My first score submission in over a month.

I acquired my first TI99/4A a few weeks ago, but I've been so busy, tonight was my first chance to try it.

The video quality is surprisingly poor. The sharpness and colors are stunning on my TV, but didn't capture well with my WinTV for some reason.

This is not a very good score, but I look forward to progressively improving on it.

looks like a fun version of Demon Attack

@S.BAZ:

Since the demons never split, it feels like a different game. More like Space Cavern with a boss level.

I had this game on this system and that video just took me back to playing it sitting on the floor of my parents living room sometime in the 80's. Don't know what happened to the old TI but I think I want another! :)

It is an impressive system! Seeing videos of TI99 games from other High Score members made me want one badly.

The arcade conversions by Parker Bros look especially awesome (Frogger, for example!). And the quality of speech synthesis on Star Trek is impressive.

I managed to pick up a new-in-box Wico converter (some on eBay right now) so I can use my arsenal of Atari-compatible controllers with the TI99.

I'm looking forward to logging some hours playing Atarisoft, Sega, and Parker Bros arcade conversions on this system with my Battlestation II and CMS Super-8 controllers.

Sweet more hardware scores. I always vote hardware before I start voting on emulation I admit it.

That's usually the case for me, too. I enjoy seeing photos and videos of games being played on the original hardware, though some members MAME setups are pretty neat too (Larquey, for example).

@Serious:

Yeah Larquey and DJ have some nice equipment. I just like hardware mainly because its harder to fake or to use exploits. For example videos can start fine but skipping threw them is a bad idea in emulation. Here is why, Savestates are a F8 keystroke away. Its an easy miss when watching in normal speed let alone skipping threw a video. So it takes more effort to vote on such scores.
