Trying out my new composite modded Atari 7800 system from Video61 that game in the mail today, and I couldn't think of a better game to test it out with than the Atari 7800 port of one of my all time favorite arcade games. Centipede on the 7800 is really the only game I've ever played that I think controls better with Atari's CX-80 Trak-Ball set in joystick mode than a standard joystick or game pad. It definitely feels like this game was programmed with the Trak-Ball in mind.
