Thanks, Larcen! It was...interesting. I may go back for the Cry Baby game some day, but I wanted to give the game a go. It's not that bad...it's just arguably overloaded with filters. They probably could have done 26 games and made them twice as good with a bit more effort and had a bigger hit on their hands.

From 1-1 to 3-1 to 1-1...Same thing I did with the Famicom Emu. vers. Theoretically, this could be done indefinitely. An any% category would be awesome. 

Yeah, Derek. Any% would be awesome for many games. I assumed that the games on here were that way unless they explicitly noted "no farming" or something under the rules per cart.

I thought I had hit record on this. Anyway, after about an hour of using an "infinite" life exploit at the beginning of 1-1 with the second turtle, I kept looping from 3-1 to 1-1. I did this about 3-4xs. I wish I had the video. I can do it again another day, if this is insufficient somehow.

I died at the end, but I guess as a teaser, they showed me level 2 and gave me the continue screen. That boss was ridiculous. Anyway, my final score is displayed near the end. It flies up from around 96,000 to 138,391 as I defeated the boss, made it to level 2, and died at the same time.

Thanks, omar. I've always been better with the more modern Mortal Kombats myself. That's part of the reason I haven't posted a score for the older ones. It's a fun game, especially once you learn to fly.

Sometimes, it's so hard to remember Dip Switch presentations when they are default, and you are honest, and it's not a part of normal gameplay. I have to make a conscious effort to do this. I was hardly ever an arcade-maniac, preferring console games for over three decades. Blah, blah...Dipswitches...Must...include...Ugh.

I agree that it is slightly harder, and the controls are ridiculous; mario just can't slow down fast enough in this one, it seems (frame-wise), and the enemies appear a bit quicker, and that time counter is a menace. Great score, omar.

Thanks, I noticed you were a little ahead here in this category as I was uploading...I'm just now noticing the dearth of fighters and trivia games that are supported on this site. It's kinda saddening, esp. since those are two genres for which I most excel. I, at least, wish they offered more support here for Arcade fighters, outside of a handfull of SNK titles.

Thanks, JES and 1SB. I resolved the video issue by switching to .mov in OBS. With this one, I recorded play in OBS and had .flv as the output. Then, I cut the video and changed it into .wmv before Youtube processed it, as it was uploading, again. Lesson learned. Things are clear now, as can be seen in my blind play-through of Toki.

As I stated above, I voted yes, although without video evidence, we don't know whether you used any continues, etc. This is game is hard vote...

The video has been overprocessed so much it looks as if it has been chemically treated. OBS - default .mov from now on. I may replay this so I can post a better vid/score, depending on how introductory voting goes. For those unfamilar with this game, the score is that washed-out looking white blob under the 1 UP section. Aye, yi, yi, .flv format!
