I have decided to become an inactive member. I have removed all of my submissions that were in the voting srtage and have deleted all videos I had uploaded to youtube.

I bhave a confession. I created users joepopper, sshaffer and a few others so I could vote on my own submissions. It seems that those votes didn'yt count (I waited a few minutes to see if my votes went down) My submissions were all accurate and truthful, though. Also, someone has posted that cat picture again in one of the forums. I won't be using highscore.com again. It is a fun site for good competition and comraderie. I just am tired of being here. I went for ghost points at times, and it bit me! no pun intended - didn't make it back to an energizer in time; would have hit the kill screenif 5200 has one. I know that someone has reached a million. My score of 110010 was voted in before that player's million game

Look at my emulation spped in the title bar - it ran normally with a little fluctuation in speed. I'm not sure why youtube shows this fast.

Recored and played using the VICe emulator. The game looks like it should now. I noticed the speed fluctuates but is much closer to normal. Let me know if the speed fluctuation is an issue to validity. The speed is shown in the titlebar, which i include in th capture window.

If I need to redo the 100,000 game, no biggie. It didn't kate but 25 minutes at the very slow speed, so I will have fun the next time. I won't quit from boredom. the monsters don't get vulnerable, just like all versions i have played except the 5200, so I'll play until i die the last life - probably won't "kill scrren" a no blue perpetuallity unless i develop a pattern

Thanks for suggesting VICE. I have it now and deleted hosx54. The game looks like it should. I do still notice the speedometer showing a fluctuating value, but i played mspacman and it played o.k. My recordings, using hyper cam sjopw the title bar of the window which shows the speedometer.

I understand the no vote. A video being quirky can be caused by player fraud. I will use VICe emul.atir

I had it sownloaded, then got the keyboard mappings for hosx64 to work so deleted the other emulators for C64. I will get it again. Thanks.

That's how gaming is sometimes. Like, board 13 on super Pacman M.A.M.E. is tricky for me, but I have less trouble with boards 16-22

As of 10:10 a.m. on June 16, youtube is still processing the video. I could have gone further, but, due to the slow emulation during play, I just quit at exactly 100,000.

I don't know why the youtube playbacks are faster. If max speed toggle is on, youtube playback is super fast; if max speed toggle is off, youtube playback looks normal but still faster than my actual play speed

Did not toggle max speed, so I could control the game better; it is very slow and the speed fluctuates, but I can make turns easily at the slow speed ( the emulator hads a speedometer that shows speed of emulation; it constantly fluctuates, usually around 20% without max speed toggle on; max speed toggle has it usually running at 225% or so and fast speed also fluctuates, so very hard and easy to miss turns and run into monsters; will try another emulator; don't know how to set this emulator( HOSx64) and a certain speed

The speed of play was slow, so I throyyled emulator max speed. The youtube playback speed is accelerated, Idon't know why.

I guess I'll get a c-64 emulator for Pacman

I had an Atari 5200 around 1982-83. I've known about the "stay vulnerable" aspect of the later boards for over 30 years. I currently need one more vote to get credit for my 110010 score. I have acheived 818,000 (got greedy going after monsters for points and didn't make it to an energizer in time). I wanted to get the points for the 110010 game, then post the 818,000 for crack poin ts and the world points. This won't get world now. I would have had it posted a week ago and maybe got the votes before oyamafamily (congrats!).

This should be in the pac-man data soft 400 800 xl xe category.

Playback on youtube is sped up. I'm not sure why. I played the game at regular speed.

I had upload ed a better score and deleted this one before I realized that it should stay disregard. I posted a better score and will leave my videos from now on. I wonder what my youtube quota is.

I use Altirra for 5200 game, and didn't want to change the settings to set up for the 600 so that I could just use Altirra for 5200. I have 800winxl, but I started it, and should have figured it would be much like Altirra

I am 48. I remember well back in the day spending many quarters on Pacman, and plenty on donkey Kong, Frogger, and mx. pacman. My brother and I had the Atari 2600, Atari 5200. I also had an Atari 800XL computer.

I use Altirra for the emulator. So far, I have just used the record video option. Let me know if audio is needed.

I just blew my 70,000 game away with a performance I will post when this one is o.k.ed and on the books so I get credit for it.

I was on the menu screen for a while wondering why pacman ad, was not also on the list. I then noticed that ms pacman ad is on highscore.com instead. I guess pac manad wasn't included in the superabc romset.

Yep. Also, not this gvame but recvently, I went after a blue one and reached it just as it turned back. All monsters turneed red. I t happened a few times during the hundreds of arcade machine games I played.

My high from years agon on the actual arcade machine (before I learned the 9th key patter, is 331,400.

I keep in mind to have the game run through the setting screen at the beginning of the video. For this, I have seen that puckman has the parent roms.

i have posted some messages in other area here stating that both of my high scores were achieved by cheating ; this is not the case, but I realize that my messages have allowed confusion about my score validations to enter the picture. That was deliberate on my point. I realize also that even if they decide (after readjudicatin) that the score are valid, that my membership on this site probably will be banned. It's the same game as all other versions, basically. There are some differences though; by differences, i mean aspects that are not the same; byt the same i mean things that are alike;

At one point, I cleared a board with about 600 points to your score, I just changed my plan to fast points, so energizers asap and a couple monsters topped it then wasn't too concerned if i died but tried to keep going 

That's what I felt like. It took over 100 tries. I lost two lives on the 5th board, but I didn't let it get me down. I pressed on, topped your score, then a banana foated aroungd got it then about 30 sec later game over.

Does this score use pacland world roms or pacland midway?

I just had a 108,000 game - started great 52,000 after 5 boards lost 1sst guy on 5th board, 2 foolish moves cost me the next 2 lives ( including trying for a 400 blue ghost on very short blue time (knew better). I was on the last board before the 2nd junior intermission, had all dot eaten except for those right by energizers, got trapped between two ghosts. Ughh about the two lives due to foolish moves. I'll get ya though enough for now

I completed this game thinking the high score was 113 thousand and some odd points. Ah yes, I did it. I then went to make sure, and saw that I was 260 short!

It might take me another 70 times. I try too hard to stick to my old ways of clearing boards, sometime(several, I have missed a perfect score for the forst board or even died on the first or 2nd board.
