This was a pretty popular game back in its heyday. I can still remember playing it on my buddy's Atari one Saturday morning when his parents weren't home. He knew where his dad kept the stash. I remember it being in a fancy faux-leather case and we were amazed that we could see this in the 1980s. The game itself is pretty terrible, but the memories are great!
@TK421:
This game was the reason my grandparents wouldn't get us a nintendo! They didn't know the difference 'tween Atari & Nintendo and didn't know that it was just an adult game not available at toy stores & PayLess or whatnot. They thought this is what the games were like in the video game world for kids!! hahahahahhah... I think they relied on church pamphlets or something.
@S.BAZ:
This was the only game I ever knew existed in the genre for several years until I saw that Mystique had quite a few other titles that were just bad games. For my money - Harem, which was never actually released publicly, is probably the most fun to play - take away the x rated factor and replace it with something more PG and it is still a very playable game. @TK421 I remember learning that cutting a notch in my 5 1/4 disks would allow the other side to be used for my C64 - that allowed me and my friends to pass games like strip poker and leisure suit larry around without our parents knowing back in the late 80s.
@ajdoyle:
ha, funny... that sounds about right and yeah Harem is easily the best one. I think there was another company too that made X-Man.
@S.BAZ:
I think that was Multivision - they made Harem I believe. You have to go out and read the story behind Harem, seriously, you could make a movie about the making of that game. Drugs, embezzlement, murder plots. Truth is stranger than fiction!
