Berzerk (Arcade Emulated / M.A.M.E.)

what a tough game.  definitely can't depend on my 2600 skills for this one.

Its been so long since I've played the arcade version, I forgot how awesome some of the speech segments were. 

I wish that there were more games that said things like "SHOOT THE HUMANOID"

"FIGHT. LIKE. A. ROBOT."

hahahahah yea & "GET. THE. CHICKEN"

arcades used to be really dark too.  when I think of that I remember Berzerk & vector games especially because you kind of needed it to be dark to see the games well enough!   but that also made it draw you into the games more, like when a movie theatre gets dark.

Asteroids, Star Wars, Star Castle, Gravitar...

I was also very young at that time (born 1975) so it was all very amazing to me 

I heard Death Race had to be removed for people complaining about gameplay of running over people even if the pixels weren't that graphic :p

:D  interesting I never heard of that!  made after the movie even...  that's funny it says "it's fun chasing monsters"  to candy-coat the running people over thing!
