Great game but tough! I can't even make it past the first level. I'll get there sometime. This one is on my to-get list :)

Agreed. Recently I purchased an AV Famicom and would love to pick this one up.

I don't have a Famicom yet but it's in my to-get-next list. Although I want an unmodified unit ;)

I think he means he purchased the model 2 famicom which looks exactly the same as the american top loader. It has component cables factory installed,no modifications. (Could be wrong though?) I actually just bought a famicom but I went with the wonderful red and white model. Unfortunately its still working its way here from Japan. I bought mostly platformers to play with it as those are my preference but as shooters go I am looking forward to getting a copy of Salamander for it and good old kinda boring Xevious was in one of the game lots I purchased.

I wish I knew why I keep getting votes stating my evidence and score are not legit. I've done everything I know how to do to make sure my real name and nickname are in every piece of evidence I submit. I'm not complaining but I wish those that think my scores are not legit would post why they think that. I know others are having similar experiences but, seriously, if you are going to deny a score is legit then have the balls to post why so that a gamer can better their evidence.

@yarjr: I thought about that AFTER I posted my comment. I forget that the top-loader in other countries got that treatment. A few Japan sites selling original Famicom (the one I like the most) offer an A/V modification. This is what came to mind first. Let me know what you think about the Famicom when you get it in.
