Gazzette, Commander, and RUN. I only throw away gaming related stuff if it's dead hardware, and even then I still have a dead Atari VCS 4-Switch Woody, a dead 2600 Jr., and two dead NES Model 1s, and a dead Goldstar 3DO. I still have another 2600 Jr., a spare NES Model 1 and an NES Model 2 (top-loader). Most of my gaming systems still work great, especially the SEGA hardware. The SMS was built like a tank in comparison to the NES.

I have an old 1541 Floppy drive and a newer 1541 II drive. I have 2 CIB C64s, and a Commodore Color Monitor. I'm still stuck looking for a decent Datasette drive however. The C64 setup is a project that is still unfinished.
