Hello! a note about your request on the Nintendo Switch (I add requested games) -- If City Connection is the NES version, that goes under (NES/Famicom Emulated).

They just added this game last night! I had never heard of it prior. There is no way to kill the cats, you have to either avoid them or jump over them. I have to admit, for the first few games I played I had no clue I could go backwards! That, too, helps quite a bit.
