I was 1st place last year but now I currently hold 2nd place @ 164,024.  With this new score, I excited to become the new world champion.  According to the forum here, I believe flashback 2 counts as an offical atari @ highscore.com?

I thought it was classified as an emulator?

I thought it was emulation too. Will skip for now.

There's a thread in the general discussions area, I put a blank comment to move to the top :)

Since the FB2 uses the "Atari On A Chip", which is actual hardware, I think this is in the correct category.  Voted yes!  :)

@Deteacher:

Just as long as the game is the exact same as the 2600 original, I suppose.  Because many games get changed on these re-releases/updates/whatever.

I ended up voting yes as well, though perhaps for selfish reasons - I have a  FB2 as well, so I can take a crack at this score.  It's a shame ATgames decided to go the emulation route after the FB2, this was such a neat device.

Before I submitted my score using an Atari Flashback 2, I've checked and concured with http://highscore.com/discussions/topic/atari-flashback-2/397 The Flashback 2 is considered "Atari On A Chip", which is actual hardware unlike other Atari Flashbacks.

Thank you everyone on the yes votes.
